My date was handsome!!!
So loud and crowded. They took a lot of reservations. Is it safe?
wonderful time and great service— outdoor heaters were extra nice!
Recommended by several coworkers, I had meant to try Daedalus before COVID-19 hit. Really loved the environment and service. Sufficient safety measures including digital menus, sanitizer, and stylish screens/guards set up at the bar and throughout the restaurant. Dishes were well-timed and my visit was within state recommendations. People around me seemed to enjoy themselves and staff were very friendly. The calamari appetizer and their shrimp salad were both delicious. I also couldn’t resist their cobbler dessert. Bathrooms were also clean. Will return now that I know their Covid hours. Worth a visit.
I like Daedalus for the ambience and comfort. They must get rid of the QR code menu though as it never seems to work. Plus it's a bit too trendy.
Food was good, but we waited forever. We were the first ones there but every table around us got their food first. Staff also kept the door open so it was cold inside. We will be back but won’t come if we are in a hurry.
My wife and I went for a meal during COVID (and so we insisted on eating outside). The rooftop was excellent, we love the ambience and being outside. We ordered two appetizers (pear/brie and burrata) and we really enjoyed both. I ordered a sangria which was alright, and we split the gnocchi, which was also only good. The price was fair for the experience. I'd go back!
Food was not great but service and ambiance were excellent.
So glad this spot has re-opened! The place looks beautiful and covid safe without being “sterile” feeling. Our server was very helpful, recommended great items off the menu. We tried the razz hibiscus drink and it was delicious- I could have enjoyed 4 but was smart enough to stop after 2 thankfully. Also enjoyed a new pasta dish she recommended. It had a pesto base and the asparagus in it was cooked perfectly. We started with the bruschetta and WOW what a beautiful presentation too. All in all loved it. Great for meeting with friends after work, or the lighting is great for a date night
It is great to have this gem of a restaurant reopened. The service and food is as fine as it was before closing due to the pandemic.
Despite having a reservation took about 45 mins to get seated. Everything else was great.
We visited for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The rooftop setting was very festive- beautiful white lights and socially distanced tables. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Food was yummy-upscale pub menu. Loved the calamari and bruschetta. Enjoyed haddock, fish and chips and my fussy daughter loved the gnocchi. Outdoor heaters were helpful but did get chilly later in the evening. Will definitely return. Felt safe and really enjoyed our celebration!
Excellent place to eat, good food and ambiance, proper covid protocols.
Beautiful rooftop bar with lots of lights. Drinks were great, food was okay, nothing special or super flavorful on the spicy shrimp salad.
wowed by dinner with little lites on the upstairs patio, view of Harvard and the nite sky...appetizer was dreamy brie/pear/spinach salad....memorable cocktails too...dinner was good, wait staff very attentive. THANK YOU...had not been out to dinner for a while, and so glad we chose this spot...and we had a 70 degree eve outdoors in NOV.
Great spot with great food (the gnocchi and burrata were incredible) and amazing service for a responsible price! Our server Amy was so attentive and kind and wonderful. The roof is very cute.
If you have 4 or less people, you can get an neat "pod" outside. They look really nice and have heaters.
Daedalus is a wonderful restaurant with a cozy feel! Loved eating here.
We were recently doing college visits in Boston. The roof top deck was so pretty, although a bit cold. I had the salad with Brie and pears and grilled chicken and it was delicious. My daughter had the shrimp salad and my husband had the fish and chips. All were delicious. The service was good. I would return.
Great time! Our server, Jake, was the best! He had just the right amount of energy, humor, and class. He made for a very elegant evening with the boys. Also he crushed it with the drinks! 10/10 night with a 11/10 server.
Delicious dinner on the roof deck - a bit windy, but good food and service compensated for that.
Overall, good experience, but somewhat limited entree and dessert options. Outside dining preferable during COVID. Server was excellent and attentive
Exceeded my expectations! Outdoor dining done right. The salmon was fabulous.
Only down side was the metal chairs and table felt a bit makeshift and we’re cold when the temperature dropped.
Overall very impressed - definitely would recommend to a friend.
Great food and great vibes!
Great spot and great ambiance. Drinks were good too. But we made a reservation and still had to wait 50 minutes to be seated. Every 15 minutes we would ask and they said, “ it’ll be another 15.”
It’s so unfortunate. I love daedalus and the ambience, but we had a such a horrible experience. We waited 40 minutes for our tables, the people were extremely rude and not understanding. The food was great, but the service makes me question going back there again. Also my Aperol Spritz was so watered down with basically no aperol in it. Wouldn’t recommend.
The service is attentive but not obtrusive and the menu is creative without being weird.
Amazing service and staff highly recommend
Great atmosphere. Great music. Very attentive and considerate waiter.
As always, great specials this week as well as great service. It’s nice to have a place to eat and feel comfortable that they are doing everything that can be done to keep you safe.
Lovely Sunday afternoon with my adult children in the outdoor roof garden, Beautiful weather, very private and peaceful setting with delicious food. It couldn't have been better! We highly recommend the rosemary truffle fries!
Festive individual pods on the rooftop were a creative Covid idea. All dishes were between 4-5 stars. Spiced cider was strong but hot and yummy.
Because of Covid we find restaurants that we could eat outside. This was perfect it had beautiful flowers all around and the spacing between tables was great!!
Their rooftop deck is beautiful, and such a perfect atmosphere for a nice dinner out with friends and family. The food is wonderful. And their drinks were good as well.
great service. the burrata bruschetta was fantastic, though the dinners - while good - were pretty average.
The food exceeded our expectations. We sat on the street side. Was a very pleasant experience.
Love that they had heat lamps outside. Food was mediocre but the drinks were great
The outside dining decor was beautiful and they have heat lamps ! Food was amazing, and they were very Covid safe. Highly recommend !!
the food in this place is SO good, the drinks are ample, the rooftop is beautiful, and the service (Jacob) couldn't be better...including the anniversary ending. my guests were first timers. they loved it. we'll be back.
this is generally a bar in my opinion. I have come here for happy hour and enjoy the patio. with covid they have more extensive outdoor seating which is nice if you want to be outside but not as nice as their standard roof patio which has a view. The food is ok to good. I got the fish and chips and it was tasty. I got their whiskey cocktail and I didn't love the flavor. It was kind of over-powered by the aperol - i believe it was the Daedalus Smash.
