Inspired by the kindness in our community we started Daddy Matty’s BBQ with a purpose: Feed our Community and help our Neighbors. Our Motto “Everybody Eats” captures our commitment to sharing. In New Jersey a quarter of our neighbors must choose between food and other essential costs. 1 in 7 struggle with hunger, a third of which are children. These statistics are heartbreaking but more importantly, they are our motivation. Every purchase you make helps to put a meal on your neighbor’s plate. Since 2014 we’ve provided thousands of meals through our partnership with the Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry and we will continue to find ways to get food to our neighbors who need it most! Due to Covid-19 Matty Is Offering a Limited Menu. Please Call Ahead for Curbside Pick Up. Everyday we smoke our meats then vacuum seal for your enjoyment at home. Once home you will take the packaged meat, place in hot water and bring to a boil, let sit for about 15 minutes or until meat is thoroughly reheated. Until we can get a grasp of what is to come we will not be offering a full menu. Check out our social media pages for daily specials. Our specials will include a menu item a day for your barbecue cravings, Unlike our meats by the pound, the menu specials a day will be served hot and need to be pre-ordered as they sell out quickly. To ensure a smooth speedy curbside pick up we suggest calling ahead we do not take "in person" orders. We open at noon and close at 7PM Tuesday through Saturday and close after brunch on Sundays. Brunch Menu will be coming soon

We had a great time celebrating my birthday at Daddy Matty’s. Food was fantastic and so was the owner. Highly recommend and looking forward to going back.

The other reviews are spot on. We went with the whole family the night before Thanksgiving. The food was amazing and Matty gave us a tour of the place. The sides are huge and so are the entrees. We will definitely be back.

A yes, but with hesitation. I'm feeling like we were there on a bad night, early in the week. The brisket was very dry, nice flavor tho, but exceptionally dry. Their 'simple' Mac&Cheese was way too big a portion and boring....my husbands pulled pork taco's uninspiring to him tho I didn't try them. The green chili cornbread we ordered had not one fleck of green chili...so.... I'm hoping that if we stop by again we will find a moister brisket and a more interesting mac & cheese. As an accomplished home cook who has never smoked a brisket but has indulged many times this piece of meat needs work....and I wish I could stop by and show them how to make 'simple' mac & cheese..smaller pasta to start and a nice sharp cheddar!!!

Really enjoyed our visit. Food was great. The live music and games on tables makes the time pass quickly while you wait for your food. Look forward to coming back.

A great place. The food was fabulous. My son and husband got the meat platter and not only was every meat wonderful they were both had a hard time finishing it due to the portion size. I got the Montreal brisket sandwich. The brisket was great and the combination was so tasty. Matty came over and introduced himself and spent some time talking to us. What an incredibly friendly, hospitable man. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in Madison.

Best smoked BBQ meats in the area! Get the sampler platter! Crazy good food and add some of their own BBQ sauce! Hidden gem!
