Excellent Greek food. I have been searching the Boston area for good Greek food for years…. I had no idea Daddy Jones (3 blocks away) was Greek! My new favorite. Gyro meat is tender and delicious. Falafels tasty. A bit dark - but great for a date. Staff really friendly and helpful with my Vegan wife.

The shrimp were excellent and not your standard shrimp, the dips were a bit bland and disappointing, the burger and gyros were ok. All in all not bad but also not outstanding food. Nice staff.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Daddy Jones. Such a fun atmosphere, the staff are attentive and kind, and the food is fantastic! Drinks are great, too, just a really wonderful place to visit in Magoun.

The lemony potato appetizer is a MUST. All the food we got was incredible. Falafel plate, sweet potato fries, cocktails. We had a Greek red wine too that was super yummy, can’t remember the name.

Our server was new but very friendly and helpful. The falafel was overcooked and difficult to cut through with a knife, but once I did, it tasted alright. Everyone else enjoyed their food and drink. What most affected our experience was another server/host, who came to our table 3 or 4 times to remind us that the whole restaurant was booked for trivia at 8:15. He did this when we arrived (which was understandable) as well as a few other times when we were in the middle of eating. There were any least three other open tables when we left at 8:05, so the rush felt unnecessary. The restaurant should have a cutoff time for dining reservations if service staff are too rushed. The restaurant itself is nice and ambient, but this person left us feeling rushed and like we should leave, so it’s not the place for a relaxing dining experience, despite the Mediterranean fare.

I liked the pictures of the inside on the website which intrigued me to make a reservation very easily online using open table. Decided to try it out for a 1st date. I was offered to sit outside or inside. The lady decided to stay inside which was nice cozy bench seating. This allowed me to sit beside her for half the night and get close. The staff was very attentive. The menu was limited but offered a variety of choices. The margarita's were tasty and a decent strength even thought they ran out of strawberries that night. Watermelon and peach did the trick either way. It was a Tuesday night which happened to be Bingo night and that was a fun surprise. Even better we won the first round and the reward was a small fancy looking teapot. Definitely enhanced the mood of an already great date. Parking was on the street but was able to find a spot very easily a few buildings down.

We enjoyed the feta dip and saganaki (fried feta cheese in ouzo) appetizers, and a mix of wraps and rice bowls for dinner. I am looking forward to trying some of the meat entrees next time - if they can make veggies taste this good, the sky is the limit.

Very happy to have this hip spot in my neighborhood. They have a great patio which I will try out for brunch or drinks after the weather cools off. The ambiance of the bar is great and they have a small, but nice draft list, and decent crafted cocktails that aren't overloaded with ingredients like I seem to find lately. The food is good too and the place overall is a great addition to the blossoming Magoun Square/Ball square area in Winter Hill.

We all got Lamb! We also did the Greek Iced Tea for the table which some of us thought was too strong? But I liked it. Pretty empty on a Wednesday night which was awesome. Very Very cute decor.

We love this place!! An amazing restaurant, bar, and community in the Magoun Square area. Not only do we love coming to Daddy Jones for drinks (and snacks) on any weekend night where we want to go out, but celebrating an occasion here was the perfect idea - the service, the food, the celebrations, are all the best. The staff and owner (Demetria) are AMAZING!!

I was happy with our night out at Daddy Jones Bar to celebrate my husband's 50th. I wasn't looking for anything fancy or stuffy- just fun and different. From what I remember, everyone seemed to enjoy their dining experience, and I do recall the drinks being very tasty. My one comment was that the bar was a little backed up and slow, so some of our party had to wait too long for a drink. I would definitely recommend this place to others for a night out.

Loved the dip and pita app. The red pepper feta was awesome! My chicken wrap was good. A little light on chicken but paired with a side of fries was perfect! Highly recommend.
