Service was attentive, food tasted delicious, and the ambiance was pleasant. Went into dinner with a bad mood, left feeling much better & full. 'Nuf said.
The food was delicious!! The bolognese was awesome! Great service too!
Our annual family holiday dinner has led us to many wonderful restaurants. This is one dinner we always look forward to and the food, location and atmosphere at DaVincis was the choice for this years celebration. Seated right on time for our reservation and the restaurant filled up pretty soon after we sat down. We weren’t really aware of the other tables around us because they are spaced nicely and the noise level was never a factor. Attentive staff poured water and our waiter for the evening came right to the table. He was the perfect compliment to our evening out. He guided us through wine selections and made suggestions for appetizers and the remaining courses. Thank you David for making our evening spectacular. Food was wonderful and we tried many of the appetizers. Loved the mussels, calamari, arroncini, tomatoes with creamy mozzarella and the portions were enough for the eight of us to share a bite of each of them. On to the pasta course and it was gnocchi, pasta with Bolognese and the wonderful ravioli Marsala. Each of these were delicious and all three dishes were uniquely crafted. Main courses included the tenderloin, veal chop and chicken parmigiana. Everyone was pleased with their entree and the vegetables accompanying each were perfectly prepared. One of my favorite things at DaVinci is the Chef makes it a point to visit the table. He’s proud of what he does and he does it well. Rounding out the evening was the dessert sampler platter which satisfied everybody’s sweet tooth. Our waiter set the tone for the night with his thoughtful suggestions, attentive service and pleasant interaction. Thank you DaVincis and staff for a wonderful evening.
Excellent food exceptionally good service. Will go back when in Boston!
Disappointed. Not very Italian. Don't understand your mix of food offerings. We certainly didn't like having to make our dessert choices so early. Usually, like to wait to see how much room we have left in our stomachs. The waiter didn't inform us that the gratuity was included. We found out ourselves after checking the receipt.
The service was no big deal...food was not good at all.
I would much rather go to the North End!!!
We ordered gelato and we got ice cream...not good!!!!
The food is overpriced for the quality that you get. I was impressed by the basil infused olive oil they serve with their day old bread. I would say the experience was "okay" and would only go back if someone invited me there.
We had an amazing time at Da Vinci for our anniversary dinner. They were able to recommend wines and wrote "Happy Anniversary" on our dessert. The light up menus were also a cool feature!
I am Celiac and was treated with respect by all staff. I had the gnocchi and mushrooms and it was the best gnocchi dish I have ever had! The wine recommendations given by our server were excellent, and the wait time was reasonable.
Food was good, maybe a little on the pricey side. Thought service could have been better as there were only four tables occupied.
Great food & fantastic service. The servers were all super friendly and very accommodating. I would definitely return!
Everything is perfect! The food is delicious!! Highly recommend!
Parents in town and they loved jt
Fantastic Italian restaurant! Excellent food and ambiance.
The service was good. It was pretty empty for a Thursday night. The food was not great. Chicken was over cooked and the Indian fusion ravioli had no kick as advertised. Pretty disappointing.
I liked Da Vinci. The staff were very nice, it all felt relaxed and was true to the way it pitched itself. The dishes vary from being standard - but very well cooked - Italian food to a few things that are slightly left field and we didn't want to risk. Nice wine and overall a much better experience than a nearby restaurant that was almost double the price.
Great food with good service. Fresh pasta bolegnese was simple yet fantastic.
Absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious. Service was outstanding, very friendly and responded in a greatly timed manner. The food was served fast but slow enough to enjoy a conversation. It was an experience worth the value.
Very helpful wine guidance for Italian wines, attentive but not obsequious service.
Server didn’t ask me if I wanted to take home leftovers. She said she did, but offered to give me a Fresh one to go. I really didn’t like my dinner, too rich and saucy.
Lovely, made anniversary special added something special for our dessert
First time there and it was amazing food and great service. Will definitely be back soon!
