Exceptional service and meal. My husband got the beet salad as an appetizer which was delicious and I got the mussels which were scrumptious. My husband got the Bolognese for his entre which he devoured, the server advised that it was the chef's signature dish and he definitely understood why. I got the pork Milanese which melted in my mouth. The entire dinner was delicious, relaxed and wonderful! We highly recommend! The only unfortunate part was the $18 charge for valet. For such an upscale restaurant, we would have expected complimentary valet service with tipping expected.
This was our first visit to DaVinci. We will definitely return. The food was outstanding, particularly the Bolognese. As good as we have ever had. Service was extremely friendly but a little spotty. The restaurant has high ceilings and hard surfaces which made it fairly loud but we did like how the tables were spread out. We were not on top of other patrons. Value was tremendous.
We had the 5 course menu, which had so much delicious food for a great price. We went home happy and full.
We loved our dinner! I am a gluten free diner, and I was impressed at the different options available for me. We ate at Da Vinci the evening prior to the Boston Marathon, so it was quite busy. Our server seemed new, so there were a couple of small mix ups (bread on my gf Caesar salad), but overall we were very impressed.
We very much enjoyed both the food and the service.
Dined for my parents anniversary. Always a great meal and wonderful service at DaVinci. We each chose items from the sampling menu. The aranccini and tomato and fresh mozzarella salad were very good, salmon was cooked to perfection, the mushroom pasta dish was fresh and light, the desserts, especially the custard and mango mousse, were perfect endings to a great dinner. Never disappointed with a meal at DaVinci!
We ordered the rissoto rice ball and mozzarella cheese as appetizers, salmon dish and bolognese pasta, and a mango mousse and a tiramisu during the Boston Dine Out Week. Everything was amazing, especially the tiramisu!!
We will definitely try all their deserts next time!
It is hard to be critical of the food when everything elapse was outstanding. The ambiance was warm and comfortable. The staff was just outstanding. However, I found the food to be just o.k. I had the chicken parm which did not had much flavor and the cut was too thick. The side pasta was very good. Perhaps I should have stuck with a pasta dish as the main meal.
Some of the best restaurant service I've ever had.
They were simply awesome.
Had a gift card for my birthday for Da Vinci. I highly recommend the Beef Tenderloin as it was out of this world. We also shared a desert sampler of 4 different items, and they were all amazing as well. Service was top notch. Would definitely go back again.
Davinci restaurant was one of the best italian restaurants i've every eaten in. I live 30 minutes from Manhattan and 1st generation italian so I know great italian food. I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to go back. The meals were incredible, unique and flavorful, the service was the best i've seen. I recommend the Cesar salad, as and appetizer, one of the best Cesar salad i've ever eaten.
We went there before seeing a play at the Shubert Theater, it also happened to be Dine Out Week in Boston so the value was great. Food was very good, nice sized portions and waitstaff was excellent.
The service and food were both terrific, enjoyed the homemade gluten free gnocchi.
The food and service here are best in Boston!
It was a janky promoter situation from the start . I reserved a seat and was rudely told to sit at the bar. I don’t know why and no clarity was given. It just made everything else crummy . The bartender was extremely helpful and friendly though and the food was great.
The dine out Boston menu contains a lot of food. I can’t finish them. The taste is great as well.
DaVinci never disappoints. Enjoyed a fabulous three course meal with great selections from the Dine Out Boston menu. Looking forward to returning soon.
We were here for Dine out Boston. The food was great. Kim our server delightful. We are new to Boston and this opportunity has given us a chance to sample many different restaurants. DaVinci is one we will definitely make one of our favorite.
It was perfect from the moment we stepped in.
Kim was a warm helpful wonderful server who along with the team provided excellent suggestions for food and wine choices. We loved the lighted menus and comfortable temperature on a cold evening. The salads and pasta choices were different and delicious
and appreciated the gf options and Indian fusion. With much appreciation we would definitely return to your lovely restaurant hoping tables will still be available.
A+ service; gave free dessert wine for a birthday.
Very Pleasant and warm service touched up by wonderful food. Thank you!
Delicious food, lovely ambiance, attentive waitstaff
Amazing!! Great funny waiter
Fantastic. Great dessert presentation for Birthday party.
This was the 4th birthday celebration I spent with family here. Service was wonderful, arancini and gnocchi puttanesca were delicious, Nebbiolo wine was a perfect pair. I've never had a mediocre meal, or glass of wine here!
This was our first time dining at Da Vinci and we were very pleased. The service was wonderful and our meals were exceptional. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. We will definitely be back
If you prefer Italian food, Da Vinci won't let you down.
We enjoyed our dining experience at Da Vinci's very much. The quality of service, food, and atmosphere were all impeccable. We shared the arancini appetizer and each had the rigatoni bolognese. The food was delicious. The interior is beautiful, cozy and quiet. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Came here to celebrate a birthday. Everything was excellent from the beginning to the end. A very memorable and a perfect dinner.
Da Vinci restaurant is a wonderful place to go for especially great food. All food is made from "scratch". The quiet atmosphere is perfect for conversation with your family and/or friends!
Very nice restaurant with friendly service staff! The food was good and tasty but a bit pricey! Overall a good dining experience!
The restaurant was very cute inside. The only thing that I was not a huge fan of were the menus that lit up when you opened them. The florescent light in the menu was not easy to look at in the dimly lit restaurant. The wait staff was really friendly and informative about the history of the chef and the food. The homemade pasta was delightful and the wine was good.
The food was pretty good but nothing too special, especially for the cost. Wine list was great and so was the customer service!
Very tasty. Interesting take on Italian food. A delicate fusion of Indian spices in a couple of dishes, though a first for me in a restaurant setting.
very good food and wonderful waitstaff...it was a lucky find ....we were looking for a restaurant near Lyric Theater and this was perfect...will go back again when we are in Boston
Very average to below average food. Nothing special at all. Appetizers were good but the entree were very plain and the chicken parm tough
Very good food and service but that had a random "Greek night" start after 10 pm which was pretty annoying. Kept singing the same Greek song over and over.....
Good food and ambience
We have enjoyed DaVinci and loved getting back after quite some time. Wines were quite enjoyable without being over the top in price. Service is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, which we appreciate. The light up menus are fun and unexpected. The Caesar Salad and Mixed Greens ere both creatively presented and tasty, with just the right amount of dressing. We ate too much bread and dip, but it was irresistibly fresh and delicious. Our huge portions were delicious, and included the Scallops and Chicken Parmesan. The Pasta is fresh and made in house; too good to resist.
Sadly, we were too full for dessert, but we'll be back to enjoy the Vanilla Creme Brulee and other tasty delights.
