Excellent service, wonderful appetizers and dessert.
Gorgeous setting with a great view. Food and service is excellent. It was a little noisy on this visit but only because we were seated near a large group. Prices are a little high but I would recommend a visit. Would be nice to have other wines available- Georgia wines are ok but sometimes I like something better.
Beautiful view, lovely porch, excellent wine, terrific service.
Birthday! So amazing
Very poor service from server, all other servers and tables appeared to have good service. We saw our server 3 times, once to take order, deliver check AFTER hostess tracked her down and finally to sign CC bill. Food was delicious, drinks sub par had one sip and left it on table hoping server would ask why, nothing!!
Would go back, but would request not to have same server we had 2 days in a row.
Thank you Jen for a relaxing brunch expreience! You were right, the blueberry hand pies were over the top!
Food was good but never got additional water, had to wait 30 minutes for check, server visited table 4 times, once to take order, deliver food and check deliver and drop off. Other tables had different servers and great great service. We tried twice over weekend same results both times.
First visit to the resort and we found it to be a pleasant place to visit with out-of-town family. Great food, friendly servers, and the grounds are great for an after meal stroll.
The front porch dining and views were awesome! The breakfast was yummy but the charcuterie had something to be desired. Four crackers three bits of cheese, three cherries, jam and the meat was not edible.
The Twisted vintage wine was excellent!
Fantastic day trip for a meal and great wine!! Nice drive and easy access. Beautiful view dining on the porch
Hubby and I went for lunch for our 32nd anniversary. It was wonderful. The Baby Gem Salad is a meal. Hubby had the burger and devoured in. We had our favorite server, Vanessa. She recommended a mimosa that was devine...I had two of them. The manager here is awesome as well. He is very present. You see him seating and checking that everything is okay at each table. Food here is great. Wine is great. Service is awesome!
Poor service, long wait for food that was delivered cold, incomplete and with wrong items.
And by wrong, I mean that when you try to pass a hamburger patty for a sausage, that's WRONG.
About the only thing that was acceptable was the fact that when the "food service manager" finally wandered over (after we specifically asked to speak with him/her but were left ignored) we were comp'd the full meal.
The atmosphere was nice and thankfully the weather was cool enough to keep us comfortable while we waited almost an hour for the 4 of us to be served. Otherwise we would have simply walked away.
Dining on the front porch of this incredible home/resort with incredible rolling valleys and mountain views is amazing. The food and service was superb.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.
What a little slice of heaven. This winery and resort has amazing vistas and is situated is a cozy, modern-country house. The food is amazing! I highly recommend anything the chef has put on the smoker recently; I had a smoked ribeye. They have intimate wine tasting and lounge areas dotted all around the property, and as the sun sets you can watch the fireflies become active (in the summer). Our server was Maggie and she was a delight. Very attentive and sweet, and our service was impeccable. Madeline, the executive chef, runs a tight ship and her food is perfect coming out the kitchen, featuring locally sourced produce, and her own eclectic touch. She is personable and friendly, and went out of her way to make this a special night. We went here for my wife's birthday and the experience could not have been better! Highly recommended!
The atomosphere was beautiful. Great views & vibes.
The food wasn’t great. The sauce on our burgers tasted old, which gave everything a stale feeling. Overall would not recommend for food but yes for scenery.
We enjoyed a great Sunday brunch overlooking the vineyards and mountains.
We thoroughly enjoyed our outing. We stayed one night. We ate dinner and brunch. The room was nice. It could have been cleaner but the important areas were clean. The baseboards, the light switches, the walls and the doors need to be wiped down.
The service was great even with contactless check in. Check in was a breeze. The restaurant food and service were outstanding.
Menu at restaurant did not match menu online. Food was mediocre.
The food and service was amazing!
Very limited brunch menu. Otherwise nice experience
Had a wonderful weekend with my husband
Zach & everyone greeted & welcomed us
We had a wonderful waitress Jackie
The brussell sprouts and flat iron steak was so delicious thanks to Chef Madeline
Awesome duo band Short & Simple (Anna & Tim)
Amazing refreshing view
Great atmosphere and service! Would definitely recommend
As it was lunch time, we decided to have a salad that we shared. The flavour was well balanced. We also shared a cheese and charcuterie platter which looked more filled in the photos. we had seen.
The cheeses were excellent. We would give a 4 star rating to the charcuterie selection.
The desserts were scrumptious.
The service was very prompt and the person who served us was smiling and seemed to enjoy her job.
There was a group of people who didn't seem to care about others and were very loud. But everyone is free to behave as they wish! The staff can't do anything about it.
Great overall experience and view from the front porch was wonderful.
