We were in Seattle for the weekend and tried Out the restaurant. All the steaks were delicious! And the peppercorn crust perfection with the sauce! Cooked to the perfect temperature. Truly enjoyed our dinning experience.
I ordered my steak med-rare and it came out as medium. They did check to make sure. But as I cut into the steak it was a little bit more done than I would like so I traded with my daughter's filet since hers was a little bit more rare. The lobster was the perfect size and very succulent. The drawn butter set up just couldn't keep the flame in to keep it warm. I ordered baked potato and it was only room temp. I love myself some piping hot baked potato. I tried my daughters' mashers and they were room temp as well. The table could've been cleared after our soup and salad but instead they were on the table the whole time until we were done with dinner. My daughter waited for a water refill and got it after she was done with dinner. Best steak for sure. It was our first time dining out as a family for over a year due to the pandemic. It could have been a better experience.

Daniel's is a personal favorite for date night when hubby and I want to splurge, and we have never had a bad experience. The service is impeccable, my water glass never made it more than halfway empty before someone was back to refill it, and the food was phenomenal. Definitely worth the money, and the view from this location is very nice.
Overall great food, but they have increased their prices - we had a lot of sticker shock.

The setting on the 21st floor of the BofA building in Bellevue was very nice. The filet was very disappointing....not very tender, not that flavorful, and completely overpriced!
The dinner for 2, with 2 glasses of wine and 2 filets with a side of mushrooms, 2 wedge salads came to $285.00 before tips. Nor worth one-half of that price.

This place was great. Pricey, so definitely not an everyday thing, but the service was amazing, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was amazing as well. Staff was on top of everything. Husbands steak was cooked to perfection, and my lamb was cooked amazing well. Will definitely go back for another special occasion. Nothing but good things to say about this place.
The views and service were great as expected. I would say the food was average especially considering the price. It would be a go to once and then wouldn’t bother me if I never came back. The portions are a good size we did take some home.

Simply delicious, every visit. Can't wait for the expanded restaurant occupancy to happen so their heavenly prime rib is back on the menu. Meanwhile, we'll have to 'make do' with fabulous steaks and seafood.
Don't be shy about asking your waiter for advice on a wine pairing, either. Some good discoveries to be made.
And the views are spectacular, too.

This was a special, as we were unable to celebrate our 49th and 50th wedding anniversaries, due to COVID-19. I did this to honor my spouse for his birthday (79). Marvin, our waiter was a wonderful, a very polite fellow. Pleased we could share an entrée between us. We are trying to maintain weight, not gain by overeating. We shall visit again. Steaks were a disappointment. Overall food was not top shelf. Service was exceptional but overall experience was not commensurate with cost. Just not the same as a couple years ago when Daniels was on top of their game.

Odd situation with the restaurant adding 20% gratuity for the ownership group that’s not automatically given to the servers. Honestly, that may be the reason I never return.
The information says the ownership holds the gratuity then later bonuses servers on sales... that’s clearly too much going on as guests aren’t made aware how often that happens. I’d rather they increase the price of the products, devote those funds to the bonus they pay and allow the “gratuity” to go immediately to the servers for their service.
I personally tipped above and beyond as I have no idea if my server would ever be provided the “gratuity” that was automatically added to my bill. That leaves a very uncomfortable feeling from someone that’s been in the service industry for many years and also owns a hospitality management company. Just my opinion.

Daniel's Broiler is a wonderful restaurant! Mia our server did an excellent job of taking of my wife and myself.
The food, the service and the ambiance was very good and the steak was cooked perfectly. The 20% service charge which is not a tip is confusing. It's not a tip but the server received 8 1/2 percent of it??? So do I back that out the 20% to calculate a tip, calculate the tip then back out 8 1/2 % Another way you could handle that would be to raise your prices and be up front with it. Would recommend other steakhouse in on the eastside over Daniel's.

We dropped a couple of friendly jokes to the hostess / greeter on our way in and both ladies were cold as ice. I think one even rolled her eyes and was not very friendly. Maybe having a bad day? Our waiter was top notch and overall the food was delicious as to be expected. While looking over the menu I noticed the note about the 20% service fee being included. My wife and I had never seen or heard of this before and were a bit confused. We would qualify as good tippers, but the way it was written was confusing so I asked our waiter about it. His explanation didn't make much sense either and he seemed genuinely annoyed by it. His response and the confusion behind it made me feel pressured to tip above the 20%. I gave another 10% and then with the added tax I realized I had tipped 35%. The meal was $350 for two. We both agreed that although the meal was delicious, it was not worth the confusion about tipping and the general feeling of the workers not being happy about the house taking 20% then paying them a commission. We would likely go somewhere else that offers traditional tipping next time.

First time in restaurant since COVID started. Ribeye and filet minion were extremely tender and delicious. As always, Daniel’s never lets us down. Our favorite restaurant!

The 20% added to the bill was a shock. Our server explained that the servers get 8% commission and the rest goes to the business Won’t go back until this changes. Everything else was 5 stars.
Board Room seating is not ideal, I would not want to sit in that area again.

Steak was mediocre at best this time - prices at Daniel's are always high, but now they are adding a 20% service charge on top - which is fine, we'd normally tip 20%, but it's accompanied with a sob story from the waitress about how she doesn't see any of it so we felt obligated to tip on top of that.
The view is always gorgeous but at these prices we'd rather eat at home.

This is the place for steak and potatoes. I had an exceptional rib eye steak, perfectly cooked and enjoyed half of it the next day and it was still wonderful. They fall short on salad and vegetable selections, very limited desserts as well, but steak is the name of the game here and they do it very well.

Food was amazing. The chocolate cookie baked in a cast iron pan with Vanilla Ice Cream was one of our favorite desserts of all time. Steaks were amazing, quality meat, seasoned and cooked to perfection.
