This is my favorite restaurant in Cambridge! The food is consistently great, and the space is good karma ... I have my best conversations here. And a shout out to Brian, Brendan, and Lawrence, who are always a warm and friendly presence. I moved from Harvard to Brown, so I haven't been around as much, but was glad to be back with my husband Saturday night. Thank you, as always! -Anya

In a world of ever-new and more restaurants, it's easy to forget a favorite that is always interesting and delicious food and great service. Don't forget the rooftop - one of the best in the area. Indoor noise level was only disappointment.

Delicious food, great service…what’s not to love! I chose Daedalus because I wanted to try some of the dishes from their online menu. Unfortunately, none of the them were available at the restaurant. Daedlalus ought to update their menu online. The items we chose were fabulous. We had the Mahi Mahi tacos and Fish and chips. Both were fabulous. The mashed potatoes were some of the best I ever had! The pear and brie salad with cranberries was a wonderful combination. All in all, I am looking forward to returning.

Daedalus hits the sweet spot. Nice, but reasonably priced. Something on the menu for everyone, but still focused on doing a few things well. Inside or outside dining; cozy while still roomy. Excellent spot for a nice dinner or drink, right in the heart of Harvard Square.

I requested the roof deck upon making the reservation. Got there and was told that the deck was "first come first served." I wish I had known that before making the reservation. One person in our party was very disappointed with his meal. Service was okay but not great.

We are long time customers although this was our first visit since before the pandemic. We're happy to see that Daedalus survived the pandemic. We were on a tight schedule on our way to Thursday evening service at St. Paul's next door and Daedalus did everything they could to accommodate us. We are out of practice on the timing! Next year we will make an earlier reservation. We disagree with the elimination of paper menus and needing to scan a QR code on a coaster to bring up the menu on your phone. This is not inclusive, although the staff did bring a tablet with the menu when we asked.
