We thank you and we look forward to serving you.
Great dining experience.
We recently stumbled upon this GEM
Chef Daniel & his staff are passionate about their craft.
Eat like you give a damn!
Very special place
Food created with love!
We had the most wonderful dinner with my family. Every dish was special. This may be my new favorite restaurant:)
Wow so glad we came upon this restaurant. Top quality...ingredients, preparation and presentation. Food was great and service excellent. Thank you Daniel.
Most of the food was delicious! The Tomato Stack appetizer was great! The Cod and Chicken Meatballs entrees were really delicious. We talked about one appetizer and a desert with Daniel, who was interested and critiqued what he felt was wrong.
It’s a bit pricey due to organic and fresh products that are cooked when ordered. It was also delightfully slow to to the fresh cooking - we loved that part. Kimberly, our server was professional and completely aware of our needs. She is an asset!Definitely a special occasion evening!
Absolutely wonderful farm to table food. Top quality, well prepared. Interesting dishes such as Bison ribs, lamb shank, duck pizza all presented very well. Menu is fresh daily, and you order off a blackboard easel. Great, diverse, well priced wine list- there is no hard liquor license. Located in a strip mall, so atmosphere is nice but not elegant. Feels like a nice find.
Loved the brewed sweet tea with clove as well as our date appetizer & chicken meatballs. So good !
This was our first visit to Daniel's Table. Wow! Think gourmet restaurant. If the Coachella Valley were to have a restaurant with a Michelin Star, Daniel's Table would be on the list. The one caveat for guests is the menu. You don't know what Chef Daniel will be cooking on any given might so be prepared to be wowed. It's certainly a find for us here in the desert.
We were visiting from the East Coast and just stumbled on this. Absolutely could compete with the best NYC restaurants. Great customer service and even better flavors and creative menu items.
Hand-crafted farm to table organic food. What could be better? Add in excellent service and owner/chef and wife on premises and there it is!
A great find. The quality of the ingredients was amazing. Food tasted delicious and the service was very warm and well done.
This was the first time we tried Daniel's and we were pleasantly surprised. What a lovely little gem. It was a bit late and quiet so we were able to chat with Daniel and really learn about the place.
Our server was so great, food delicious we all tried different entrees. Pork belly appetizer a must.
Definitely will return.
Our dinner at Daniel’s Table was outstanding! The organic wine list has wonderful selections at fair prices. The food and service were top notch. What a small hidden gem. So happy we discovered it!
Meal was delicious (kudos for sourcing food ethically which was reflected in the freshness of the ingredients), and we were carefully attended to by Kimberly and the chef himself, Daniel.
Will definitely come back upon my next stay in the Coachella Valley.
Outstanding evening. Very special place. Will return for sure. Lovely staff!
This was such a special experience -- it felt like a small gem in Europe. We had some in our group with very specific diet restrictions. I spoke with Daniel himself the week before and he put my mind at ease that he could accommodate them. He not only accommodated, but made everyone feel welcome and delivered a beautifully unique meal. Our wine was spectacular and unlike anything I have had before. His food was fully customized, creative and delicious. We ended our meal with delicious desserts. He and his entire staff were wonderful and we will never forget our experience at Daniel's Table. Don't walk, run here.
It’s a simple neighborhood secret with outstanding food. The staff and owners are very hospitable.
Great food, very creative menu, excellent service for this new spot.
Outstanding little gem! Fresh, organic, food with Chef Daniel’s proprietary spice blends which he refuses to share ;-) Daniel, his wife, and the staff were accommodating to our dietary needs and refreshingly warm and friendly. After the allies, salad, and entrees, you’re going to think you’re too full for desert but don’t miss the flourless chocolate cake!!!! Can’t wait to get back!
We celebrated my 61st birthday here and wow, what an experience! Some of the most unique and flavor forward food I have ever had. We ordered 3 appetizers for the table and all were spectacular. The stuffed dates were particularly wonderful - so intense - and I loved the wild mushroom flatbread which was very earthy. The caeser was an unusual and stunning presentation - perfect balance between rich and savory. I had the pistachio and lamb meatballs (what an odd combination!) were unlike anything I have had and I loved them. The tomato puree (?) that accompanied this dish was so earthy and intense. What a revelation! But the star of the entrees was the bison ribs (bison ribs!). I really can't describe them. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned in a way that allowed the flavor of the meat to be perfectly enhanced. The service was informed and perfectly balanced. The wine list is short but the pinot from Bordeaux was a great choice. We really appreciated Chef Daniel coming out at the end to see how we liked everything. We did! All in all the perfect night. If you like innovative food that is unique and intensely flavored, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back!
Five stars from beginning to end for an exceptional dining experience. We're from San Francisco and we always make it a point to dine at this gem of a restaurant. Daniel and his staff always make us feel like the President and the First Lady! Located in Cathedral City, Daniel's Table is a stone's throw from other nearby desert cities with... parking (which is a rarity where we are from). It's so difficult to know what to order. Our eyes are always bigger than our stomachs, so we've learned to order as many dishes that we want to try and share. We make our own tasting menu and ....it's also very romantic :)!
Enjoy and buon appetito!
The food at Daniel's Table is one of the few true gourmet experiences available in the Coachella Valley. The meal was fresh, flavorful, inventive and locally sourced. While the atmosphere may not seem to merit the fairly high prices, overall it's worth it and we will absolutely go back. We enjoy supporting locally owned family businesses... owner Chef Daniel is in the kitchen, his wife is the server and their daughter is seating guests and busing tables. Can't forget to mention also the unique wine list of strictly organic European wines, many at very good rates! Definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion meal out-
Amazing experience. Great unique menu, flavors were different, interesting and delicious. Service was excellent . Chef Daniel and his staff were terrific! We will definitely be coming back !
