Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities.

In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Diners can enjoy a patio with a view of Alcatraz; an intimate private dining room; a lofty main dining room surrounded by windows on two sides; a cozy bar that is a local favorite; and an open-concept kitchen counter with counter seats and high tables.

    10/10 would recommend. Dalida is just an incredible dining experience in a lovely location in the Presidio. The service is kind and thoughtful. The explanation of the menu and recommendations are thorough and definitely make everything feel just a little more special. We went with three people for dinner and ordered: Breaking bread Fatoush salad w/ heirloom tomatoes + stone fruit Beef kibbe Çöp Siş Short rib + sweetbread skewers Aleppo glazed 1/2 chicken Tahdig Seasonal vegetables (peppers) Honestly, each dish was better than the next. The pita bread is served warm, and it’s so fluffy. The perfect accompaniment for all of the dips- which we really liked the hummus and smoked yogurt. This is a must. The fatoush salad was light and refreshing, and really just a nice start. I would say the Çöp Siş skewers are also a must- the portion size is pretty decent (maybe 6 small skewers?) and it comes with a delicious dip + lavash. Again, incredible. Really enjoyed the kibbe, and although I haven’t had many versions this was definitely the best I’ve had. The tahdig is really something special- the flavors are subtle but yet they really come through. The crisp is just perfect with soft rice hiding underneath, and the barberries on top add another dimension. Loved the Aleppo chicken, and thought it was very good. Not the highlight of the meal, though. I feel like we ordered enough food for everyone to try many things and leave very full- and we had 1 piece of chicken + 1/2 tahdig left over. For dessert, we had the pistachio baklava which was simultaneously rich and light- the pastry was crispy and flaky with a light cream and raspberry sauce. Delicious. They also had a hazelnut stracciatela ice cream that was divine and the perfect accompaniment to the baklava. One thing that is easily overlooked- the wild pistachio coffee. The server explained this a couple of times, and it’s not coffee? So unique and delightful. We loved it. Thanks Chef Laura + the entire team

    If you have never dined here, you are missing out! From the time we entered, until we left, we received the friendliest and attentive service that we could have hoped for. We were celebrating our 31st anniversary and that event was recognized beautifully by several staff. Our waiter, Alex, was not only attentive and efficient, but very knowledgeable about the wines and pairing. The food was outstanding; we started with their beautiful, fluffy pitas and a platter of various toppings. All of the toppings were incredible. We also had a fatoush salad that was so fresh and delicious. For our mains we had lamb dishes. Again, the flavors were outstanding. We ended with a sour cherry cake and a pistachio coffee. So heavenly!! I also had a cocktail to start that was made with mezcal. The smokiness of the mezcal and the added ingredients was divine. And, the presentation was so beautiful. Thank you for a memorable evening!

    We sat at the chef’s counter. We love watching the action of prepping and assembly. The food was excellent- all our dishes were wonderful…oysters, fattoush salad, su borkin (an excellent pasta) steelhead trout and sirloin steak. Staff are attentive but not hovering. Courses were paced well. The sommelier was kind and knowledgeable.

    The pros: - Dalida is located at Presidio - Staffs were working hard, especially in the kitchen The cons: - The food theme or cuisine is confusing because it's very unique for Mediterranean food. - I couldn't believe that the chef allows to have shucked oysters served to the guests!! - Drink was very sweet to my taste, and the cocktails tasted sweet and plain. - Few newbies in the kitchen which not should be started at the main kitchen. Maybe Dalida needs a better chef who can run the kitchen to be more efficient and work in the kitchen to help the team.

    Nice place with excellent food - especially humus and bread - that also appears to have fixed the confusing issue about having the same 101 Montgomery address as a large office building in San Francisco's financial district (that was the biggest complaint we had last time - that it wasn't clear from google maps whether they were in the presidio or in the financial district because there are two "Montgomery" streets in San Francisco; they appear to have fixed this issue, and we of course know exactly where it is, so we don't have any issue of course).