The lamb I ate was cooked to perfection. I look forward to eating there again and trying something else from the menu. The desert was delicious too btw.
Excellent as always and the reason I keep coming back
My husband and our teenage daughter and I enjoyed a table for three on the outdoor balcony in a beautiful fall evening last weekend. The food was delicious and our server Dave is warm friendly and a master mine at the bar .... we enjoyed our evening. Thank you!
Food was amazing! Finally had decent Italian food!!
DaVinci's has been a staple in our "special go-to" dining experiences. Once again our dinner there did not disappoint. The attentive staff, atmosphere, and unrivaled cuisine made for another spectacular night. Highly recommend!
We love this restaurant - outstanding Italian food with creative updates. Pasta perfection and high quality ingredients. A fabulous Caesar salad. Beautiful dining room and great bar area a couple of blocks from Copley Square. Our go to place when we meet former work friends for dinner. Don't forget the desserts!
Da Vinci's is a neighborhood favorite of ours, but on this occasion we had only 45 minutes from start to finish in order to make curtain time at the theater. Our reservations were for an early seating on a weeknight, so we weren't too concerned, but still 45 minutes is tight. We told our server and he was awesome. He brought us our cocktail and salads right away, and put the dinner orders in, pastas to be quick. The manicotti was delicious. We made it to the theater in time. A very nice evening. I knew we could count on them to accommodate us.
Was in town for a conference and came solo. At 6:30 on a Friday, place was dead. However, by 7:30 it was bustling. Despite many tables for two and having a reservation, I was offered a seat at the bar first, which I found odd. I opted for a table, and they seat me directly facing one of the only groups in there at a time, which made me feel like a voyeur. Service was high quality but ittermitent, almost the right speed for an intimate dinner with your significant other where you want to enjoy each other in between courses. "The Sensation" cocktail was expertly mixed. I didn't care for either of the dips offered with the bread. PEI mussels were cooked perfectly and were quality, but neither the broth nor the bread (was more like a Wasa cracker) did much for me. I don't normally order a pasta dish, but an Italian place, I decided to try the Rigatoni Bolognese. Dish was perfectly portioned and was quite good. The wine suggested for pairing I very much enjoyed, and stood up to the bolognese. Pumpkin mousse was good, as was the espresso. The grappa recommended afterward was complex and interesting, and I really enjoyed it. Like any place, the staff is what dictates your experience, and I thought they did a great job despite the seating faux pas.
Nice and quiet ambiance. Smaller venue than I pictured but it was exactly what I wanted for a two person birthday dinner. The food tasted amazing and the lamb was exceptional. The wait staff was quick and helpful with menu suggestions. I would definitely consider coming back here
Spectacular food and service as always. Kim was an outstanding server
Good service, very accommodating. Not a large menu but well made dishes, seasoned perfectly and delicious. We would return again.
Menu had some interesting Italian-Indian fusions (the Indian ravioli was delicious). Entree options were a bit underwhelming. Wine list was good!
The fresh pasta options are limited. The food was flavorful and the portion sizes were appropriate. Service-wise, you have to actively time your own service. For example, saw several tables including ours where entrees were delivered halfway through appetizers. The restaurant is understaffed from a waiter perspective.
This restaurant never disappoints us. WE have been coming here since they have opened and the waitstaff are always attentive. Food is always at it best. What more to say.
Half of the food was very good. One order was severely undercooked even though cooked through was requested. Restaurant was very understaffed for a Friday night and we were told there was no manager available. By the time we saw a waiter everyone else was finished. Not blaming the waiter. He tried to be accommodating. Not impressed. Will not go back. There are too many restaurants with good food and good service.
Everything was amazing. I've been there a few times and would actually recommend this to anybody for any occasion. The staff is amazing and the food is incredible
Never fails as the best Italian in Boston
I Love Da Vinci! I absolutely love their tasting menu. The chef coming out to check on you is a nice touch. Great atmosphere & Phenomenal service.
