Everything was fantastic. Awesome food and service. Couldn't have a better Seattle anniversary. Thanks to all of you.
Great food, service, and atmosphere!!
As expected. Attentive service, good food not over the top great. Sorry to hear they're closing it down
My wife and I were looking forward to our first visit and Daniel's Broiler. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed. For a steak plate that cost $70 you do not get a vegetable, only a potato side. the steaks were average and good enough, but not for that price. We were expecting to be blown away. Then to top it off, without letting you know you are forced to pay a 20% service charge, and they tax the tip. That made the bill for just the two of us $338. It was a lot for an average meal, and our service did not warrant a $50 tip that was forced on us....wont be back. I can get a better steak almost anywhere at a much more reasonable price
Went there for my birthday dinner. Was disappointed at the dishes we ordered. The $120.00 steak flight came out medium instead of medium rare, lobster was still raw and cold in the middle on the steak and lobster dinner.
Outstanding, as usual! Well worth the price. Friendly staff and very attentive server.
Good food, great service, and parking...in Seattle
Great view coupled with great food.
Our waitress (Maria) is terrific !!!!!
Maria suggested a great appetizer and checked on us regularly.
We had a wonderful time as always. The food is always amazing. Other than the female bartender not knowing how to make a French 75 (I believe she forgot to put any champagne in it.) everything is above standard and a real treat to visit Daniels.
good food and menu, but way overpriced. They have excellent service, but also do the automatic 20% charge, which I'm quite in agreement with yet.
I still think this is a wonderful place to eat but it was a huge mistake, removing the piano from the bar and allowing the piano player to go to the new downtown restaurants? The thing that should have happened is that a New Piano should have been purchased and a new player and the new piano should have gone to the new restaurant and the old piano and player should have remained at the Lake Union location.
New Year’s Eve celebration
Made 10:30 New Years Eve reservations as a treat for my daughter and her friend visiting from New York. The service was embarrassingly bad. It took forever to get our first drink ordered, even longer to get it served. And that was the only drink we ever got.... Then the waiter disappeared for quite awhile before we got to order food, and then the food took forever to get there. We were there for 2 hours; I ordered a second drink which never arrived. We were never offered a dessert menu or coffee. And yet I was automatically charged a 20% service fee- lucky for that waiter because he would have had a hard time getting a tip out of me, especially anything close to 20%!
Everything was great except the price. A very expensive restaurant.
We visited on New Year’s Eve for our anniversary. Having been here before I thought this would be a great choice but unfortunately it was a little disappointing. Granted it was New Year’s Eve so the noise level was probably above average... but we were what felt like, shoved into the corner next to an extremely loud/drunk party. We were Literally yelling across the table to maintain a conversation it was awful... I finally approached the floor manager about moving us to a booth that had opened up and he agreed we could move. It took 10 mins to clear and reset that table before we could move... more time to yell I guess 🤦🏽♀️
Finally we moved, SO MUCH BETTER! Our food arrived quickly after and while it was okay, it definitely wasn’t the best steak I’ve had there (or anywhere to be honest) I ordered Medium Rare, it was medium to medium well and very charred on the edges. We decided not to complain about it bc to be honest, we just wanted to finish and get out of there. Although the booth was better it was still very loud around us and I was painfully watching a couple who has been placed at our old table now yelling back and forth to each other 😕
Overall, for a $350+ night I felt very disappointed and definitely wouldn’t go here again on a night that’s not just an ordinary week day. Too bad as I really loved it here in the past.
We were a bit disappointed, likely it was because it was a busy New Year's Eve but our order was wrong and we did not ever get part of our order. Our server was delightful and he is always professional. My husband's steak was ordered well done and came medium well. We will return of course but I wanted to provide feedback as requested. Thank you for your time.
My daughter and I both ordered the $80 Porterhouse. When they served it, we cut into it to make sure it was cook medium rare on the Strip side of both & they looked great. My mistake was not cutting into the Tenderloin side. I had a few pieces off the strip side & it was very good.
I cut into the tenderloin side & the disappointment started to set it. First, i noticed that the tenderloin side was about half as thick as the strip side. When I cut into the tenderloin side, it was almost beef jerky. I was very disappointed.
Later, our waitress came by to ask how everything was. I said very unenthusiastic, "OK" expecting that if they heard OK for an $80 steak, they'd start asking questions, but no, before I could say anything else, she said "Good" and walked off. Later, a manager came by & asked & I gave him the same unenthusiastic "OK". Again, before I could add anything more. He nodded his head and walked off. It wasn't until we were almost done with dinner & ready to go that the gentleman who was refilling our water & taking away the spent dishes asked how everything was & again I replied "OK" & he asked. I finally was able to tell someone that the tenderloin side wasn't even edible (although it was obvious as I had finished the strip side and the tenderloin side sat there cut down the center only. He apologized and asked if I wanted to speak to the server or the manager, but since neither seemed to care earlier that I was not thrilled & we were both ready to go, I didn't want to spend any more time. Our server had already taken our card to pay the bill & would be back momentarily anyway. I paid nearly $250 for 2 dinners and drinks for an OK meal. I would think that a restaurant of this caliber wouldn't accept "OK". I was wrong. I should have taken the time to say something, but we were past ready to go & didn't want to focus on the disappointment for NYE.
