Daniels is a seattle staple. Always delicious. The lobster this time was over cooked and over seasoned with paprika. It was salty. Everything else was delicious.

Outrageously expensive for slightly above average food. This is not the Daniels I remember from a few years ago. If you're going to spend more than $100per person, there are many other restaurants with better food and cocktails.

Too expensive for the evening. Too many tips added. This will be my last visit to this venue. Many other places without a 20% charge for eating there plus tip for waiter.

Service was fine. Steak was overcook, recook the steak and center is completely cold. Not worth the money rather go to a different steak house.

Mother’s Day Dinner was ICE COLD for our whole party. The excuse was that the whole floor is run by one air handler, and the staff were hot, so they couldn’t turn the airflow down. We ate our incredible steaks as quickly as we could and left without dessert because we were miserable. They deserve a 5 start review, but their HVAC killed the mood…

Service was really good and friendly. Food was very good, although I thought the outside of the steaks were a bit too charred. Requested a table by the window, but got a table across the isle while a table by the window was free during the whole time I was there. Paid way too much money for this experience. Everything was very good, but not worth the price I paid.

So Daniel's Broiler, don't get me wrong, the food was fantastic, but the ambience and service, as far as upscale steakhouses go, was a bit lacking. When I think of any location that boasts 'prime steaks' and exists on the upper floor of a downtown Bellevue high-rise, I think of things like white linen table clothes that are swept off between courses, immediate service from the moment you sit down, and personal attention from a host who is there at the start of each meal to tell you about it. Daniel's Broiler unfortunately had none of this, which was a bummer, because I only go to high end steakhouses on special occasions, and this one happened to be my birthday, something listed on the reservation. After being taken to a private room to be seated, the host then realized that we were in fact *not* part of a party of 8, even though I stated last name and our reservation for 3 people. We were then seated in the main dining room, and watched everyone else around us receive water and bread, and after about 10 minutes and the urge to get up and leave, the server came by to offer us water and ask if we wanted bread instead of just bringing it as they did with everyone else. Dinner went by as expected, and all the food was fantastic, an easy 5 stars there. My rib-eye was sheer perfection, and my wife's Kurobota pork was so good that I didn't even get the chance to try it before she demolished it. In the middle of eating, bussers were clearing prior plates while I'm mid-bite, which to me is just a no-no. Clean between dishes, and let me eat. It's the little things, all service related, coupled with the cost. If I'm dropping $400 on dinner at a steakhouse, I want the service that goes with it. I want the experience. When I go to John Howie or Ascend, I get that, and for the same cost, with equally spectacular food. As we were leaving, there were high school kids dressed for prom also leaving, and that summed it up for me, the steakhouse you go to before prom.

My wife's sister wanted a special place to take us out for her 75th birthday. We hadn't been to Daniel's Broiler in a little over 3 years, but it was a special restaurant for us in the past. We enjoyed the dinner, but our steaks were a bit disappointing. And the Lobster club salad was gone from the menu.

It is just not what it used to be. Prices for steaks are outrageous. Ceasar salads were very bland. Most annoying is the 20% service charge based on the meals and drinks and then it is TAXED by the state! It should be based on a per person service and not taxed if it is truly subsidizing employee wages. What a scam. Dinned at the Bellevue location. If service was on par, they would have asked if we needed a parking validation. Not asked - bad. Sadly, we forgot and that raised our dining experience another $14.00. Be forewarned, the Bellevue location faces the west and the late afternoon - evening sun is VERY bright. While there are shades, some might need sunglasses and heaven forbid if you ask to change tables. It was an inconvenience to the hostess.

Our meals were prepared perfectly and all tasted delicious. A little disappointing to pay extra if you want vegetables. All the wait staff were attentive but not too much. Grifyn was very pleasant and professional and remembered we were there for my husband’s birthday. She brought a special dessert just for him. It was a splurge for us but a great fine dining experience.

Average service in restaurant & excellent service in the bar before our reservation. The filet had to be sent back since it came out rare & medium was ordered. Super loud table next to us definitely impacted our dining experience. Also the air conditioner vent was blowing directly on us which cooled our food prematurely & made us uncomfortably cool. We expected a better experience considering previous dining experiences there & the high costs of the meal. Do not agree with the automatic 20% service charge added. Will not return until that policy is changed.

We got seated early and right as we arrived, top notch! Our server Jeff was fantastic! The scallops were delicious and melted in my mouth. The peppercorn sauce was a very pleasant surprise and very rich. The steaks were , of course, out of this world. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Went for an early dinner on a Thursday night. Not sure if the JV team was in the kitchen and not the varsity squad but all food was off. From the Cajun shrimp app (lacking flavor and over cooked shrimp) to the New York steaks that were under cooked and sent back. We could’ve sent the steaks back a second time (temp on both steaks was still wrong. 20% gratuity automatically added to bill whether your experience was great or poor.

I love Daniels, one of my favorites! This time I tried the lobster and was completely disappointed. The lobsters was mushy, it didn’t have that firm texture lobster has when fresh and done right. Also it was so loaded up with paprika which just ruined the natural taste of the lobster. Total failure in my opinion.
