All the food we had was very good. Mezze portions small for the prices. Service was spotty. Iw ould return.
Food interesting and delicious. Loved the small plates, especially the mushroom dumplings and labneh. The cheesecake light and flavorful. Excellent service. Waiter helpful about ordering. Great evening. Nice outdoor setup.
This was our 2nd time at Dagon, and it was just as good once again. The small plates offer a great variety and the Jerusalem bread is a must have. Also, the Silan dessert is amazing - I think it's my favorite dessert I've had that isn't chocolate based!
Food is outstanding though price tag is very steep.
Great food a little too noisy inside. Lover the music so we can hear each other
Let me put it this way - I wish you had more stars to give Dagon. The food was delicious, head-cockingly inventive and beautifully presented. Special props to our server Ann who knew the menu inside out and gave great advice.
Three of us received our food at the same time. My husband waited 15 minutes for his entree and then it was wrong. They brought it back again and it was wrong again. He ordered the branzino filleted and they brought the whole fish. They sent out an additional appetizer as he waited for the food. I took a piece of plastic in it. They comped my husband's entree, but they should hav coped the entire meal. The food is great, but we were so disappointed in the service and how they handled all the issues
Three times in three weeks means this restaurant is a clear winner! The cuisine is wonderful, replete with fresh, delicious, and exotic flavors. Love the small plate/ Mediterranean concept, which is so relevant to how one eats today -- every last one is first-rate, but the chicken mousse is EPIC! Very attentive (but not intrusive) service, friendly wait staff, and a wine director and GM who are clearly pros. Bravo, and welcome to the UWS; you are sorely needed amd can't wait to dine again.
Fabulous new restaurant in the neighborhood. Such good food. Great outside area. Loved the homemade bread. Can only say great things about it.
Fantastic dining experience. Add to New York’s best new restaurant list!
Excellent food and ambiance - welcome addition to the UWS
Sampled a lot of plates, everything delish. Server excellent, vibe lively. Will be back soon.
We went for Mother’s Day and had a beautiful, relaxing brunch. I highly recommend this restaurant and its unique menu.
Love this place!! The BBQ Harissa Chicken was sooo good. The Fattoush Salad is an absolute must - It's really bright, herby, and fresh. Everything is delicious, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service was lovely as well. I look forward to going back again every time I leave!
I went to Dagon early April and it was so good. I brought my friends and it was disgusting and I was embarrassed.
Best Israeli/Mediterranean on the Upper West Side with terrific & knowledgeable service - made a Milestone birthday celebration even more memorable!
Loud disco music background was not appreciated , made experience uncomfortable and conversation impossible. Decor was diner-like and at these pricesI would have expected something more refined.
Love this place. Finally, something other than (with a few exceptions) "same ol', same ol'" mediocrity on the UWS. While all the small plates are all excellent, the chicken mousse is epic. Grazing among a dozen or delicious dishes alfresco is the way I want to eat today -- and throughout the summer. Already been twice in two weeks; looking forward to going back!
Incredible food and ambience. This place will become a must for any New Yorker and tourist alike.
Excellent service and food. The outside tenting kept us dry in rain.
Food is amazing, place ok (I know they are a good thing, but plastic dividers are not charming!). Actually, I think this is the perfect place to eat outside. Service was excellent until dessert when it slowed down but when dessert - silwan - arrived, it was well worth the wait and the extra moments probably worked to our advantage!
Loved Dagon! Loved our waiter, Hugo! Loved the food! The only problem will be when they reach full capacity, which they will as soon as it’s allowed, the noise level will go up. If you are noise averse, go early and enjoy the fabulous food without the din. It’s a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.
Everything we tried on their brunch menu was absolutely delicious! Cannot wait to go back for dinner!
Great great Middle Eastern food! Great and safe and warm outdoor set up. Beautiful design inside - and out. Great service. It’s a gem - not just in the neighborhood, but for the city. I am so grateful to have a high quality, beautiful restaurant on the Upper West Side. We were in desperate need. I go all the time now.
Food and drinks were absolutely delicious! Outdoor dining set up was well ventilated and nicely decorated. Already booked another reservation!
Fantastic service and food. Large main portions for sharing. Had the lamb and dumplings plus I had the waiter pick out the mezze. Excellent choices.
The only bummer is they where out of goldstar beer. First world problems.
Thanks for a great evening
Wonderful relaxed modern aesthetic makes for an easy feeling room. Menu was very thoughtfully curated for interested dishes all with a great presentation and little interpretation. Such a welcome new comer to the Weatside - can’t wait to go back
Delicious food, though the portions were a bit small for the price. The space is beautiful and the staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. We had a lovely time and will be back.
Awesome meal and dessert to celebrate a birthday! So many wonderful food and wine choices! We will definitely go back.
so good. hard to get a reservation but SO worth it. great food, great vibe.
This was my fifth meal in 8 days and every one has been outstanding.
A phenomenal meal!
Would return to try everything on the menu
Music toooooo loud, but everything else was fantastic
I wanted to be wowed. I wasn't. Deafening loud music indoors. Crispy lamb was small amounts of fatty lamb on big bones. Small plates were better.
Very interesting but somewhat limited menu, well.prepared and well served, but slightly expensive for what they served and the music was really too loud.
Delicious food, with interesting takes on traditional dishes. A great addition to the neighborhood.
Music was too loud! Food was delicious and plentiful.
The Tunisian Cigar is a must do treat. The hummus is very good. Any entree will be good. The lemon sherbet is a gem.
As enjoyable a dining experience as I've had a on a NYC sidewalk!
