We went here for a birthday celebration and everything was perfect! The arancini appetizer and fried caprese were great starters. The signature brisket, chicken piccata, and shrimp ravioli were all excellent! Our server, Emily, was attentive and pleasant and kept the meal pace comfortable. We are looking forward to a return visit!

D’Amato’s was incredible!!! I chose to go here to celebrate my boyfriend & his twins birthday. So glad I picked this place and reserved our table, I don’t think they accept anything but reservations. Our waitress was incredible & was 9 months pregnant which is even more amazing. 10/10 experience and definitely will be back in the future!

Food was mediocre, I have been in many Italian restaurants throughout the US and this one fell short. The pasta appeared not to be home made and the price’s did not reflect the dish presented. I love Italian food and am willing to pay for good food, this was not good Italian food….sorry.

Made a last minute reservation for an early birthday dinner. It was still happy hour so we were able to take advantage of some happy hour cocktail and appetizer specials. Martinis were good and strong. Dinner was delicious. Service was great. They served me a surprise birthday dessert which was fresh made donuts similar to the kind you would get at the apple orchard served with a yummy sauce and a bowl of ice cream and a candle. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. We were there on a Wednesday early evening so not much was going on but I was told that there is music on the weekend. Will definitely go back when in the neighborhood.

The chair I sat in was very shaky. My friend changed her chair as did a man sitting behind her. Hard to enjoy if you’re afraid of falling to the floor. Good otherwise.

Amazing authentic Italian food. Fabulous service! Low lighting. A little noisy, but our table of four could hear each other well. Paid parking lot right across the street. Be careful of one way street and cross traffic.

The lighting in certain parts of the restaurant was a little too dark especially dining in the evening. However me and my party was placed near a floor lamp in addition to being under the ceiling light and we were fortunate because there was just enough light to read the menu. Overall my dining experience at D’Amato was phenomenal from the waitress to the food and the atmosphere I loved everything about it. The food was served piping hot and fresh and each dish was cooked with love and taste very authentic ingredients from Italy. The staff was attentive and courteous the entire time we were seated. Had only been for brunch in the past and we finally went for dinner. We had the arancini, bread & olives, filet and fettuccine with chicken. Loved everything we ordered! The steak was one of the best I’ve ever had-not hyperbole! The zip sauce is perfection. Our cocktails were great too. I only wish my Manhattan was served up or at least notated that it was served on the rocks on the menu. But honestly, it was still really good. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. Will definitely recommend to others!

D'Amato: Roomy, Casual, Good Food and Atmosphere. A lively, casual crowd and fair space between tables. Our party of 5 had easy confirmation. The food and service is good; pasta entrees traditional but especially well prepared and presented, excellent Bruschetta (fresh) and good sausage and pepper app (presentation in a deep dish enveloped in red sauce, sharable). Good cocktails, and wine selection. Donuts and ice cream for dessert. D'Amato is adjacent but separate from Gracie.

Please ask your kitchen to check the salt level of the soups daily. My minestrone was toi salty, but I ate it anyhow. My friend had the Italian wedding soup and it was unbearably salty, so she had the wait staff return it to the kitchen. The risotto balls appetizer was delicious, as well as the zucchini noodle dish.

Only real complaint is that it was cold and never really warmed up even after requesting it. Service was excellent but wish the waiter wasn't so rushed. Food and my drink were very good. Large portions so much I took half home.
