   No atmosphere and food was average and could be alot better = fish cakes tasteless, steak dry, pepper corn sauce clear liquid served in a mayonnaise dish? Hot Chicken wings were drumsticks dipped in a sauce tasted microwaved so would give them a miss. Overall poor and over priced. Zoe was great but lack of staff for a busy nite.

   Staff were brilliant. Food would have been a 5 but beef burger was a bit dry but regardless of that would definitely recommend to others.

   Our waiter was down-to-earth and very helpful, and kept us abreast of times, etc. The steak frites were superb, as was the food overall. Great ambience and lovely private tables and booths. We couldn't fault a thing. It was a perfect evening. 10/10!

   Restuarant has booths and the seating is well spaced out. Food and service excellent.

   Beautifully decorated restaurant, service could not be faulted. The food was very good although the portion size was far too small for the price charged. We had to ask for french fries as still hungry after eating our mains.

   Lovely surroundings, comfortable lounge area. Dining room lighting made it difficult for myself and guests to read the menu, we used the torch on our phones! It may have been the location of the seat we chose. My starter was Thai Fishcakes as I am gluten and dairy intolerant my choices were limited. First impression not very appealing, they were ok. I had the Housin choice from the 3 course menu but with rice and I think it was beef but it was grossly overcooked. I then had Sorbet for desert which was as expected. My husband had the same with noodles which he found was far to strongly flavoured . Manager was very helpful and did spend time with me to ensure my choices were suitable but I would go back for drinks but not too sure about eating there again.

    This is the second time eating at Daisy Tasker, having also once stayed at the connected hotel. There was a rugby game on and there was a room full of children watching it right next to the table they gave us, but to be fair, the staff warned us of that and said to tell them if it became a problem. There was only 3 people serving, so it was a little difficult getting their attention, however overall the service was good and friendly. The food was very nice and quite a lot to choose from, all 4 of us enjoyed our dinners. Overall a nice experience and I would go back again.
