Daniel's Broiler is the only major Seattle steakhouse serving USDA Prime Beef exclusively.
Great service by James!
My family and I are frequent guests so you must be good!!! Grandchildren (teens) love it
We loved our experience and the food was amazing! My husband used to tout his favorite steak was from Shari’s, not surprisingly he now says this is the best food he’s ever had. The Piedmontese steak was perfect and the chicken was exquisitely savory. We will be coming back.
Excellent evening! Excellent Filet Mignon. Open table lists Daniel's as under $100. Perhaps during happy hour, but otherwise dinner will run $100+ per person. Our dinner for 4 after tax and tip was $520. We had one cocktail each.
Excellent Service, and the food was exquisite! Can't wait to return.
Food was cooked to perfection and service was the best we had in a long time, they treated us with respect
I wasn’t impressed. Waitstaff seemed really on edge, like everyone running around all at the same time trying to resolve some kind of issues or something. It wasn’t pleasant to watch. We wanted a nice romantic dinner. Not the place for that. Food portions were large, although for the value I’ve had better food. In general I don’t think I will be dining here again.
Been here many times, this time was a dinner date with my boyfriend. always great service and food was great.
Celebrating a milestone birthday over lunch, my guest and I were delighted with the warm, inviting service, delicious menu options, comfortable seating, and spectacular views.
The food was fantastic, as usual for the steaks. This time I was pleasantly surprised by the starter which was prawns in some delicious, spicy sauce. Wonderful steak was the reason we went there, but also the starters are definitely worth it.
Dinner was superb and we were given a table with a view of Lake Washington and Mt.Rainier. spectacular!
Everything is superbly prepared. From drinks to appetizers to main courses. World Class quality.
OUTSTANDING steak!!! and remarkable swordfish.
Chris provided the best service that I can recall.
He also recommended an excellent wine.
Many thanks to Chris and the chefs, for making this such a fantastic evening.
The food was fabulous. We had a wonderful window table with great views of lake Washington and Seattle. We enjoyed a glass of wine and really tasty Calamari and Shrimp in the bar before our dinner. The service was top notch. We will definitely return soon.
Incredible food and great service. If you’re on a tight budget, you might want to consider some place else, but you get what you pay for.
What is the big deal about the food at Daniels? The steaks were expensive and nothing special. The ambiance is average at best. If you really want a great steak, at the same price, with better ambiance go to El Gaucho. El Gaucho is way better, and if you really want a treat order the Chateaubriand for two.
It could be pecfect dinner for my wife’s birthday if restaurant gives her small birthday chocolate cake which they did last year and year before.
Excellent food, great table by the window and terrific service from James. Thanks
The food was great. Our waitress was odd, and non-responsive to a point where we thought she may have a hearing issue. She would disappear for quite a while and we were left with empty water glasses for long periods of time. We had to call her over more often than we should in a restaurant of this caliber.
As always, our visit was a great dining experience!!
Our server did an outstanding job and the meal was prepared as we requested.
Food was phenomenal , Dungeness crab bisque was the best I've ever had, hands down. We did the filet & lobster tail and the steak stole the show.
We save Daniel's Broiler for all our special occasion events! Truly feel like a couple of Kings when we visit!!!
For my wife’s birthday!
Sad but its not the quality and ambiance from the past. Its the same, but needs to be updated.
The menu was selective from the past, which I did enjoy because its hard to get the old standards, but the quality of food when it arrived was not like it used to be. Thankfully it was a clear day for the view, although I was seated by a wall, my granddaughter had a nice view.
Our waitress was super, very lively and took excellent care of us
Not impressed by the service, will return purely because the food is so good. I don't believe I saw one employee smile, they messed up our reservation and never apologized and sat us anyway. Once sat we noticed most tables were empty so there was no reason to go through hoops concerning a reservation they gave away or noted incorrectly (unclear of what happened). They should have just sat us instead of treating us that our arrival was messing up their whole night of empty tables...
We've been to Daniels Broiler in Bellevue a handful of times and have always found the food and service to be terrific. Steaks are 2nd to none. Nice variety of things to choose from on the menu. All good.
My husband had the rib eye and I had the swordfish. Both were delicious! Try the bbq shrimp for an appetizer, yum! Well he back!
Offering a military discount to our service members would be fantastic.
Specifically indicated in my reservation the occasion was anniversary. The first question I was asked when checking in is what the occasion was! Apparently my message did not come through to Daniel's system! Nothing special was offered to us given when they knew what the occasion was! So why ask for occasion in the first place on both online reservation and at the front desk! Was very disappointing to me in that regards. Other than that we enjoyed a good dinner and the server was very attentive and friendly.
I had called to confirm a certain type of whiskey for a friend..they said yes they have it-when we got there and ordered they said they were out. He then ordered another bev off menu...they were out of that tequila also.
Asked about crab cakes....said took off menu-
The salmon was farmed from another country..not even local and wild-no taste to it..we were hoping to have a new place to attend...vs el gaucho but very disappointed. The steaks had to be sent back for more cooking time..then was too done.....
The whole evening was wonderful. We had arrived early and they sat us shortly there after. Our server was amazing and of course the food was to die for. The view was spectacular. It was an evening to remember.
As usual, Daniel's in Bellevue at the Hyatt didn't disappoint. My filet was cooked to perfection, the waiter and other table staff had impeccable manners and the entire evening was as expected. Had a wonderful birthday celebration!
Great steaks and a nice birthday treat for the birthday boys! Thank you for the window table.
I'm so done with Daniels. Another 40 minute wait to be seated. What good are reservations? Young blond woman at front desk was shockingly rude. Steaks are absolutely top notch BUT....I can find (almost) just as good elsewhere without all the baggage, at half the price, and without having to park a mile underground forced to take two elevators to get there. (we dined 2/16/18 7:45 res)
Our server and the hosts were very polite and helpful. I asked for a window seat in my reservation and we were seated in a great spot. The steaks we're among.the best we have ever had if not the best. We truly enjoyed our special dinner together.
This place is dependably top notch. We shared a salad and filet for the two of us which is our normal choice and it was just the right amount. The Oscar addition really topped it off very well and made a vegetable side not necessary.
It was a great experience. Our service was amazing and the food was nothing short of fantastic. The porterhouse was out of this world.
This was the second time (visit to Daniel’s) that the Maitre’d took forever to handle our reservation (we were on time), left us standing in the middle of a busy thoroughfare, being bumped by waiters, carts and other guests. After more than 5 very uncomfortable minutes a host that had been standing next to the Maitre’d all this time with our menus in hand, took us to a very noisy busy area and our table.
The table was located next to a bussing station with enormous traffic, chairs being carried around and constant interruption by a slew of waitstaff.
While the food is always good the ambiance and service is well subpar.
My next business dinner will be in a different restaurant.
