Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard
Nestled in the foothills of Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard is a quick drive from Atlanta, but a world apart from the noise and sprawl. Here you can rock on the porch and bask in our mountain views.
Nourish yourself at our restaurant with fresh, locally sourced fare from our Executive Chef, Sean Fritchle, whose specialty is in modern American fare. Enjoy an inviting opportunity to simply be still.
What a hidden gem in the mountains of NE Georgia. This place was recently remodeled and the interior is stunning. Step on the porch for stunning views of the vinyard and the surrounding mountains. The food was delish! I can’t wait until the spa reopens - I will be back.
Another great meal with family on the outside deck. Father's Day was perfect. Background live music, axe throwing and corn hole game on the lawn. Not crowded. All in all the right experience.
Though I was hesitant about the local wine, it really exceeded my expectations. The service was quick and professional. The view was worth the price of the dinner.
My daughter took the weekend and had dinner two nights at the resort, we thought the food was fabulous So was the service.
Food was very good and unique menu. Staff was very attentive and so nice.
Excellent service and the food was delicious! We can always count on a great meal, superb service and a beautiful view from the front porch.
The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. Great service, excellent views from the patio, and excellent food. Sprouts were the best part! Their wine was great as well. We will be back soon!
Great food, beautiful patio views and outdoor dining, and delicious wine!
The wine, the view and the food are on point! We will be back. Our new favorite place ♡
Absolutely amazing experience!
Fantastic service and food! We had such an incredible view and couldn’t have asked for a better evening!
The French toast special and
Loved the venue! Set atop a hill, located in the foothills of Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains, with a sweeping view of the mountains. We went for a Sunday brunch which was wonderful.
Had a girls dinner here and the only way to describe our dining experience is that it was lackluster and incredibly awkward.
-the food is decent depending on the dish some may even be good
-one of the ladies in our group has a ton of food sensitivities and the server was really great about looking out for her
-the wine list is severely lacking. They carry only wine from Kaya Vineyards because it is their sister property. Kaya’s wines are awful. They are all quite acidic, bordering vinegary. First time I have left 1/3 of a bottle of wine on a table at dinner. We’re no conisuers, but after having visited Kaya earlier in the day and being disappointed we were hoping for a good wine list.
-overpriced. The wines are most definitely over priced and taste more like what I would expect from a $9.99 bottle rather than the $30+ they are charging. The food is decent, nothing special and completely unremarkable. But completely overpriced which brings me to my next point...
-one of our ladies ordered the filet. She asked for it medium rare it came rare. The lady who ordered the filet is also the one with food sensitivities. She felt awful being such a pain and opted to eat the filet as is until she got 1/2 way through and the thicker part of filet might as well have been completely raw. We showed the steak to the server who appeared embarrassed for the mishap and agreed it was cooked improperly. However, she took the steak from the table and never inquired about what could be done to rectify the situation. No new steak ever appeared and the server never brought it up again. Upon receiving our bill she was charged the $40 for the filet. We reminded the server of the filet mishap and she took it off the bill no problem. This may have been okay for any of us other ladies, but the fact it happened to the one in our party who has a very limited repertoire of food she can consume is unfortunate as she left the dinner hungry.
we live in the area and good restaurants are few and far between so this is a real boon to our area. It is upscale for sure and the food is great, Wine is good, not for a real wine snob but good. The service is great, they pay attention to everything, my only critisism would be too much attention. It is really nice to have someone check in on you, but if you have 2 people doing it it is intrusive. The waitstaff is well trained and its not really neccesary to have a maitre'd to also attend to you. Now if he needs to check in once thats awesome but to have 2 people its just too many times for one meal. We will go back again and again its a really really great place.
Atmosphere is great, food delicious, service awesome. Valentines Day was a bit chaotic but I think they handled it well. Manager was very engaged throughout evening making sure was going smoothly. Our first time here but plan to return in summer to enjoy the views and porchside dining
After confusion regarding reservations and delayed seating, management was very accommodating.
Beautiful location, beautiful resort and very nice and helpful staff. However, for the money and the taste of our selections we could have had a much better meal for a lot less money. So glad we went, but would not go back.
Excellent food. Great live music! Highly recommended!
The Valentines Special Event was nice. The service was impeccable. The food and drink were outstanding. Only problem was exiting the site...needs better signs?
Hello- ok... so this is my third time eating at dahlonega resort. I have had brunch, lunch and dinner. I love the place, the atmosphere and the wine is great but the food quality is mediocre. The lunch was good, nice cheese board and BLT. But the dinner meat cuts are thin, grizzly & fatty and the steak came with a handful of fries and corn? For the price point having a better cut of meat, a nice potato or risotto and broccoli or sautéed spinach, something more appropriate would be nice. ... just not good quality or food pairing. The brunch was ok... the hot chicken & waffle ... meat was fatty and dark meat not chicken breast cut as we were told. My family said the waffle was hard and dry. I had the brioche French toast which was fine, nothing special.
Again the wine is great. But the food could step it up a notch or two!! I’m a local and I love having a nice place to eat close by so I’d love for this place to up the quality. Thank you!!
After reading the reviews here on open table we decided to celebrate a birthday here . We had the Brussels sprouts which we delicious, a wine flight ( amazing) spotted snapper which was cooked perfectly and filet mignon cooked exactly as I requested. Warm blonde for dessert was a wonderful way to end the meal .
Extraordinary experience, top notch service, we will be back !
Don’t miss this restaurant if you are anywhere near Dahlonaga!
Scenic venue, distinctive menu selections, outstanding food quality and terrific service – will definitely be back!
Excellent food and excellent service
My wife and I stayed in Dahlonega for a long weekend in mid-January and made a Sunday brunch reservation here. The food was fantastic, absolutely no crowd in the off-season and I would highly recommend. I had the French Toast w/eggs and potatoes and it was excellent. My wife has the Chicken and Waffles (and eggs/potatoes) which was also excellent. We'll definitely go back when in the area...
Excellent food. Excellent service!
Great restaurant and tasty food. The place is wonderful
Very nice, great experience
Wonderful service but slightly overpriced for the food. It was a special evening and the staff catered for our engagement dinner. Very nice atmosphere and service
Beautiful views, excellent food and wine, wonderful service. Well-maintained facility.
Came for lunch and was delighted. Everything was exceptional.
Awesome service and the food was amazing!
Quiet and great food
Rib eye and brussel sprouts were awesome. Manager was very nice and checked on us several times. Waitress was top notch.
We were there for the Thanksgiving menu, and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious and we got so much food we couldn’t even finish our plates. Great value, service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice.
We ate there on Thanksgiving. The menu was a price fixed four course dinner. I would have liked to have had some choices, such as salad dressing on the side, perhaps more than one choice of dressing. The plated main course was good and very generous portions, too much food for me. The only choice in the courses was of desserts, which were excellent.
We tried this restaurant on Thanksgiving Day 2019. Overall, the food was very good, although the stuffing was a bit undercooked. The place was busy but not overcrowded. Service was exceptional. Definitely will consider it again for a special occasion.
Some food was cold. Turkey was very dry. Ham not much better. Desert was ok.
Definitely not worth the price.
We were there with 4 kids and had a great experience. Food was delicious, perfect service and the kids loved the s’mores for dessert. I will come back!
The food was delicious! The setting was beautiful.
