Prices have outstripped value. 20 0/0 service that doen’t go to servers is wrong. Owners should be ashamed!

From the building, it's view, the staff, the great food, it is all good!! We have come here for years and it never disappoints. It is a very special place!! We come from south sound to get to Daniel's Broiler and it is well worth the drive. We came for my husband's birthday and the experience made his birthday very special. Thanks all at Daniel's Broiler at Leschi!!

Our server's name was Melissa. She was absolutely delightful. We were their celebrating my wife's birthday and she made sure that my wife felt special. Experiences like these keep me coming back to your establishment. Great service, great food, great ambiance.

Took my daughter and her spouse for dinner here her birthday. I had never been to this location but the view of Lake Washington and Downtown Seattle was very scenic. Our server, Melissa was absolutely AWESOME! She was friendly and extreme knowledgeable when we asked her questions. The Rib-eyes and Porterhouse we ordered were all spot on med-rare and delicious.

We will not be returning nor will we recommend this restaurant to others. Here’s why, the 20% service charge. Then we are taxed on that service charge. So you have hiked up the price because of (what we were told) the city of Seattle makes the restaurant do it. The manager said to us that she couldn’t remove the 20%. This conversation took place before we had ordered our dinner. We will eat somewhere else that doesn’t make you pay for a 20% service charge. So blackmail is not a good thing for a restaurant. We should have left right then and there. Never again!

Exceptional service, thank you Macy. A very enjoyable, special family dinner. Tried the vegan options and I was very impressed. The rest of the family tried salmon and roasted chicken. All of the food was cooked to perfection. Appetizers... very good! Vegan tofu app, so good!!!

Our visit at Daniel’s exceeded our expectations. Service was impeccable, and the food to die for. While for us it will be for special date nights since it is a bit pricey, we will be back.

Always love Daniels. Have been disappointed in the overcooked asparagus on the last two visits - even after mentioning it being overcooked on a previous visit.

Will be back, just won’t order this again.

My wife and I come to Daniel's at Leschi fairly often on special occasions, and they have yet to disappoint. This time we both had the 8oz. Filet Mignon with bearnaise sauce; they were to die for. Be sure to save lots of room, because the dessert portions here are VERY generous. I had chocolate hazelnut ice cream and my wife had the deep dish chocolate chip cookie. They were delicious, but neither of us could finish.

Our server was very polite and attentive without hovering or being obsequious.

It's a tad on the pricey side but really no more so than any other high quality steakhouse in town, and the view of Lake Washington is a bonus you don't get at too many other places in Seattle.

Nice place but the food was overpriced for the quality and quantity. The steak was exceptional but everything else was blah.

The cream Brulee wasn't creamy enough. The ambience can be cleaned up a little and the interiors can be more customer inviting. Also, it would be nice to have some smooth jazz as background music.

This used to be a gem of a brunch spot. This last visit was very disappointing, the staff was inattentive, we had to ask multiple times for water and bread to start. The food arrived 50min later and was cold and greasy. To top it off they required 20% service charge and there was no manager around to discuss. We ended up running late to our next appointment and will never return. Sad to see what poor management has done to once a lovely brunch place with amazing view, food and service.

Service needs improvement. Even with a reservation I had to wait at least 15 mins, also a long wait between being seated and being approached by wait staff, the bill was calculated incorrectly resulting in another wait.

The table by the window was lovely, the food was good, and free parking was greatly appreciated.

The service was not up to our usual expectation for an experience at Daniel’s. Having an included 20% service fee leaves little option to express dissatisfaction. The service fee is not the option of the restaurant but a govt mandate, but still. Having to pay separately for each soda is odd. While influenced by the new soda tax, cmon. In the future, we’ll stay in Bellevue.....

Awesome place to go for a special occasion. I say special occasion because it is pricey. Food is the best. Had filet. Melt in your mouth delicious . View is spectacular. The only thing that was up setting was it was freezing cold in the dining room. I wished I'd had a parka to put on. It got pretty uncomfortable that when it was time for desert I asked my hubby if we could just go. I couldn't stand it any longer. I really wanted the chocolate chip cookie too!

I had been a long standing customer but haven't been back since you implemented the 20% gratuity to be included in the price. My family and I decided to try Daniel's again since it had been our go-to restaurant for special occasions previously. We were disappointed, the area we were seated was freezing as we didn't have dinner until 8:00. Our waiter was nice, but seemed to disappear off and on. Our appetizers were cold and not cooked enough. Steaks were good, but overall, not up to the standard it once was. With the 20% added, your wait staff's attention to detail has lapsed, even our children said, it wasn't like when you used to bring us. They were to be your future customers, but probably not now.

Honestly, brunch/lunch was less than expected, for the price, and after frequenting the Bellevue and Seattle Daniels locations.

I will say that 1/2 our party was 15 minutes late to our reservation; completely our fault, thank you for the coffee service to those waiting. There were only 3 -5 tables max occupied during our visit.

To be fair, I didn't comment to the server or manager at the time of the visit and I haven't been to the other locations for the lunch menu. And I have heard good things about dinner at the Leschi location. It is a beautiful view.

Not my favorite dinging experience at Daniel's. I usually go to Bellevue location. Tried Leschi for dinner. Would not recommend going here for dinner. They are not at the top of their game at this location....and its very basic. Took forever to get our meal because they could not cook my steak properly.....probably had to wait an hour for a restaurant that probably had 5 other parties dining. Wont be coming back to this location again.

We were seated quickly but our server didn't come by for 10 minutes...but once we got our orders in, things improved. Until the special dessert arrived- which tasted great- but there was some plastic wrapping that somehow got in the dessert. The server responded quickly and Kay the manager comped the drinks and side dish. I'd give it one more try because the food was good.

I was surprised that the high priced steaks was not grass-fed and the salmon dish was farmed salmon. The food tasted very good and was prepared well but I was expecting that the origins of the food would be better. We had gift cards from the Holidays but I would not be going back.

All of us ordered from a wide selection of entrees, the appetizer , teriyaki beef was great, my scallops perfect. One of us ordered hamburger with fries , he said it was the best he ever had, it wasn’t on the dinner menu but they accommodate him. Lobster salad very good. The view outstanding , my favorite restaurant .
