Daniel Ratings and Reviews
We absolutely love the restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic and made us realize that sometimes in our hard working lives we MUST enjoy life before it’s all gone. It is a lifetime experience to dine from the hands of the master, Daniel. Well done! Romance still exist!!!!
I went there last year for a celebration party for 2, and it was great experience. This year I went there on Valentine’s day, however, the tasting menu was just so so, not worth for $350 per person. The service was ok, I have to ask for Champagne which is included in the tasting menu, instead of serving proactively. Overall, the experience was just so so, not worth for the money.
From the minute we walked in we were wished Happy Anniversary and it continued throughout the evening. We were seated at a beautiful table side by side so we were able to lookout onto the restaurant. The service was impeccable by everyone that took care of us at our table. The food was absolutely delicious!!!!!! We had the wine pairing and it was perfect!
Thank you to the staff at Daniel for making our anniversary a memorable one!
We have the privilege of dining often at the finest restaurants and feel that Daniel is at the top of their category for both food and service. They are also the most welcoming. Although we are almost regulars it is our observation that everyone is treated warmly.
Absolutely exceptional in every aspect. The unpretentious and welcoming staff were remarkable, interested, and - to a person - friendly. The flavors of each recipe were outstanding. The menu was also unusual. In addition surprises arrived continually right down to warm post-dessert Madeleines with powdered sugar and treats to take home.
The dinner was an experience unlike any other restaurant experience. We would recommend Daniel to everyone.
Our party of four had the seven course tasting menu with the premium wine pairing. The first issue with the meal is that we felt rushed throughout our dinner. Upon reflection, I believe this was primarily because every course except the entree course was pre made and only required plating in the kitchen; six of seven courses were cold. Second, The premium wines were unexciting and the pours were significantly less than we were expecting. Last, the dessert was an embarrassment for a French restaurant that portrays itself as top shelf. Overall evaluation: Daniel has declined; save your money.
Traveled to NY to see Bruce Springsteen on Broadway show. A friend of ours told us about Daniel. He spoke very highly of the restaurant. It did not disappoint, it was delicious, unique, and service was terrific. The decor In the restaurant was beautiful!! It was a special dinner.
There are few places in the world like Daniel. The ambience is gorgeous without being stuffy. Daniel finds his way to your table and may even help you order. However, in the end, it's about the food.. and the food is simply outrageous. I've been there several times and only one item on one occasion was not completely over the top exquisite.
Without doubt the finest food my wife and I have experienced having dined at many locations worldwide.
Our Sommelier was outstanding and most of our table staff excelled at making the dinner memorable. The only let-down was one table-waiter whose aloof manner detracted from an otherwise exceptional dining experience.
