Dacosta's Pizza Bakery
At Dacosta’s we use the finest imported and locally-sourced ingredients, along with centuries-old artisan traditions to bring the definitive Neapolitan pizza experience to our guest in Worcester.
All of our pizzas are expertly crafted to order and cooked in our 850 degree, wood-burning oven for less than 2 minutes, slightly charring the crust, while leaving the inside light, airy and full of flavor. We also offer other Italian specialties such as calzones, pasta, meatballs, cannolis, and espresso. Everything at Dacosta’s is made fresh…we don’t even own a freezer! And our restaurant is BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite adult beverages!
I can’t believe we have not been here sooner. We have heard great reviews for a couple years. Fantastic thin crust pizza. Lots of options. Salads too. BYOB for the win.
I was very disappointed that some favorites were no longer offered; e.g. the fried artichokes appetizer and the zeppole dessert. These were items that made the restaurant stand-out as unique from the typical Italian restaurant fare.
Caprese salad is out of this world!
All out EXCELLENT! DEFINATE come back. Very nice and helpful workers
We are in the habit of going to Dacosta’s every Friday night with family. The food is consistently excellent! Our favorite pizza is the Uncle Tony’s Roni with arugula. The chopped antipasto is brimming with flavor, from the meats and greens to the fresh mozzarella balls. Our favorite app is the Aroncini, served with fresh tasting marinara. So good, with perfect crusty outside layer and creamy Arborio rice inside. This place never disappoints! Wait staff are friendly and professional, and the time from order placed until food on the table is minimal! We also love that we can bring our favorite beverages, usually beer from Greater Good across the street. The only drawback is the noise level when the restaurant is crowded on a Friday night. Otherwise, I highly recommend Decosta!
Best pizza around!
The food was good, it's always good! They were a bit short on wait staff that night, but we were a very large group so I'll cut them some slack on that! I will say that it's too bad the ping-pong/party room is so run down, it was a great idea when it started-nice tables/paddles. But now, there wasn't even one good paddle and only one of the 4 tables was playable (2 warped and one with no net).
Very cool vibe. Seems like its an old factory . It fills up very fast so I too would recommend a reservation, its also not that big ( unsure of table numbers). Its a BYOB which is great but it also makes people hang around longer than normal so there was a pretty long wait at 6:30 . We each had a different pizza which were all good. You get six slices in each , that's a lot it was very filling. We also tried the chicken wings and the mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were the best I have ever had, not some frozen ones like 99 percent of places serve. Delicious. Would definitely go again, the menu is fairly limited but Im sure everyone can find something they like. Cheap night out due to the BYOB .
Best pizza in town!
Awesome Neapolitan pizza!
BYOB makes for it economical
Great food went on a Tuesday evening not too busy but that was nice. Server was able to accommodate very nicely for our group of 8. The pizza was delicious but the zeppelins were amazing!
The restaurant was closed, despite confirming a reservation.
This is not your typical neighborhood pizza. Only one size which is big enough for 1 or 2 depending on the people. The prices are higher than your average pizza, but the quality is much better.
Thanks for another great dinner! Always great food! Though wish still had option to create own pizza!! 😔
The food was good but pricey, a little expensive for pizza and sandwiches. We had changed our original plans so the kids could play games and only 2 machines were working..someone on site should be able to repair and fix if machine is eating your money, list money because machine wasn’t working and no sign posted.
The food was veryyyy good. Absolutely no complaints here! The service was ehh. Although, I’ll give credit for it being busy, it wasn’t busy enough to have to ask for things like lemons, refills, or ranch 2 times each. It wasn’t poor service, but it wasn’t excellent either. This was our first time to Dacosta’s and weren’t educated at all on the BYOB or how the resistant worked ( I figured it out, but I shouldn’t have had to ). We will be back, as we loved the food! Hopefully better service to come.
Great hand cut french fries!
Service is extremely slow. If service improved, this absolutely would be our go to place for pizza. But after repetitive poor service, we will be going else where.
we arrived at 545 with a reservation for a table for 2 at 6pm. There was many open tables at this time. There was one couple who entered just before us. They did not have a reservation and were seated at 555. Between 550 and 610, over 25 people came in including a table that was more than ten people. At 610 I reminded the host that we had a reservation for 6 and we were seated by 615 right next to the bathrooms. Took another ten minutes to get drink orders in. We ordered our food at this time because we were concerned they would take another ten minutes.
Food was amazing as expected.
Due to the the table of ten + people, it was very loud in the restaurant.
Due to it being similarly priced to Volturnos who make similar quality food, but have a much better atmosphere, I will not be recommending Dacostas to anyone
The food is pretty good, but seems to have slipped over the past year. They adjusted the menu since my last visit, replacing the entrees with sandwiches. Was hoping to play a little ping pong, but closed for a private party... my son was disappointed. Service needs some improvement. While I like the byob, the thrill is gone.
Great place and awesome pizza! Waitress was very polite and gave us great recommendations. Would go back in a heart beat!!
Overall it was decent. Two of the three pizzas (meatball, plain cheese) we ordered were delicious. Margarita pizza was to saucy and not enough basil. Service was friendly but a bit slow. It is not very noisy which is a plus. Dissapointed that initially my kids could not play on the arcade games as there was a private party? Once they were allowed in only one of the arcade games worked.
Very accommodating for our party of 6, great vibe and easy to carry a conversation. I had heard from other reviews it might be loud, but I thought the noise level was pretty good and enjoyed the open feel of the whole place. Apps and Pizza were very good, we brought our own wine and the waitstaff was able to provide glass ware. Our only real downside was the arcade games, many were broken and kept eating quarters, so kids were a little bummed out. Other than that I would recommend this for good food and nice atmosphere.
We are frequent guests at this restaurant and would highly recommend it! Freshest pizza and appetizers!
Always good fresh food. Love the "go fig yourself pizza", their salads, and the hot honey for dipp'in the pizza crust in.
I was so surprised when I walked into this "pizza" place to find such an amazingly chic atmosphere. Very industrial means loud though so that was the only drawback. I don't eat pizza so had the Greek salad which was delicious but not nearly enough feta (small price to pay for such an oversized great priced salad. There were 7 of us and we all agreed we would definitely be back.
Loved the ping pong tables in back and again, this draws in the kids so that would have been our only complaint, adding to the noise level. Great service. Our waitress was adorable! Great job!
Gillian is the best! Great service!! Pizza and dessert were amazing!
Too much coals in the oven so it was super smoky in there. The food was pretty good, server was great.
Fun open atmosphere great for friends, family and kids. Lots of seating great pizza. We will be back!
Delicious pizza. Our order was incorrect and the waitress didn’t understand what ricotta cheese looked like but the pizza we got instead was delicious nonetheless.
Dacosta's is our go to restaurant. We love the restaurant.
We had a large party of 14-server was very helpful and sweet. Managed the large party well and food was great as always!
Loved BYOB. Such a fun atmosphere. Laid back. Great food ,
pizza was good, service was very good. priced right. BYOB is a good option
Great Pizza! I will be dreaming about the Chopped Antipasto salad! Yum!
Service was a bit slow but server was very nice. Pizza is yummy!
The food is super super tasty. Many types of pizzas to fit everyone's individual tastes!
So delicious and awesome atmosphere! Will definitely be going back!
I love this place. The food is great - we had pizza, chicken wings, risotto balls, and salad. All were fabulous!! Service is spectacular and love the ambiance!!
