Excellent visual environment / design but lackluster service. The service level, including the lack of attentiveness and communication by the server did not align with the “up-scale” brand. Add to this red wine served warm (well above room temp) and flatware “plopped” on to the table as a group for guests to sort out rather than handed out individually reinforced the feeling of a less-than-positive experience. A lot of training needed. A much different experience than our first visit (very positive) last year. We will be hesitant to visit again. ☹️

The food was decent with slow service but nothing special. You are coming here for the views and vibes. It’s very relaxing and beautiful because of the Mountain View’s. It feels like you’re sitting on someone’s front porch and there is live music at certain times/days. The hotel itself was super cozy!

Overall outstanding evening! The view from the large front porch is truly stunning. Our service from Sarah Ann exceeded our expectations. She was enthusiastic, professional, engaging and very real. A rare gem for true fine dining in the Dahlonega area!

The new menu is great, balanced choices. Food presentation is spot on! I recommend this fine establishment. The ambiance was great. Tyler is very encouraging and attentive. Live music on the front porch is a total bonus!

For my 61st birthday my husband was going to treat me to an elegant dinner at the restaurant on the grounds of the resort we were staying at. When we walked in at 6:30 pm with a reservation it was obvious we needn't bothered. There was only one table with diners and the rest of the restaurant was empty. Even so, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant with no view, lackluster decor, and no music. Certainly nothing to justify the price. It was all downhill from there. The menu had no prices on the meats and simply stated Market. In fact, the waitress had to check to make sure we had the right menus, as if this was opening day or something. All the sides had prices on them; therefore, they were all additional even though the menu I had gotten had a rice or broccoli (I forget) dish as a side, but yet the waitress insisted I had the wrong menu, still. We ordered and then it took something like an hour before we got our meals. Meanwhile, the Chef was a short distance away regaling the table of diners we saw upon entry with tales of his prowess, likes, dislikes, and knowledge of the area. He told them that he had been to Italy and that was the basis for his new ambiance. I went to Italy last year and they would NOT present such an inferior experience. There was not anything here that resembled Italy! Not once did he visit us, even though we were the only other diners in the restaurant. When the meal did start coming, the appetizers were the only bright spot in what was otherwise a lousy experience. The very expensive rib-eye was unevenly cooked and full of gristle and fat. When we told the waitress she simply replied that she would tell the chef and that was the end of it. No attempt to make good on the quality or even an apology for the inferior quality. This restaurant is so over-priced for the quality!

Wrong order was delivered to our table for dinner. Upon waiting 15 minutes we didn’t not get to enjoy our dinner together. 8 oz filet was a 6 oz size or less . Filet was medium when ordered rare. . Sent back to kitchen and our server tried to come back with the plate and tried to explain that this was an 8 oz cut but clearly it was not. Numerous items were no longer on the menu as listed. Had to ask for our drink repeated times. After address our concerns with the manager and basically shared with him that he should have come to our table to hear our concerns which he never did. This first time experience could have been much more enjoyable as the facility and view was so very nice. The live music was fabulous and very entertaining to enjoy.