One of the rarest restaurants that uses totally fresh and organic foods and made deliciously! Daniel doesn't even use sugars in his food but yet the chocolate cake was one of the richest and most amazing deserts I've had in a long time! The fresh vegetables and the ribs were to die for. Will return soon!
Organic from garden to originals by Daniel. Consistently.
Great foot, farm to table, need to improve the services.
Daniel’s food is unique, delicious and all sourced from local farms/ purveyors. Try the salmon- the best preparation I’ve ever had!
We had a delicious meal at Daniels’s last night. The date goat cheese appetizer is not to be missed as is his interpretation of a Caesar salad.
The entree’s were excellent and change weekly depending on the local produce available. They had a nice wine list. We had the bison ribs, prawns and salmon.
Excellent flavors with special sauces. Lovely chef owned restaurant which I highly recommend!
Amazing! Food and service were great. We absolutely loved Daniels Table, and will be back next time we are in Palm Springs.
Dinner at Daniel’s tonight was just superb. The prawns were delicious. I asked for them grilled and Daniel was most willing to accommodate my wishes. My friend had the salmon and was quite happy with her choice.
The atmosphere ,as always is so welcoming, and service efficient and timely.
Oh yes, Daniel’s Fig Cake thankfully was back in season and even more moist and full of flavor and topped with a marscarpone icing and crumbled pistachios. Do not miss this treat!
Dinner at Daniel’s Table is always a most pleasurable experience.
Our first visit and we loved it. Daniel and his wife serve as Chef, server and hostess. Everything is organic and every ingredient is hand selected. I had the salmon and my partner had the bison. We also split the Caesar salad and a fig and cheese appetizer. This is very high-quality food, elegantly prepared by passionate people who love to share their craft. This is a find. It has 9 tables, a bar to eat at and a chalk board menu that changes frequently based on ingredients and what's in season. Really terrific!
We were skeptical because it is in a strip mall on Palm Canyon. As we have been surprised before about strip mall restaurants, we were again surprised, pleasantly!! It’s very nice, well setup white table cloth dinning. We sat at Chef’s table (counter at kitchen). We were greeted by Chef Danial’s wife and Chef Daniel as well. It’s a chalkboard menu because... listen.... all items are fresh that day and it changes daily! Most of the proteins stay the same but the prep, sauces, and sides change with what is available on that day. Chef Daniel is a seasoned chef. He has very innovative dishes. AND organic wines (no sulphate). We have Caesar salad with poached egg, delicious, maybe a little more garlic please. Also, the meatballs, fab, and the Bison Ribs. OMG on the ribs!!! Cooked until tender then grilled on an open cherrywood flame to perfection. The spices were amazing and the side dipping sauce incredible. The side of zucchini and veggies cooked perfectly. Dessert was Backlava, could have done without but that is brought in from another source. We felt well taken care of, like we were in his own private kitchen. Be prepared to wait a bit longer than traditional restaurants, as Chef Daniel makes everything to order. It’s WORTH THE wait!!! We will definitely be back.... soon!
Excellent - Daniel is very creative and generous. The tasting menu was so interesting that I would recommend it to anyone! Give it a try !
Absolutely incredible. Every aspect of the meal was perfect.
Great Birthday celebration. Delicious food great service; great time between courses.
We came with a large group for a bachelorette party and were provided with wonderful service. The food was great, and even though there was a mix up with one of the dishes, the server and chef were very apologetic and made a new dish very quickly. Afterwards they very generously gave us desert on the house and offered to take photos. The owner and chef, Daniel, also came out to greet us at the end of the night. Overall it was a delightful dining experience and the bride to be had a great time!
We had a wonderful meal & enjoyed the food, wine & service. New favorite!
The service was super slow - food was pretty good - staff was really nice. Just be prepared to be there for a while. It’s the summer and they were probably understaffed. Probably could step up their game a bit.
Hi Dana, thank you for making a reservation with us and visiting Daniels Table. You're right, it is summer and I do staff accordingly and though I recommend our guests to make a reservation that is not always the case. Mostly, our guests do appreciate that I source only the best ingredients to serve a menu made from scratch and to order while they dine here without being rushed. I do apologize for the delay that you and your party experienced and I hope that we see you all again. Chef Daniel.
If you are a foodie, this would be a great place. We were a bit set back when our server told us the cupons we had were going to be accepted, but only because he thought that is what brought us in. It was! And we did expect them to be accepted. I now have two other coupons, bought in good faith, wondering what I should do with them. That in mind, if you are a foodie, you will like this place.
The mushroom cassoulet was VERY good, the fig flatbread was over toasted and the the biason ribs overdone, but that is my taste - other members of my group enjoyed what they had - albeit leaving most of the meal on their plate. Also a bit on the $$$$ side for the ambiance and meal. Our sever Michael was awesome, the other servier (a women) seemed a bit distracted???? I think, I would give it a 2nd chance.........................
Hi Jay, thank you for making a reservation with us. Though your coupons brought you in and we are grateful, the coupons are not valid with any other promotions including our summer offer. However, we honored your coupons. Some distraction was caused by numerous walk in guests back to back and my wife ran in to help at the last minute. It sounds like you have great taste, so please accept my apology for over grilling your flatbread and bison ribs. Hopefully we'll see you a 2nd time. Chef Daniel