I expected more from Daniel's after our experience at the original Daniel's.
The food and service were excellent, but the noise level was so bad that I was unable to have a normal conversation with my dinner date. We spoke to management and they offered to move us to the lounge after we were almost done with our meal. Very disappointed.
Steak was spectacular. Atmosphere was great for my husbands 40th birthday. Overall great experience.
We had an amazing meal and overall experience. Service was top notch, location is perfect!
Was looking forward to a fabulous Prime Rib dinner, but it was only so, so on Daniels the last day of 2018. It lacked flavor, and to be honest, our impression was the 'end cut' we ordered was actually not an end cut at all, and just 'doctored' to appear as if it was ….
Outside of that, the evening was great ~ which is why we chose Daniels specifically.
20 percentage add not good. Good way overpriced for value. Would not go back.
Everything was great from beginning to end. The food, atmosphere and service were all outstanding. Will go again.
Awesome staff especially Min and Corryn fillet minion amazing cocktail awesome and strong oysters from heaven..
We were disappointed in our experience for our 25th Anniversary dinner. My wife had the 12 oz. Filet Mignon, and the steak didn't have much flavor. It was dry on the ends and tasted mostly like a heavy exterior char. Her baked potato was also only luke warm. The service and the view were great, but it didn't make up for the meal. Even the bread was disappointing with way too much salt on the butter, especially for someone who doesn't use much salt. Overall, not a great experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our first, but not last visit. Our waiter Richard was a wonderful guide through the night!
Had better for less money, service was great, food was good, but I've had better for less
Great food - great service - perfect for a special occasion.
Daniel’s never disappoints! The food and service is top notch! The waitstaff was attentive and our dinner was spectacular.
We typically have stellar experience at Daniel’s but this experience was a departure from the norm. The service was quite slow, despite it not appearing terribly busy compared to other occasions. The server was nice but often forgot to bring things to the table or would be pulled away by other tables mid conversation. The food was quite inconsistent with some of our guests steaks coming out I consistently cooked and incorrect requiring multiple returns to the kitchen, this has never occurred before. On return, the manager who brought the food said nothing and just set the food down. They were nice enough to adjust the bill for food that was not able to be prepared to order. However a member of our party essentially did not get to eat for the duration of the stay, other than appetizers or sides. It was especially disappointing given we were present to celebrate a special occasion. I am hoping this will not become a normal experience for Daniel’s, which is normally quite good.
I had the New York steak and my wife had the lobster.
Really nice place to take someone for a special occasion for great food and view
Salmon was too chard. Booth was small. They tack on 20%. It was ok but nothing special and not a good value at all.
Unusually food and service were not as good as previous visits
My husband and I often go to Daniel’s broiler for a special occasion dinner. We didn’t enjoy our dinner as much as we usually do. We spent about $450 for two people and it wasn’t worth it.
We were there for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed it the food, the atmosphere, and the service. This was our first time for brunch and this is definitely on the list for another special occasion brunch.
The carry over Louie salad from Chandlers was not up to snuff, especially the small amount of seafood. The brunch offerings were varied. The view was fantastic. We enjoyed all the Christmas sweaters other guests were wearing.
Had reservations for dinner with my husband & sister-in-law. We were seated promptly and then left with our menus for nearly 30 minutes before anyone approached to provide any type of service. We ordered a bottle of wine which came quick enough after the initial wait. Our dinners arrived in a reasonable amount of time once ordered however both beef meals were undercooked from what was requested. They were taken back to be corrected but in the amount of time it took for them to be cooked correctly and returned to us the meal that actually arrived as ordered was nearly eaten in it's entirety. No consideration or apologies were issued for the mistake. We ordered dessert which we thought might be "comped" due to the initial inconveniences but it was not.
I will not be back to any Daniel's Location as our last meal at Daniel's Bellevue was equally as disastrous. $400 for a bottle of wine, 3 entrees and one dessert is way too much for a long wait, poor service and improperly prepared meals.
Very disappointing experience. I requested my steak be prepared medium rare and it arrived room temperature and overcooked(no pink in its center). The baked potato was also room temp. The waiter offered to bring me a new steak. We told him when seated we were on a tight schedule so waiting for a new meal was not feasible. This for a $65 steak.
