Dali serves up traditional Spanish cuisine. Its setting features colorful artwork on the walls, a tin ceiling and warm lighting for an intimate, fun atmosphere. Owners Mario Leon and Tamara Bourso opened its doors for locals and travelers alike to taste the flavors of Spain. Dali is known for its delicious tapas. Guests can dine on such fare as beef short ribs in a wine sauce, grilled lamb chops or shrimp scallop ravioli. Delicious plates of whole baked fish and Spanish rice dishes can also be chosen as an entrée. Vegetarian, as well as dairy- and gluten-free options are on the menu.
Dali has a full bar that serves a variety of drinks, including wine and cocktails. It hosts parties for events, such as parties and receptions. This restaurant also welcomes reservations, making it ideal for date night.
Went to our old haunt with a group of girlfriends. I can’t believe I do not come here more often. The food is amazing and the most reasonably priced tapas in the Boston metro area. I will definitely be back again soon.
Love this place. Best tapas. Try the garlic soup, its amazing.
Great place for date night or dinner with friends
Delicious, authentic food and atmosphere at a reasonable price
It was the best place for dinner with friends! Food and service was amazing! We will definitely return!!!
Celebrated my wife's birthday with family and friends. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious and sangria pitchers were the perfect complement. Dali let my daughter bring a cake she made and the servers brought it out singing. A perfect evening.
Went here for my birthday on a Monday night and it was pretty packed (which is something I personally like). There was lively music, warm laughter, and the service was great! Parking is a little bit tough to find but in my opinion it’s totally worth it.
I love Dalí. I’m a huge tapa enthusiast and Dalí is the perfect place for yummy tapas. The staff are vibrant too!
Such a fun, cozy spot. The food is always fantastic (please try the quail), and the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.
Food was delicious; however expensive and the amount of Tapas needed to make a meal is quite large. 150$ later our party left hungry and on the search for a post dinner meal to complete the evening.
Dali is amazing. The decor is fun and the food is spectacular!
Dali is one of our favorite restaurants. The service is always outstanding. The food is delicious and memorable. The ambiance is romantic and fun and festive. It's great for a date or a special occasion, for two or for a larger group.
Amazing. Always. Our New Year’s Eve tradition.
Amazing all around!
Best tapas anywhere ever!! Great ambiance & decor. Fab service. Loud & fun!!
We had a great time at Dali’s for our anniversary dinner. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. Definitely recommend this place.
Still a staple in the Cambridge/Somerville area, been a while since I’d been here but place has not lost a step other that missing out on cooking stone (got to love when the minority of snowflakes ruins it for most...only in Cambridge/Somerville!)
Service was impeccable and food/pricing consistent with expected quality
A lot of tasty dishes, everything well seasoned but not all the flavor combinations made sense. Very old school tapas.
Everyone was super friendly and loved the ambiance.
Fabulous food. Best tapas I have had outside of Spain!! Gambas Aiello the best!!
I ate here last week. Over all I would say it was good. I ate mostly smaller plates and did not try the Paella or salt fish which would be signature dishes in Spain particularly Valencia . I lived in Valencia for 7 years so the menu was like an old friend . I liked the rabbit in particular and the bacalao croquettes.
Dali is always a consistently wonderful experience — great for special occasions or just a fun get-together! I highly recommend the scallops in saffron cream, the mushroom-stuffed artichoke hearts, the duck in berry sauce...well, just everything. It’s all just SO GOOD. I also love that they take Open Table; trying to go there without a reservation can be an exercise in frustration, as it’s a popular, hopping place to go!
The food was delicious and carefully prepared, and the menu offers a multitude of appealing and intriguing options. The service was warm, attentive and very pleasant. The decor and ambiance , especially in the back room, is wonderful, a pleasure to sit in and look around.
We've been customers for about twenty years. It's always fantastic!!
This was a return trip for us to Dali and we were once again rewarded with a wonderful array of foods, all well-prepared and mouth-wateringly good! Service was prompt and attentive and dishes were creative. The sizes of the portions varied somewhat so it's a little hard to judge, but four of us (all adults) had 8 dishes altogether, plus we shared two desserts - and that was a perfect amount. Looking forward to returning again.
Everything about Dali is great except the difficulty in finding a parking place nearby. Somerville and Cambridge are a nightmare of permit-parking-only and one-way streets. Head for Beacon Street right away and hope there's an open spot.
Love this restaurant! Our reservation was honored on time, tapas were creative and delicious, service was excellent - so much fun. The ambience is one big party!
One of my favorite restaurants to go to! Love bringing people here. Amazing ambiance and food.
This place is so fun, can be romantic, but also great for a bigger group. The food is phenomenal and the staff are all great.
This was my 4th dinner at Dali over the years. Excellent tapas this visit as well except the sirloin which was over cooked and tasteless. The lamb chops, cheese and meat platas, potatoes and goat cheese plate were tasty and their arrival was well timed. Very friendly staff. Dolce se Leche for dessert was awesome. Capacino not good. But a great overall dining experience for my wife and I.
Had never been and was not disappointed! The food was amazing and our server was well informed of the menu and adorable too! We will definitely be back!
We LOVE Dali, every time it’s excellent. It does get a bit loud but the atmosphere is always fun.
Great food service and great place. My clients loved the change up from the usual steak or seafood places. I’m going to become a regular whenever I’m in Boston
Favorite items - the deep fried cheese with honey was great, and the paella was very good. Empanandas, tortilla espanola, and beef were just average. Also, first restaurant I've ever seen where if you tell them in advance it is someone's bday and secretly order a slice of cake, they bring to the table it without even a candle. I expected a little more.
Wonderful service and beautiful ambiance! Highly recommend.
The ambiance and the service is great. The tapas were good but a little bit pricey for what we got. The portions were fine but I didn't see much of a "chefy" quality to the apas we ordered. They were simple, which means less to screw up. Overall they tasted fine but we weren't wowed. Don't mistake this review for a complaint. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good.
This is not authentic spanish food and it’s too expensive for what it is. I am very disappointed.
Diverse/excellent tapas menu. Service very good; decor/general ambiance engaging and imaginative retro-modern. Gone twice in the past 6 weeks and will definitely return. Gets crowded as the nigh goes on but we have NOT found it overly noisy as some others report. All told, best Spanish restaurant we've yet discovered outside of Boston.
Fabulous food. We went for my son’s birthday and had a great time. Our server Jessica was beyond exceptional and really made the evening. Great food and cocktails.
This place gets full. We had to wait 30 minutes though we had a reservation but staff was so kind and accommodating. They gave us free churros for our wait. The food was delicious and I love the décor. Definitely a great place for a date.
Dali is a true gem and every experience we've had here has been wonderful - including this one. Keep up the great work, Dali! Hopefully see you again soon!!!
