My expectations were not met. First time there. The decor was very tired. The furniture was not that comfortable. We waited a long time between courses. The wait staff were nice, but needed new uniforms to look tidy. The food was good but not worth the price we paid. The coctails were good. So disappointed, was expecting fine dining.

Everything about our dinner was wonderful except for the two couples sitting next to our table (we had outside seating). They were very loud - my husband could not hear me speaking with him. Of course, that is nothing your restaurant can control. Otherwise, everything was excellent!

Butter for bread was rock hard. Appetizer took a long time to arrive ( more than 25 minutes for 4 bacon wrapped scallops). Steak was requested mid rare and served rare. Butter for baked potato rock hard. Waiter didn’t come back to check on us for a long time after our entree was served. Air temperature very warm, no air conditioning seemed on.

First time out since March. Staff clearly had been well trained (masks, space awareness, one use menus, etc), distancing measures in seating visible, food as always, excellent.

We came here on a weekday and sat outside for lunch. The food was great and the server was attentive and polite. The food was good as always. Our only feedback is that they don’t have individual table shade umbrellas (even though the tables have umbrella holes). There is only a giant awning that covers the entire area. The server said he would extend it provided all the other diners agree. We didn’t want to have the other diners bothered so we told him to never mind. We wanted to sit outside for social distancing reasons and enjoyed the sun but made it a short lunch. So bring sunblock and sunglasses if you sit outside as the deck for very warm in the direct sun!

Love this restaurant, but it's pretty pricey, so I wait for the Costco gift card sale. Great steaks (I cannot make my own steaks taste this good!) and with COVID-19, it's a nice quiet meal. Great service too!

Great outdoor seating area. Felt that everyone was seated at a comfortable distance. Friendly and attentive. Great night out, particularly after having not been in a restaurant for five months. We will be back soon. The only downside was a limited menu, however I can’t fault Daniel’ s for this.

Service was great it was nice to be able to reserve a table outside of course the view was beautiful. The wedge salad was very small considering it is $13 and we ordered popcorn shrimp and calamari which were kind of flavor less although the sauce that was served with it was good.

Overall the experience was amazing. I called in advance to make sure we would be sitting outside as we were celebrating my mother in law’s 83rd Birthday. Our only issue was that the table we were at was the only table on deck directly hit by the sun. With her age under consideration I would have liked the option to wait for one of the tables that were rapping up. We made it work k she had a great time so I am extremely appreciative for the experience & the great dinner.

Terrific service and great food. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us after we had to interrupt our original reservation for my wife's birthday. We came back five months later and they provided all of the special touches to make us feel like it was her special day. A special thank you to Kay the GM for making this night possible.

Another lovely dining experience at Daniel’s. From being greater as we entered to the final goodnight the staff is friendly and efficient.

I will say the last 3 times I have been to Daniels I am not as impressed...which is disappointing. This used to be our go to for special occasions but our steak was over cooked and it just wasn’t great. Really too bad

Had a reservation for outdoor dining and they didn’t honor it. Said that when you book a reservation online and chose outdoor dining it is just a preference and not guaranteed. Wish I would have known that when I booked my reservation because o never would have gone there. Both steaks were well over done and they forgot our sides. Interior is very dated. Sad to see such a well respected establishment lose its luster. Unfortunately, won’t be coming back after that price and lack of service.

I understand covid has impacted restauraunts but lowering quality and raising prices wont bring back customers. Two salads, two chowders and a halibut lunch were 223 bucks. Wont be back.

We've been to the Leschi Daniel's location several times and the early evening view out to Lake Washington is just stunning! Though I'm advised to not always choose the biggest steak, there is no way to pass up the 30oz of pure taste sensation that the Bone-in Rib-eye brings. A wonderfully seasoned perfect medium rare, and every bite so incredibly juicy! Went with the garlic mashed potatoes which are just fluffy goodness! Started with a Ceasar salad the we shared and paired with a nice house Merlot. This meal was a delight from start to finish. My son tried the Steakhouse Scampi, some beautifully prepared jumbo prawns. He really enjoyed them, I may give them a try next time! I just appreciated how they were plated. Surf and Turf for the win! Servers were pleasant, acknowledged the special events we were celebrating, and making for a lovely evening out!

Daniels has alwayS been a family favorite for years! After our 3rd attempt of reservations, we finally got in there for our 30th anniversary dinner and it was nothing short of fabulous! Delicious food and wine, fast friendly service and a special table for us. They did have to add a 20% service fee which we knew about due to COVID,. A little sticker shock when the bill came and it was $486 for two! I guess we kinda expected that and thank god we had $300 in gift cards for the down payment!! Whew! Spendy nite out for us. But come on..both our steAks were $80 a piece! Oh well, it was worth it! Even the $14 scoop of coconut ice cream was tasty!

It was great, and felt very safe as far as Covid concerns. All staff and servers were masked, and all clientele was as well except for when you were eating and drinking at your table. Lovely views from the patio.

We always come for special occasions. The taste of my Filet was a little off, although the met was tender. I added A1 sauce, which I never have in the past as the taste is usually amazing.
I also added salt to my mashed potatoes. My husband liked his ribeye with A1 sauce, as well. While the food did not meet my expectations this time, we enjoyed our time and will return. Hopefully the taste was a one off.

I have eaten at Daniels Broiler before but my guest had not. It was only lunch but it was her birthday. I was asked if it was a special occasion when I made the online reservation and so I expected there to be some; modest of course, level of fanfair for her birthday but there was none. Last year at Saltys they at least put a few pieces of "happy birthday" confetti on the table but Daniels did nothing. Don't ask if you don't really care. The food was good as expected, the ambiance was so so, overall I could have got more for my money somewhere else. Dissapointing.

This was our go to place for celebrations so very excited to head there for our anniversary. While I understand the distancing and such the food was delicious. I was sad that the dessert menu didn't include creme brulee but that was fine as we were already full. What I did notice was the noise level, when we first got there there was only 1 other person at a table, but even though the bar area was closed there must have been people there as they were so loud I couldn't have a conversation with my husband! It was like we were at Red Robin! Then the service, absolutely sad. Our server was just slow...slow in taking orders, we were never asked if we wanted another drink. Had to ask for the dessert menu. Since there were no table cloths the water made a mess on the table so just looked dirty/wet/messy. Not sure we'll be headed here for the next anniversary but as I said. It's been a tradition since we were dating but just overall not impressed.

We had Ahi appetizer, tough and appeared to be not fresh.
Wife had halibut for entree. Tough and not flaky. Appeared to be not fresh as well.
Steak: filet was good.
Great veggies: steamed asparagus.
So, in the days of Covid, it appears food is being used from the freezer and the quality suffers.

We opted for outdoor seating since we are nervous about eating inside during the pandemic. The heaters were not on when we got there (there was another table already seated outside). And when they were turned on, it barely made a difference. I noted it was our anniversary, they could have had the table set up for us. Not enough social distancing on the tables either.

I have to start this review first by saying the food was spectacular. The steak was perfection! The service however was absolutely atrocious, at such a high price tag having to wait 20-30 minutes for drinks everytime, while dirty dishes sat stacked at the end of our table is just unacceptable. The hostess was very snippy, our server Cramer gave the absolute worst service, checking on us every 30 minutes at most. He brought us dessert menus then disappeared for 34 minutes without even taking our empty drinks and asking if we would like another. Fast food service with a fine dining price tag. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
