Service was nice but slow. Food was overpriced but delicious. Would come back here for probably just cocktails. Food is good but small portion not worth price won my opinion

I sent an email to the restaurant with my views on our recent visit. We are frequent diners here but, friday evening fell short. We arrived before our reservation time and they seated us in the basement. We were there with another couple. The other 2 tables being occupied had families with children. One of them had a screaming child. Our food came out lukewarm at best. Our bill was $250 so we had numerous dishes. The servers were nice when we saw them . I'm thinking they also had tables in the upstairs. Unfortunately this was not a good impression on the other couple who was dining there for the first time. Especially unfortunate because they just moved in about a 1/2 mile away from the restaurant.

Everything was nice. Our steak was overcooked. We ate one and sent the other back. There was no negativity. Good food, good service.

Initial seating was in the main aisle. Requested different seating and ended up in a more private room. The staff was a bit short that morning but they made toe honest effort to be quick and efficient. A little patience goes a long way on all counts.

Went for breakfast Super Bowl Sunday-again, not disappointed at all! Kate, our waitress, was a joy-had brioche donuts, pork hash, breakfast tacos and crab eggs benedict in addition to mimosas and screwdrivers. Absolutely phenomenal!!! Bloody bar looked amazing but not our thing. Will be back and back......continue to do what you do, Dancing Marlin!

MIXED DRINKS ARE POURED OUT OF A TAP,WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.BOTH THE DRINKS WE ORDERED WERE HORRIBLE.AN OLD FASHION AND A MARTINI THAT TASTED LIKE WATER AND MADE OUR STOMACHS FEEL QUEASY,NOTHING LIKE VERY CHEAP ALCHOHOL!THE FOOD WAS ONLY AVERAGE AND I COULD BET HAD BEEN TAKEN OUT OF PRE MADE PLASTIC BAGS /WARMED UP AND SAUCE PUT ON.

Michael Sorry for the experience you had at Dancing Marlin. We do specialize in eight tap cocktails. The selection is changed seasonally, and we pride ourselves in the quality of the liquors used in their creation. Four of the taps were created by an award winning mixologist out of Chicago. The same place that sells $15-$20 cocktails. There is no "cheap" alcohol used in any of the taps. I invite you to take a tour of our tap room, and see the the quality. Hope you would take us up on this!

Always a great time at Dancing Marlin. This last time we sat in the room off the exit. Did not like
it there as much. Mostly tables for two and very close to the other patrons. Feels a bit uncomfortable
hearing someone elses private conversations.
Food and service were spot on as usual!

The tapas style was a nice touch. We were able to sample many things (some of which I would have never tried if someone else didn't order it). I loved everything.

You need to bring prices down by 10% or offer a frequent dining program
You need to enhance the ambiance with a different soundtrack (something Funked Up)
There should probably be a small gratis appetizer to make people feel like there getting value
The Hailstorm Brews should be featured more prominently (You were out of one of the two featured beers)
In addition, I would offer a few Hazy IPA's and work with Crafted Bottleshop and Tap Room just down the street from you (19200 LaGrange Road)

It’s always great to get together with friends . This time around didn’t have such a great experience with the food at Dancing Marlin. The Chicken was cold and the asparagus wasn’t good at all. We sent that back because it was cold. Our waitress Madison was great!!! We were the first customers to arrive at the restaurant and maybe that why the food was cold and the grill was heated up sooner enough.

Thank you.

The food was good but the menu needs more small plates. Also our waitress told us the specials and we picked one out at that moment and she went to enter our order and the ape so was already gone. It was 7:00 so the chef sure didn’t prepare enough specials.

Calamari actually looked like squid, very fresh and lightly breaded. The apples flat bread was very colorful, large enough to share in slices The lobster shooter was unbelievably tasty in an espresso cup, leaving a desire to somehow obtain a large proportion at another time. Food was satisfying for two older women. The dining experience was constantly interrupted by the waiter with encouragement to try other tapas dishes, and bring more wine though the rationale for limit was stipulated at the start. It was noted that a vegan entree was available as a single dish for a very hungry appetite. The nautical decor was refreshing for a winter time if year. Looking forward to visit at another time.
