Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities.

In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Diners can enjoy a patio with a view of Alcatraz; an intimate private dining room; a lofty main dining room surrounded by windows on two sides; a cozy bar that is a local favorite; and an open-concept kitchen counter with counter seats and high tables.

    The food was excellent. Pitta was sublime and the freshness of the produce together with a deftness in the cooking really elevated every dish. Great ambience, wonderfully kind and generous service together with warm hospitality made for a beautiful evening. My family and I truly enjoyed a magnificent dinner.

    Have been several times. It is a great location if you are coming from Marin. Food was great as usual, different yet approachable, tasty and beautiful. Do not miss the scallops with rhubarb!

    Our server did not help us get a proper meal and we needed that help. We were starving when we left. The food was on the whole excellent, but so little of it. How can an adult go to sleep at night on that? I think none of us will return. You didn’t even have soup, which is quite filling. There was so little of the tiny items, that there seemed to be nothing to really get your teeth into.

    Although recommended by others, I did not like the Big Tahdig, a lot of flavored rice. A stomach filler that would have fared better with another dish.

    This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The tasting menu was an outstanding value. We especially like the pita and mezze  and the Fattoush salad. Crispy saffron rice was amazing. Definitely make reservation reservations. It’s very popular. There is a street parking but also a parking lot around back. The specialty cocktails were quite nice especially like that they had so many nonalcoholic ones. I wish they had a cheat sheet that explained what we were eating in a little more detail.

    Our server was so great though I didn’t catch his name. Knew in detail not only items on food menu but also knew about their fabulous cocktails with ingredients I’ve never heard of. There were five of us and we got five items along with the great chubby bread with the most amazing smoked yogurt. The spices used in each recipe were so delicious and unique. An amazing space on parade grounds in the Presidio. I cannot wait to return with new guests to impress and pique their tastebuds!
