Wonderful.menu choices. Anything you order you will.emjoy. The portion sizes are quite large for a small plate type of restaurant. Fun to try different foods each time you go. Truly worth dining there and everyone is very welcoming from the hostess to the servers.

Great food, small plates to sample so you can try more tastes but the price per portion is small. After having so many dishes you will be pleased when it's pay your bill time.

Delicious food, great service, Absolutely fun time. From the moment you walk in u are greeted w/ a very warm welcome. Outside patio for the warmer months. Even though it’s a hidden gem in Mokena, it’s the place where all types of people go to enjoy the food! Great for date night, girls night out, Sunday family dinner, it can be laid back & casual vibe or a dressy occasion doesn’t matter. Dancing Marlin has farm fresh - catch of the day flown in & spins & twists on family classics. If u haven’t tried - what are u waiting for? Make yr reservations today!! 😋

Jillian was super nice- the hostess wished my daughter happy birthday which I included in my open table reservation-also nice. Oyster buck a shuck option was good. Little bit of chicken was lightly battered but pretty tasteless. Girls enjoyed the mac daddy and slider choice. Crab stuffed peppers were good as usual. Scallops ok. Ahi nacho portion pretty small for the price point and nothing special. Service was probably the best part of the experience.

Dancing Marlin is a wonderful dining experience. Experience flavors and textures of food in a unique way that every bite is delicious. The cocktails are refreshing - if you do not see something you like talk to your server. My server recommended a martini based on my drink preference. The martini garnished with pickled ginger - touched my soul.
I met a friend at Dancing Marlin. It was her first time there and she was not disappointed. The beet salad was beautiful and hit all the right notes. Our server recommended the scallop dish when we were undecided between salmon and scallops. The scallop dish was perfect, however, we already decided that our NEXT visit we will order the salmon. Sharing plates makes Dancing Marlin perfect. There are so many wonderful items on the menu to share!

The food was excellent and Shauna the waitress was great at making sure my spouse (who has Celiac Disease) understood all the menu options. The prices were more than reasonable and we will definitely return to try some more of the options on their menu. We have already recommended them to several friends and family.

Everything was delicious. Our waitress was excellent, very attentive. Will be coming back next Saturday. One complaint, your drinks are stingy. I ordered a frangelico, and had to order a double. Once you pour it out of the shot glass into snifter, it was ridiculously small. But the food was excellent, and I come for the food. Not a place to stop before going home for a night cap.

Dancing marlin is our favorite restaurant. We like being able to order small plates that way you get to try a lot of different things. I especially love the fact that the restaurant has many gluten free options since I have a severe allergy to gluten. We have been there several times and have always left happy with our experience there.

Excellent Tapa Restaurant with wines on tap and a mixed drinks on tap but no beer except in bottles. Food was very good and service excellent. Seafood is their speciality but they had other food as well and everything was superb! Nice for a night with friends or a romantic night out with your favorite person! Easy to spend some money here as everything is alacarte but pay attention and you will have a great time!

Went there 1.5 years ago and it was great. We Recommended it to people at that time. Not the same experience this time. Some of the food items were ok and some were much better. But unhappy with the service! Had to ask for clean plates had to ask to wipe table from a spill . He would ask 2 out of 6 of us for drink refills. Seemed like he wanted to wait more on the ladies at the bar.

We got there and our table was ready but unfortunately we did not like where they placed us. We asked to be moved and they were very nice about it. They told us to have a seat at the bar and enjoy a drink while a table becomes available. We did not wait long at all and the hostess asked us which of the 2 tables we preferred. She was very delightful and our waitress was very kind and had an upbeat personality. We had the Moscow mules which were incredible we loved that all their drinks were on tap!

The positives of the restaurant are ambience and a nice selection of scotch. I think the bar area is good. When it comes to food for example the chicken skewers were very fatty and greasy, like you take a bite and discreetly spit it into your napkin. The asparagus looked like they had been grown near a nuclear power plant and were disturbingly huge and so over cooked. Mutant looking. I don’t quite understand why this place is so busy the food is very average at best with some dishes completely gross.

We went for Easter and was not aware of the mandatory brunch. We had reservations for 1p, not seated until 1:30 and did not get our first course until 2:30. We did not leave until after 4p. There was nothing exciting about the food. Eggs, dry bacon, dry sausage, dry Mac n cheese, and dry salmon. The server was quite attentive and apologetic for how long things were taking. I have dietary restrictions and purposefully chose this place for Easter after reviewing the menu online and was extremely disappointed to pay $30 for a meal I could hardly eat. It was an exhausting, expensive and disappointing experience.

The Brunch w/reservations was still an extra 40 min wait. The pre-planned food was cold & took an hour to appear for each course even though waitress said food would be coming out quickly. Desserts were store bought. This was the worst Easter Brunch serves & unorganized staff. I would never go back after this being the 2nd chance of I have given this Resturant.
