    Thanksgiving dinner far exceeded our expectations. Only glitch was a very long wait (45 minutes) for our wine/drink order to be brought to the table. So long in fact our meals were completely eaten before they arrived. Luckily we had water. It was annoying to say the least but not enough to stop us returning when we are in Dahlonega again.

    We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and really enjoyed our experience. Everything from booking with Tyler to our service was wonderful. The views were breathtaking. We’d love to come back and stay at the resort or rent a cabin.

    We went for Thanksgiving and the food was wonderful . Well seasoned, delicious and the portions were just right. Compliments to the chef. The only suggestion I would make is that the dirty dinner plates be cleared after the diners finish. Ours sat on the table the entire time. We put them on the edge of the table but they sat there even after we had gotten our desserts and were not cleared until we had finished coffee and dessert and were ready to leave. Then everything started to be cleared at once. I wish now we asked for them to be removed (which we shouldn’t have to do) but I kept thinking someone surely would take care of it. Our server checked on us regularly but still did not remove them, or ask anyone else to. (It seemed there was a different person clearing than serving) We still enjoyed ourselves and it’s not a dealbreaker, just something to note for future reference. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great so we will be back.

    As many times as we’ve been to Dahlonega, we never knew about this resort and restaurant. It’s our loss as it’s the nicest venue with the best food we’ve ever had in this area. Service was professional and friendly. The main house is beautiful sitting on a hill. It was a nice surprise and hidden gem for us. Be aware that only wine and beer is served although their estate wine is very good. We visited Friday night 11/17/23

    The wait staff was fabulous! The food was delicious. W enjoyed the live music-Anna LaPrad is extremely talented and a accomplished entertainer. We ate dinner at the restaurant our first night at the resort, and then the following day we ate lunch. At the last minute, we made reservations for dinner our second evening at the resort. We concluded the evening sitting around the firepit chatting with some "new" friends. We will be back for another get-away!

    Once you arrive on the property you are in awe of the spectacle views. We party sat outside on the patio and the sunset was such a bonus. The service was amazing. The staff’s knowledge of the menu and wine pairing was spot on. Fabulous place to wine and dine.

    We enjoyed their beautiful atmosphere and we had a juicy New York strip steak. The wine was wonderful. Addie was our server and was a delight to get to know! We highly recommend!

    They cancelled my reservation that I had for a month or more 72 hours before the start time. I had a major celebration planned during my vacation and this restaurant ruined that, to add it was a busy weekend in the area and that close in made it difficult to find an alternative. I understand mistakes happen with electronic systems but why wait so close in to notify me when I had been booked for a month? Created a horrible situation that was totally avoidable. No offer of a back up or even an attempt to make things right.

    Such a beautiful vineyard with gorgeous views of the mountains. I have stayed in the inn before and it was a fantastic experience. Lunch today was outstanding.

    The property and decor where nice, but the food not worth the price. Stick to basic mountain eateries and save your money for other places. Side dish were cold/lukewarm and steak not worth price. Pecan pie was excellent.

    We stayed at the resort for two nights and had dinner twice. Tyler is the restaurant manager and he and his chef began the fall menu this weekend Oct 5-7. The stuffed nushrooms were very creative, done with cranberries. The pork chop and New York strip were excellent too. The manager Tyler is interested in feedback. Many thanks to our server Megan, was very professional and attentive. We enjoyed speaking with her and Tyler.

    We visited on Sunday for the Brunch menu which was limited to Chicken & Waffles; Hamburger with Blueberry Sirachi Sauce; Chicken Sandwich and I think it there were two eggs dishes offered. We were told they were out of eggs; the waffle maker was broken but they could make pancakes (I thought no eggs available). The pancakes were awful and the hamburger was great. The first set of wine glasses brought out were dirty and not clean/washed as all. The server came out and handed us the check without asking if we wanted anything else so I assumed there was nothing left to eat. The owner informed us they were short of food due to an unexpected restaurant crowd on Saturday. I would only recommend a visit and ask what is available that is on the menu or phone before making the drive.

    Our experience was not enjoyable. We had a reservation for a party of 4 in the porch on a Saturday evening. I’ll preface by saying that they had some staffing issues the day we dined here. Only 2 servers and the manager were present for the Saturday dinner service. Not an ideal situation for employees or patrons alike. That being said our party of 4 were prepared to be patient. When we arrived there was not a table available on the porch so we sat indoors. The indoor space was dead, and the porch was packed. When our server arrived we were told that they had run out of the Filet. Which was strange considering it was 7 pm on a Saturday. Disappointed we all ordered drinks and apps while reconsidering our dinner order due to the lack of filet. Two of the drinks came out and the other two did not. It took one of our party getting up to go check on the issue before receiving the remaining drinks to the table. The apps came out and they were delicious! We then received our entrees which were the Mahi, 2 pastas and the chicken. The fish was terrible as was the rice that accompanied it. The individual who ordered it sent it back. The pasta claimed to be pappardelle but was in fact fettuccine. It was so spicy you almost couldn’t enjoy any other flavor. Finally the chicken was extremely dry. So much so that it was difficult to cut with the knife. As far as beverages were concerned one person in our party had to go up to the bar in order to acquire a second drink. We were not offered dessert menus. The manager did finally come out after one person in the party requested that the fish be taken off of the check. He gave us many excuses as to why the evening had been a miss for us. He did take the fish off of the check but did not offer any other help to make our experience better before we left. Our experience at this establishment was awful and we likely will not be returning.

    Before booking our reservation to stay and eat with you folks we reviewed the menu. We knew that we could find something on the menu. Imagine our surprise when we received a voice message a few hours before our reserved time that we would not have the menu to choose from and only three entree options. I paid over $129 (including tip) for two blobs of grits plus a few flavorless shrimp. The server was sweet but obviously overwhelmed, we had to repeatedly ask for things that should have been on the table. The large party on the front porch had priority and the staff were dedicated to them. Diners with reservations were not given a second thought. This was extremely poor planning on someones part.

    Wonderful restaurant staff, peaceful atmosphere, and did they order us a perfect day weather -wise? I think they did. This was a great brunch. One of the highlights of our vacation.

    Tyler the restaurant manager is a PRO. We are all looking forward to the FALL MENU! Elle’ was delightful. Salad was perfect and properly portioned, highly recommended. The mahi mahi was spot on! The very tasty Pasta with portabello mushrooms is spicy, beware!

    We all enjoyed our lunch at Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard and we would definitely recommend it to all our friends! We are so happy we found this gem just outside of Dahlonega in the beautiful setting overlooking the north Georgia Mountains. The staff was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious! Can't wait to go back again and to hopefully bring some friends. It might even be fun to spend a weekend at the Inn and then enjoy the surrounding area and the property.

    Everything was excellent. Food was delicious. Manager and chef both stopped at our table. Server was attentive and quite nice. We went there a year ago and it was only so-so, but with this time it exceeded expectations. Plus has a fabulous view. Only negative is white wine was not cold. Had to put ice in glass. Not sure why they don't keep their white wine cold. But for a Georgia wine, it too was superior. Looking forward to returning for another fine dinner!
