Da Marino Restaurant is a uniquely sophisticated dining experience unlike any other in New York City. Just a few blocks from Times Square and located in the heart of theatrical shows, Da Marino welcomes all diners into a sweet escape that provides all the amenities of Italy for a day away from the ordinary.

The luxurious experience features exciting live music as well as fresh Italian food prepared with the love and wealth of knowledge that Chef Pasquale has gained from studying the art of Italian cuisine in Calabria, Italy. Chef Pasquale only uses the best ingredients to create this masterful cuisine. Our melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella comes from Naples, our tomatoes are picked from the finest vines of Italy and our bread and pasta are mad in-house.

    My best friends and I ate dinner there before going to see Wicked because we wanted Italian and it was close to the Gershwin. BEST CHOICE for dinner during our entire girls trip to NYC! The food was phenomenal, service outstanding and the whole vibe of the restaurant was perfect! The owner and her beautiful niece made a point to check on us and visit with us during dinner. We felt so welcome and we will definitely make visiting DaMarino’s a tradition when we go back to NYC. I would definitely put this on your list of restaurants when you visit NYC!!

    A smaller kitschy nostalgic old style Italian restaurant with lots of star photos on the walls. Service was good in a tightly packed underground space. Food was very good and fresh with good wine. Quick efficient service to get to Theatre on time.

    Ordered the meatballs. They came out cold. They took them away and brought me out a fresh plate. However the rest of the party had finished their meal at that point. Thought the restaurant could have offered something by way of apology. Ambience good. Man played piano while we ate and interacted with us and sang us some songs which was lovely.

    Attended for my birthday dinner on 4/18, hostess gave us the friendliest greeting, entertainment was fun, service was great, and the food was excellent. We loved it!

    The ambiance was lovely. They have a pianist who also sings and really changes the feel of the place. They brought out tiramisu and sang happy birthday to my husband. The food was just ok - not great. I ordered tomato salad and got a very large dish of tomato pieces swimming in vinaigrette. My chicken piccata with penne was good but swimming in sauce.

    We went for pre theater at 515 and to celebrate my niece’s birthday. We informed them that we were going to theater and needed to be out by 640. We waited 20 mins for drinks and to have our order taken. Our entrees didn’t arrive until 620. We had to leave before we had dessert and celebrated my nieces birthday even though there was a table that arrived after us that was served promptly and were celebrating their birthday when our entrees were just arriving. The food was good, but the experience was disappointing.

    The service,staff and the food was out of this world. I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach and my wife had ravioli. Just go and try it you won’t regret it.
