So my last experience with Daniels was at their Leshi location and was truly a awful experience but I wanted to give them another shot. So we went last night to the Lake Union location and it was truly a wonderful experience. It was exactly how I expected it to be. Like how I remember from years ago. I highly recommend having dinner here especially outside if you can handle the sun on you. Look forward to go back in the near future.

Daniels' outdoor patio is starting to age and could use some TLC, thus the overall ambience and experience does not map to the high price point.
Also, at this price point I find it pretty tacky to let you know when you sit down that your table has only been reserved for 2 hours. In all my years of dining out that has never happened to me, even during COVID. For a table for 4 we averaged $200 per person, so the 2 hour comment was very off putting and makes me not want to return or to recommend Daniels's to a friend.
Our server Jeanette truly made our entire evening. Out of all experiences I’ve had amongst the Daniel’s locations, last night was exceptional. We’ve had a few poor customer service experiences lately but Jeanette reminded us exactly why we started going in the first place. We hope to have her as our server every time!

I've loved your steaks for 18 years, but not thrilled with the addition of gravy to the ribeye. Really took awayrom the natural great flavor of your meat and the seasoning and cooking process.

We went to celebrate our 45th Anniversary and our friend's 39th anniversary. Dinner was delicious and our waitress was fabulous!

Excellent all around. Upon our arrival seeing we had someone who was unable to get around without her scooter, we were placed at a table with easy access snd a lot of room to move. Our server Jordan was top notch. Friendly and engaging. We had one guest who has celiac disease. Each time we had a question Jordan would go back to the kitchen to ask questions. His food suggestions were spot on. The Kurabota pork was tender with a delicious sauce, the bacon wrapped scallops were tasty, popcorn shrimp was a great way to start the meal and that lavender martini was heavenly.

Our server was casual, knowledgeable, and fun. The all he tuna appetizer was to die for, as it was the coconut dessert. Everything in between was very tasty, although the steaks were not quite the wow experience I was hoping for.

Went here to celebrate graduation. They were very accommodating and sat us by the windows when we requested. Our server answered all our questions about the menu, wine, etc. and we’re very knowledgeable and friendly. Great location for a special occasion meal.

Great wine list (though this wasn't handed out--presumably COVID related). Great steaks, great views. Menu could maybe use a couple rotating specials for variety sake.

Tiny booth that was super uncomfortable. No sommelier. And 80$ steaks. Enough said. Our server was sweet though.

Generous portions of meat & fish - well prepared. The are willing to split the salads into two plates. You definitely pay for what you get.

Server implied that filet mignons were rarer than most are usually rated, so we ordered medium well rather than medium. Turned out to be what I would call well done - very dry. Waste of $500 for family of four. Have had much better for half the price at Jaks. Not going back.

We celebrated my husband's 30th bday here and between the staff and the amazing view we had the best time!!!
The food was on point aswell, it's just after being at a different restaurant/steak house and the amount t of food we got there compared to the amount we got here for the same price that's the only reason we didn't not give it 5 stars.
But other than that we loved everything else about it.

Used to be an amazing place, but did not recover. They need to hire more experienced servers. One of the folks in the party did not get a good steak. Took $5 for each coke refill.

I was very excited to take my mother to Daniel’s Broiler for her birthday. She traveled from out of town and we don’t get a lot of time together, especially since COVID, so this was a big night out. I placed in the reservation notes that this was a special occasion. Not. One. Person. wished our table a happy birthday. There was no complementary recognition in any way. I asked at the beginning to course our dinner out and it was anything but short of rushed. We asked to split both a soup and a salad and both came out not split nor with additional plates or cups; so I had to request and the split myself at the table. Mis en place for a fine dinning restaurant was non existent. I shouldn’t have to ask for more silverware or my table to be cleared before my next course shows up. Overpriced, mediocre food. I wanted a white for a combo steak and lobster and told the server I thought a viognier might work but wanted to talk to a somm. The somm never came over and told the server my choice was fine. I would’ve spent money on the wine tonight but couldn’t even get anyone over to our table to discuss options. The best part of a steak and lobster dinner was the line cook’s vegetables. Those out shined the proteins. So disappointed. Charging almost $400 for a two top dinner with minimal service is a disappointment. This is not a fine dining experience nor is this adequate for special occasions.

I do not like that not only was 20% added for gratuity but stated that it was kept by the company not my server and that my sever got a commission based on sales. I always leave much more than 20%.

WOW! What an experience. I had the Steak in the bone and it was amazing! The fat just melted in your mouth. Although they were delicious, I wouldn't recommend getting the shrimp with it. It's only two pieces. My girlfriend had the lobster tail and that was amazing as well. The staff is very professional and gives great recommendations. I definitely recommend this place.

We hadn’t been there in 8 or 9 years. We have very nice memories from past visits but on this occasion for my wife’s birthday, it was fair at best. To start, I had notified the restaurant that we were celebrating a birthday. No big deal I guess, but they didn’t acknowledge why we were there despite asking ahead of time why were there. Then we hen we were seated, we were told that we had a time limit! It doesn’t make sense to me to start an evening like that; it made us feel pressured to “get in and get out.” Next, the menu was weak. Extremely pared down from the last time we were there. We both ordered steaks, expensive steaks, and both were over cooked. The atmosphere was loud and we had a family with a couple toddlers nearby that were unruly and out of control. It was not exactly the relaxing evening I thought it would be. Lastly, the restaurant has a mandatory 20% “service charge!” Essentially a forced gratuity. All said and done, meal, drinks, and the service charge, the bill was almost $400 for mediocre food, mediocre service, loud atmosphere, and the stress of running up to our time limit. This visit reminded me of why I like El Goucho so much. For $200 a plate, I expect a to more. Daniel’s has lost my business for good.

Enjoyed the view, had a widow seat. server was OK nothing special. She took good care of us. Price of food did not meet quality of it, presentation look good but missing something. Had not been in a while. So I was a little disappointed.

The view was amazing we got to watch a seaplane take off. The food was amazing! My steak was perfect. The baked potato was hot this time. The lobster was succulent with the butter warmer staying on the whole time. Our server Molly was amazing. She knew when not to disturb our convo and perfect timing when we needed help. The plates were cleared promptly. Overall great night and restaurant to celebrate our 30th anniversary.
The only complaint is that we thought we were parked at their parking lot to find a $50 ticket. 😞
