Unfortunatley on this occasion it was very poor the quality of food was poor and not value for money. We had travelled from Fort William to meet up for a birthday lunch because of previos visits which were very good. We got a meat burger instead of a vegetarian one but it was replaced although the quality was very poor and could not be eaten but the staff were very nice and not to blame.

No record of our booking despite having confirmation email and confirming my booking. Food took a long time to come and then issue with order (which was rectified although by that time most of the table had finished) table wasn’t cleared after mains had to ask if we could have teas and coffee. Despite no one in restaurant. Servers were politie felt overall disappointed as we had family travel up from Glasgow for the lunch (birthday)

We had the roast dinner and the beef was delicious The hake was well cooked but could have used a sauce especially with the Yorkshire pudding. I asked for some extra gravy and that worked well

We had a table for 7 guests - 2 children. Every meal was of the highest standard. The venison casserole was excellent if a little too generous on the broccoli. Very attentive staff and an excellent end of bin Pinot Noir for £30.00. A lovely table in the centre by the fire too. Thank you very much!!

We had a nice meal at Dalfaber. The food was good but the service was slow. The staff tried their best and said it was busy, but the restaurant was anything but full.

Cold venue, cold plate, cold food. Long wait for order to be taken and food to be served. Disappointing to say the least least!

An okay meal, nothing special. Main courses all adequate but veggie burger looked and tasted like out of the freezer, not what you pay£18 for. Venison stew was nice but not a lot of meat for the price either. Apple crumble was disappointing, looked and tasted more like breadcrumbs than crumble
