Beautiful Modern Mediterranean restaurant by Chefs Laura and Sayat (Star Chefs and San Francisco Chronicle Rising Stars) at the Main Parade Lawn in the heart of the Presidio National Park. The restaurant's menus feature Presidio-inspired seasonal craft cocktails, a progressive wine menu, and a cuisine that balances the comfort of familiar Mediterranean flavors with California sensibilities.

In cohesion with the Presidio National Park, the design features soft, natural colors; repurposed furniture items from the Presidio; and a mural and a hand-drawn wall paper by Bay Area artist Emily Parkinson. Diners can enjoy a patio with a view of Alcatraz; an intimate private dining room; a lofty main dining room surrounded by windows on two sides; a cozy bar that is a local favorite; and an open-concept kitchen counter with counter seats and high tables.

    Get the whole experience. Do the Chef's Menu. We didn't get all the shots in, but this will give you a taste. Easter Mediterranean. Flavors, textures, presentation, all outstanding. An elevated dining experience beginning to end. My fave cocktail was the Anatolian Martini: olio nuovo-washed gin or vodka, olive and french dry vermouths, whisper of house olive brine. Savory and delicious. Go for the Breaking Bread Course alone, it's so good. Soft fresh-made "chubby" pita, hummus, muhammara, smoked yogurt, pickles, marinated olives (included with the Chef's Menu). Best value in town at $85pp. They just kept bringing food!! This is the resto to go to to impress your boss, thrill your foodie friends, or celebrate a milestone anniversary.

    This cocktail was delicious!!! Efendi, the Gentleman mezcal, tamarind, pickled mango, urfa biber, lime Our group of four shared two items from Ocean: the Scallops and the Octopus , two items from Garden: the Fava pate and Breaking Bread, a Large Entree: 12-Hour Lamb Shoulder Tandoor, and a side: Saffron Tadig (rice) all with a delicious red wine. Everything was delicious and it was the perfect amount of food. The service was excellent - the staff worked so well together. A lovely evening. One thing though, it was very noisy. We still managed to have a wonderful time.

    Food and drinks were great! Only complaint is that there is no changing table for the kids in bathrooms. This must change

    We had such high hopes for this restaurant and have been looking forward to our visit. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by one of the worst waiters we’ve encountered in many years. He was very rude from the beginning and a few times just plain hostile when we asked questions. I am not sure if he was having a bad day, but this is completely unacceptable behavior. We were not even once asked if our food was good or if we needed anything (more wine, dessert). His colleagues noticed we were not being served and came to help a few times (e.g., refill water glasses, drinks). In the end, we just asked for our check right after our main courses from one of his colleagues, paid, and left. The waiter did not check in with us. Dalida is an experience we would like to forget.

    Watch out about their tendency to change your reservation time unilaterally, all the while threatening to keep your deposit if you do not show up on time. I guess their time is worth more than their patrons. At the same time, they will seat people off the street for the time slot you originally reserved (and for the same number of people dining) and will give them the better table -- your original table.
