The manager, Clark, was an absolute delight - so welcoming and professional and our server was really exceptional as well. Sorry we forgot her name - she has long brown hair & was spot on with everything. The food & cocktails were delicious as always.
The prices have gone up considerably and they add a 20% service charge. The fine print says it’s not a tip but the servers get commission. So confusing. The steak is good but I get a steak for about half the price at a local restaurant that is MUCH tastier. It’s just not worth the money anymore.
There was 8 of us in a private room with a gorgeous view. Our server, Simon, was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Everything we ordered was amazing and if we had any special requests, it was met with pleasure.

As usual, the appetizers, the cocktails, the steaks, the desserts, the service, and the attention to detail were 5 star.
Being a regular customer, I know about the 20% surcharge in lieu of a tip. But it was not called out until the AFTER the meal when the bill arrived. I was expecting it so it wasn't a surprise. Note that I usually tip 10-15% when service is good, and more when its even better. Service at Daniels is usually excellent, so I don't have a problem with 20% when the service is excellent, but that just means that I stick with the standard service charge of 20%.
Daniels is good, but not my favorite steak house. The view is the best, and the service is fantastic. The steak is good, not great. It’s very expensive for what you get. The garlic mashed potatoes are bland and have no flavor. The best part was honestly the wedge salad and homemade blue cheese dressing.
Daniel's is a steakhouse. You can't get a better steak anywhere else in my opinion. We had a medley of four ounce steak portions to sample as our meal. They were expertly cooked to perfection and very tender. Every bite was sumptuous and savory. Adding a steak sauce or any other seasoning would have been an insult. We ate the steaks straight up and very slowly to extend the enjoyment of eating at this outstanding restaurant. Every bite of steak just melted in our mouths and made my eyes roll to the back of my head and my body melt into a pool of gratitude. It was an amazing experience. We had a few seafood sides, but they weren't anything to write home about. The prawns added to the steak and the chowder weren't as good as you might find in a restaurant that specializes in seafood. The service was stellar. We felt treated like kings and queens by the whole staff which made us feel a little uncomfortable because we're just common folk from Puyallup. Our waiter, Todd, was amazing. He doted on us our whole stay and made sure we were lacking nothing. His kindness and knowledge of the food was the perfect addition to a great night out together. I had a smile on my face the whole rest of the night. When I woke up the next morning, I was still smiling. If you're in the mood for an amazing cut of steak, this is the place to go. The price is high, but worth every penny. Daniel's Steakhouse. We'll be going back.
Everything was excellent. Service, food and ambience. Only thing, we were seated towards the back, and kept getting a cold breeze from employees going to the back throughout our dinner. Had to put our coats on. other than that, it was great!

We ordered the steaks and Alaskan king crab. Everything was delicious. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée and deep dish chocolate chip cookie. I was looking forward to the dessert especially with the ice cold milk shot but it was more like luke warm milk. That is my only complaint.
Great food. Ordered steaks medium; delivered rare, not even medium rare. They asked if they were properly cooked, and we told them they needed more cooking, and they then cooked them properly. But boy they are overpriced.

I used to come here a lot back in the day and it was incredible. Now the value is far from worth it. I won't ever be coming back.
Waiter did not check in but was very nice appeared he needed more help. The biggest issue is that the steak and lobster was REALLY chewy. Steak was not even as good as I have had at the Outback Steakhouse . I ordered it medium and it was cooked pretty close but the rib eye cut just wasn’t good. Lobster was chewy as well did not taste fresh. A disappointment.
Been dining here since the 90's...proposed to my wife at Daniel's and have spent many great celebrations here. It's nice to see they have expanded the menu to almost pre pandemic volume. I was a little bummed that the bay shrimp salad is no longer made with Maytag blue cheese, the new blue cheese they are using doesn't have as much flavor. But our steaks were ridiculously perfect. I had the SRF and A5 Wagyu filets flight...whoa!!! If you've never been, don't hesitate. There's no better steak house in WA. I've tried every steak house in Bellevue and Seattle, there are some great ones but you won't ever beat Daniel's. Great food, great service. Keep it up!
What an amazing place! The food was superb, our server was great and the atmosphere was perfect.
Food was good, but service was horrible. Waitress and whoever were serving need to learn how to provide at least decent service.

Great atmosphere and view of the city. My wife’s meal was great (fillet MIGNON was superior). My rib eye was very disappointing for the money. It had a lot of gristle and little flavor (maybe an anomaly). Nevertheless I was disappointed with my meal.
This is a great place for special occasions and a romantic dinner
I love Daniels Broiler! Great food great experience. The one thing, the only thing that was off putting is the 20% service fee that you aren’t made aware of until you get your bill. The restaurants in Woodinville started doing this as well awhile back. We stopped eating at those restaurants. Why can’t you just reflect that in the price of your food so we can determine if we really want to pay that much extra for what we’re ordering? I don’t get it. It seems a cheap and sneaky way to get more money from your customers.
We really enjoyed our Anniversary/Christmas dinner at Daniel’s. The service and food were wonderful!

Perfect experience to celebrate two birthdays. Excellent food with great atmosphere and service. We have been going to Daniel's once or twice a year for about 20 years. We have tried other steakhouses but keep going back to Daniel's.

We love Daniel's and whenever we stay at the Hyatt in Bellevue, we enjoy dinner there. Daniel's prides itself on great ambience (21st floor overlooking Bellevue and Lake Washington with the city of Seattle in the background), as well as a comfortable classy setting.
The second quality is good food, I'd would say mostly very good, though it is rather expensive. If you're intending to enjoy a great meal with excellent service (more on that in a moment), you can accept the price of food when you get value for your dollar.
The service here is normally top notch with the server often checking back with diners to make sure everything is a 10.
We had our last meal at Daniel's the day after Christmas. As a caveat, there was a significant snow earlier in the day, and of course, the never-ending Pandemic was also taking its toll on staff and perhaps affected our meal. Our server was pleasant but became distracted by several other tables that he appeared to take a special interest in conversation with, and we only saw him twice after taking our order. In addition, our filet was undercooked the first time it was served, and then came back five minutes later charred and a bitter. We didn't finish our meal, and normally would have said something, but decided to move on. The rest of the meal, lobster, artichokes, potatoes, and bay shrimp salad were excellent, so I'm not judging Daniel's on our filet alone.
Our server never asked us at the end how we enjoyed our meal, but just left the check and thanked us for coming. I expect a little more considering how much we're spending and Daniel's reputation.
I'd still recommend Daniel's, and plan to return, but expect they'll make the adjustments next time we're in.

This is my first time of using the OpenTable service to make the reservation. Everything went smooth. The food is great, and the service is great. The menu prices are a bit pricey but that’s expected. Overall we had a good time.
The steak was tough and the lobster was tough. Disappointing for a $400 lunch for two.
Make sure you bring a flashlight because it’s pitch dark and I was barely able to read the menu. Waiter was attentive to replace our drinks but for the price tag I expected a little more friendliness and not to be rushed through our meal. The service was like a fast food restaurant - NEXT!!! I paid for 3 people 270$ and we had no alcohol with that order. So for that price, although the meat was Devine it was not worth it and I won’t be back anytime soon.
It was a disappointing experience! The food was mediocre and lots of fat in the meat. Both steaks and the lamb chops were too fatty for a hefty price. Service was very poor! Waiter didn’t refill drinks or asked if we want another one. The light in our table went out and took the staff a while to get it fixed. Didn’t offer extra light or candles so we can see what we are eating. Very disappointed for a $600 meal for 4. Not coming back!!!
