Have not been back since they closed during quarantine. Sat on the water and enjoyed a really well done cocktail, and great entrees. Their steaks are fantastic, but for $80-95 wish they were a little bit more creative than the old stand by of prime beef with butter. It’s 2020, change up the traditional steak restaurant to bring in a more younger crowd.

I think our waiter had a bad night or was spread to thin. We had the following issues.
Never offered a wine list.
left the salad and appetizer plates on table for a long time after we had finished with them then brought dinner and had no place to put anything.
We ordered 2 glasses of wine to have with dinner, they showed up about half way thru dinner.
Brought us our bill which was correct, but then ran our Card on someone else's check and brought that bill for to us to sign. So we had to get that corrected.
The food view was good.

We were greeted at the front door and seated promptly at a lovely window table.
Maria was our waitstaff and performed wonderfully by first offering a starter and drink. She was knowledgeable about the options available in the wine and drinks - we started with the 10 year old Whistling Pig Rye in a Manhattan. My husband had the classic Caesar salad while I had the beet, arugula with goat cheese salad - Yum! Dinner was the grass fed filet mignon with broccolini followed by the peach slices with a cupcake size butter cake and just the right amount of vanilla ice cream to share.
Our water was replenished frequently with dishes whisked away as needed.
Jen stopped by our table to check on our dining experience. We chatted. We found her delightful, warm and friendly. Enjoy the Dervish in concert!
For our date night, the dining at Daniel’s was perfect! We will come back another time.

Too expensive for the food quality offered. Staff shows a not so welcoming attitude towards foreign people who speak with an accent, who don’t dress stylish.

The only issue we had was how long it took for our check to be rung, otherwise everything was outstanding. Very impressed with the waiters menu knowledge and recommendations. The drinks were a perfect combination of sweet and tart. I loved the view from the windows as well.

It was very expensive. My 8oz Filet mignon wasn’t very flavorful or tender. My son had the Delmonico & it was good but not worth the amount paid. The last time we came 3 Yrs ago it was better. I wish for the amount it had been phenomenal. The upside I had a great evening & conversation with my son.

after arriving 10 minutes early we were seated 15 minutes later then our reservation. and then we were seated in a heavy traffic area for the wait staff.
For the price, I could have been made happier with better seating location, and more punctual seating.

It was nice to sit by the fireside, table wasn’t ready even though I made reservations through here, but was able to get photos taken with my daughters. Didn’t like the fact all parking was Vallet.

We had the filet mignon, lobster, and prime rib. The filet mignon had a little burnt flavor but was raw in the middle. The lobster tasted good and was quite large. The prime rib was also too rare but had a good flavor.

The mandatory 20% on top of their hiked prices made a minimal meal expense of $120 per person seems quite overpriced. Service was fine. Value has gone down for the prices they charge +20%. Won't be going back where I don't have a say in the tip and$60 for a piece of salmon and $75 for a small steak.

Service was poor- it took over an hour between being served an appetizer and main course. Numerous excuses about a mistake in the kitchen but no explanation. Steak was overpriced an unremarkable in seasoning and flavor.

An excellent meal at an excellent location. The views were especially good since the rains stopped. My wife enjoyed the king crab and she thoroughly enjoyed it. My filet (Piedmontese) was one of the most tender I have ever enjoyed, and, I normally have 2 a week at various places. Highly recommend.

Came here for a belated Valentine’s Day dinner. Pretty much what you would expect from a high end steak house. Ambience was a bit old fashioned and stuffy, not really our style, but my partner wanted a good steak, which she got. Service was great, lovely views of the boats on the lake and all the food was very good. But expensive. Cocktails were so-so, wine was very good.

Service was great but we were placed one foot away from the other tables beside us. It was so close I could not talk to my husband because it felt like everyone could hear our conversation and I didn’t want to disturb other customers.

Went on a date here for Valentine's Day, and food and service was amazing! A little pricey, but well worth it in the end. Highly recommend!

Honestly as a seattle native this is sad.
I grew up with Daniels as a staple but the overall cost for what you get was shocking!
Beyond over priced for what you get.
Not to mention they sat us at a table that our legs were unable to fit under. No joke I’m 5’10” slender female and I’m the one that asked to be moved. We then watched them sit countless couples at these short tables - all also struggling.
Two steaks and a bottle of wine 400 dollars. Nothing that QFC wine dept and Costco steak couldn’t solve for 50 dollars. On top of that our reservation was 30 mins late.
That being said the service staff was kind and great. Clearly over extended...

Service was good, steaks and mashed potatoes were delicious. There was no background music like some other steak houses have. Live piano music goes a long way with ambiance.

Food and service were great for Valentine’s Day. The parking situation is much to be improved upon. There is paid parking lot but the parking app doesn’t work for the lot and there isn’t any other way to pay, which results in being forced to use valet or park far away. The table we received was very small in size and in height.

A beautiful view ialways enhances the experience of a nice restaurant and Daniel's Broiler on Lake Union does not disappoint in that category, or any other. The food was exceptional quality, perfectly prepared and exquisitely displayed. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find we could carry on a conversation without having to raise our voice at any time. From appetizer to desert the staff showed attention to details without interfering in the romantic experience we had hoped for on Valentine's Day.
