Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities.

In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Diners can enjoy a patio with a view of Alcatraz; an intimate private dining room; a lofty main dining room surrounded by windows on two sides; a cozy bar that is a local favorite; and an open-concept kitchen counter with counter seats and high tables.

A lovely meal, a lovely experience and a lovely setting. We tried so many new foods and enjoyed every one of them. The cocktails and coffee didn’t disappoint. A memorable experience all around.

We had a 5:15pm reservation for three to celebrate a birthday, although we would have liked to have four people. Open Table only gave the option for a maximum of three people for the time slots. We were seated promptly upon arrival at a table for four people (set for three). It was a little confusing to us as to why we couldn’t have invited our fourth person when there was an empty seat at the table. I am not sure that it was a restaurant issue or if it was the booking website issue, but next time, I will try calling the restaurant instead of using an online reservation system. It would seem more beneficial for the restaurant to have all seats filled to maximize their profits for that table being occupied for 1.5 hours. The dinner at Dalida was wonderful, as it always is. I had been there twice before and was raving to my coworkers about it, so we went there for a birthday. The service was extremely attentive, professional and warm. We were served by several other staff members in addition to our waitress, and one staff member stood out to us, but I did not catch her name; she was an Asian female with short hair and glasses. We loved it when she dropped off our food and gave a little summary of what we were about to eat. She was very personable and fun! We ordered the Breaking Bread, which was outstanding and a favorite. The pita is the softest, fluffiest, most delicious pita ever. We also had the Arayes Burger (so good!), side of fries, Anatolian Erishte, Kayseri Manti, and the Aleppo chicken. The pasta dishes were very delicious, but the portions are a bit small for the price (yes, it’s handmade & high quality!). The chicken was so moist & juicy, with a crisp skin and tasty giant beans. The baklava was a wonderful end to the meal, even though we were full. It was light & had a great raspberry sauce. We were surprised to receive a birthday dessert on the house for the birthday girl. Dalida made her felt special and happy - thanks! We will be back!

We loved our dining experience at Dalida. From the minute we walked into the main dining room the service was attentive and personal. One of my guests has food allergies and they were able to accommodate her without reservation. The flavor combinations were creative, unique and lovely. The beverages were very unusual but tasty. Chef even came to our table and was really sweet and humble. We will return to Dalida!

The food and service were outstanding! Our waiter was very helpful in explaining the menu offerings and guiding our choices based on our feedback. Very enjoyable dining experience.

Dalida is the perfect place for a celebration. It has a festive atmosphere and excellent service. The food can please all crowds from folks who need familiar flavors and more adventurous eaters. Lovely experience!
