I highly recommend D'Amato's Resturant. Loved the open air seating and the general feel of the dining room. The food was excelent and the staff was very attentive. Can't wait to go back.

We have always enjoyed our visits to D’Amato’s. We’ve been coming a couple times a month for a while and have experienced the best service and food always well-prepared. We always enjoy having Artemis as our bartender. Always pleasant and easy to engage with. Always hustling whether she has a full bar of patrons or just a couple. The kitchen deserves preside as well, while we do not know their names, they are appreciated! Our food is always perfect! To tell you how much we love coming here…we had our wedding celebration, here, I’m January.

We had dinner at D’amato’s before the Tom Papa comedy show at Royal Oak Music Theatre - the food and service was excellent with the location only a few steps from the theatre. Highly recommended, especially prior to a show!

Food was great. The atmosphere was pleasant. I liked that we could hear the music from the bar attached. The service was a little slow at first. It took about 20 minutes to get drinks ordered. And our waitress was very chatty about how she really didn’t want to be working tonight. But overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back.

Delicious Italian food! We had a great time coming for Mother's Day and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The restaurant is close to the rail road tracks so it can be quite noisy when they come through but it is no fault of the restaurant.

I went on a Sunday afternoon with friends and completely enjoyed their brunch. Parking was convenient and free as it was Sunday. Our main waiter was professional and kind; the backup waiter was however lacking in enthusiasm and warmth. I would return as my avocado frittata and pancake were all delicious. Give them a try

Was here during restaurant week. Terrific menu and service. I also had homemade cinnamon donuts to celebrate my birthday, and they were to die for. Highly recommend gnocchi with chicken. Great place for a date or an evening out with friends.

Thes best part of our experience was the server, she was friendly, attentive and humorous. We ordered the $30 set dinner meal that included a selcted variety from the menu. Sadly, the italian wedding soup was extremly salty with no broth flavor. I ordered the gnocchi with palomino sauce and flash fried chicken-- the sauce was pretty good, perhaps a touch too sweet but the spice level was perfect. The tiramisu was average. Not terrible, but noy noteworthy either. The ambiance was alright, not too noisy, but we had dined early like at 6:00pm.

Minestrone and Italian wedding soups are both very good. Bread service is nice and probably worth the extra it costs. Pastas are all good but there’s at least 2 better spots in the city for pasta. Tiramisu is amazing.

The live music really gave the place character. Service was good being it was extremely busy that day. Food was fine. Two comments: the Bloody Mary's were so salty they were inedible. Hash browns were hard and old.

Our first time there and we couldn’t have picked a better day. It was so nice out and the front of the building is entirely open and you can see right out onto the street and feel the breeze. The restaurant was low lit which allowed the beautiful natural sunshine to do the heavy lifting and it really made the restaurant feel organic and natural. Delicious food and yummy drinks. Our waitress Artemis was so kind and helpful in helping us find things we’d like! And we never waited more than a minute for a new drink, she was freaky fast but it never felt like she was rushing. This is definitely an amazing summer spot and we’ll definitely be back.