The view was beautiful, the food was delicious and live music with Mark Stokes was fabulous! Would highly recommend enjoying a nice dinner in the mountains at Dahlonega Resort & Vineyard.
I was a solo diner for the evening and they sat me on the front porch with an amazing view. Inside is very nice but the outside dining is hard to beat! The waitress was very friendly and attentive and knew the menu well. The wine is good, food was delicious and generously portioned. Every plate I saw come out looked delicious. I heard other ppl raving about their dishes. I definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or romantic dinner. I will return with my hubs!
We went there for Father’s Day brunch and had a great experience at the Buffay. The French toast was to die for one of the best I’ve ever tasted! The frittata was great and so was the smoked chicken. We had a great wine a great experience unfortunately we got there a little late and missed the music so maybe next time. I can’t wait to go back
Amazing food great service we had a great time eating here would come back
The view was beautiful and the food great. It was a wonderful excursion from our home in Atlanta. Just a beautiful location and day.
My cohort in mischief in college, maid-of-honor at my wedding 33 years ago and all around long time friend was visiting this weekend. We hit up three wineries and I had to include Dahlonega Spa & Resort. We did the Sunday Brunch and it was devine. Our server Maggie was awesome as well! I ordered The Start, which is pretty basic breakfast fare (eggs, bacon, toast, potatoes) and delicious. My friend had the Duck Fat Pancakes and said they were delectable. We each had mimosas as well. They were quite good. I am disappointed the Lavender Mimosa was seasonal and is now gone. I guess I'll look forward to sipping that bit of yumminess (yep, that is spelled correctly) next spring. The manager Zac was engaged as well, checking on the tables and speaking to the patrons. I have never had a negative experience here. The staff and the food is always amazing.
The service and atmosphere were fantastic. We booked a reservation a few days in advance for Sunday lunch. I chose the restaurant because I was interested in their menu that was posted online. We were notified a few hours before arrival that they were serving prefix buffet that day.
We didn’t really have time to make other arrangements so we kept our reservation. The food was good. We were just disappointed we did not get to order off the menu. We will go back so that I can enjoy choosing from the menu.
We had a very nice relaxing brunch at Dahlonega Resort. They had a buffet style brunch, which isn't the norm, so I don't know if this is new or mainly due to Memorial Day weekend. Everything was delicious. The French toast casserole was amazing, although it tasted like a giant decadent cinnimon roll. We had requested Vanessa, as she was incredible when we were here about a month ago. She was behind the buffet line, so it great seeing her. I once again had the Lavender Mimosa...yummy!
They are running a limited menu. 5 appetizers 4 entrees 3 desserts. Excellent service, good food, very few diners, beautiful sitting on the porch looking at the vineyard and mountains. The food for Valentine's Day was excellent. Probably will expand menu when there are more patrons.
Location and view from porch dining was great, food not so much. Fried green tomatoes appetizer was very good but entrees were disappointing. My wife had filet and I had pork chop and neither had any flavor, very bland. Had high expectations but probably our one and only visit
Absolutely amazing experience.
Service was spectacular and matched the amazing food and incredible view!!!
Kudos to the staff - both servers and the cook staff - for an amazing experience!!!
Such a beautiful place to spend some time. Always love coming here. Came for Mother’s Day Brunch. We had res for 9:30 and were sat right away. I think there was a leftover wedding party that was still around and a little noisy but not bad really. Our waitress was a little distracted by the busyness I think, but very nice. We had the French toast and the biscuits and gravy. The French toast was amazing! Love the combo of goat cheese and strawberries. The sausage gravy was too thick and not enough flavor Wanted steak and eggs but that was not on the menu. Would like more low carb offerings without having to special order. We just decided to blow our diet rather than try to piece together something.
Absolutely LOVE their huge coffee mugs. I think the quality of food at this time does not warrant the prices. I don’t mind paying for great food but it was just Ok. I would still go again for just the view.
The food, view, and service were top notch. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal to celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom! We enjoyed the wine and labyrinth before dinner. My only criticism would be that the tasting pours in the pavilion were quite scant. My mother bought a glass of wine and I got a tasting flight. For half the price of my flight, she easily got twice the quantity of wine. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we would absolutely return!
Great experience, as usual!
If you are anywhere near Dahlonega you owe it to yourself to have brunch or dinner at the Vineyard. Everything was perfect. We sat on the porch and had a view of the mountains. There was live music in the background that went perfectly the the quiet relaxing ambiance of the resort. There is also an outdoor tasting bar, gardens, a gift shop and believe it or not, a labyrinth. If you go up make sure that you meet Zach Slattery, the manager of the dining room. He made our day. Oh, and have one of their drinks with the edible confetti, a real treat and a delight to the eyes.
