   It was quite cold in there with the air conditioning, even though I have a sweater on. Other than that Jeffrey, our server was wonderful with explaining our options and the benefits/differences to each item. Chris kept our water glasses full! Never below 1/2 until towards the end.

   Food and service was wonderfu! Go at dusk to enjoy nice views of the sun setting. Only issue worth mentioning is they tack on a mandatory 20% which they say doesn’t go to wait staff so you have to tip on top of that. Almost like paying 40% on top of your bill so be prepared for that unexpected (at least to us) fee.

   Wife and I had dinner with another couple on 8.1.2024 in Bellevue. Appetizers were fine, drinks were fine, steaks were very underwhelming. My rib-eye was fatty and not easy to chew. Other couple both had rib-eye steaks and there's seem to be better. Most disappointed in the Filet Mignon that my wife ordered. She never complains and would never send anything back, but her steak was undercooked. She was even more disappointed in the taste. It didn't seem to be seasoned, and when I tried a bite as well, I said the exact same thing -- where's the taste? Lastly, I noticed an ugly bug crawling across the table. I trapped the bug under my water glass and a member of the staff came by with our appetizers. I quietly shared the issue with him, and surprisingly, his comment was that they had a problem with these little bugs lately. He dutifully took it away and another staff member brought me a new water glass and included a simple sorry. I would have expected some type of consolation (complimentary dessert, perhaps?) for the inconvenience. Was looking forward to an exceptional evening, as I have had in the past at this location, but really left disappointed.

   One of the biggest highlights of our experience at Daniel’s this time was our server Roy. He was professional, but personable and very attentive. In addition, Linny or Lilly was also fantastic at refilling water and just making sure that the table was as it should be. Weird that we were not offered bread, though, when all of the other tables around us were. The food, as always, has a great presentation, and the taste is practically unbeatable. My son had the ahi, and it was definitely the best of the three dishes. My husband and I had steak, which was cooked to perfection with the 1800°broiler, but the ahi won the night. I would say that if you are noise averse, this might not be the restaurant for you. It was manageable, but there were a number of times where I found myself struggling to pay attention to what other people at the table were saying, given background noise and kitchen clatter. I must admit, as somewhat frequent Daniel‘s flyers (more so pre-pandemic), I am stunned by the current pricing. It has gone up exponentially over the years. Highly recommend the once-a-year Costco gift card sales for $64 (for $100). Overall, a great evening!

   Service was excellent but rushed. Felt like they wanted us in and out even though they knew it was our 48th weddin anniversary. The lobster was tough and they brought another one. The steak was mediocre. Of course, we didn't step up to Wagyu beef. The staff was delightful. We went for a special treat and will likely not go back into the restaurant. Will try the bar.

   Food and all others were good enough before they charged me a few dishes I didn’t ordered. My waiter apologized it instantly of course. But little disappointing to leave while witnessing receptionists enjoying their conversation.

   Great meal. Awesome view. Waitstaff was on point. A great place to dine for a special occasion.

    Porterhouse is way too salty. Both side bones in the Rib-eye are black, and the test burned.
