Da Pasquale Trattoria Italiana
Da Pasquale serves classic Italian cuisine in its spacious eatery steeped in the warmth and charm one would expect in a Tuscan villa. Appetizer options include the frutti di mare al guazzetto, a fresh seafood sautée and the prosciutto san daniele served with your choice of melon or burrata, both of which are simply delicious and great to share. Da Pasquale's pizzas are crowd pleasers that come with red and white sauce options, as well as a variety of toppings. Specialties include veal ossobuco with roasted potatoes, the hearty vegetarian lasagna and the pappardelle pasta with asparagus and juicy chicken.

Meatless lasagna with eggplant, spinach, ricotta cheese, béchamel sauce, tomato sauce and parmesan cheese.

The restaurant is making great efforts to make the Covid restrictions workable with less patrons, fewer staff all with very pleasant responses to everything.
Can't wait to go back.
We had to sit inside next to equipment and booster chairs that were stuffed into a corner despite having a reservation for outdoor seating. They tried to seat us outdoor but it was awful. It was right next to the exit of a parking garage.
I asked if the carciofi salad was the dry shaved artichokes. The waitress said yes but it was the soft marinated artichokes and it had arugula salad with it that had too much dressing.
Quaint Italian restaurant. Food was delicious. Big portions, great taste, and charming atmosphere. Prices were reasonable. We will return.
The good and bad.
The sausage pizza was meh.
The beef carpaccio, the best I’ve ever had, exceptional quality. They don’t drench the beef with dressing. The beef was fresh, light and delicious, with fresh baby Arugula. Cut slightly thicker than normal. Very uncommon. All too often carpaccio, is swimming in lemon juice and olive oil.
The Cannoli, so good.
And the lemon sorbet, perfect, not too sour or sweet, straight out of Italy. Memories came flooding back from Italy.
Unfortunately, we had a heavy lunch earlier in the day, so it was a light dinner. Look forward to going back to try some of their signature dishes.
The service was excellent, with the owner standing watch. It’s becoming more and more rare to see family owned restaurants much less with them present.
This restaurant is such a great gem. the italian food is authentic with a good menu choice and everything is delicious. I have leftovers the next night and it was equally good heated up! the owner and servers are great as well!
Legitimate, authentic Italian. Well executed by professionals.
It was our first time at Da Pasquale and we are looking forward to many trips to come!
Always great food at reasonable prices!
Great food. Always consistent. Service disappeared after a while. Water not filled. Etc.
Good in a tough situation though
Great home style Italian food. Wonderful service and have adapted well to Covid ruled
Considering the small and limited space, they still made it a very nice experience
Been dining at Da Pasquale for over 26 years. Amazing restaurant. Food is delicious. Cozy, warm. Lovely staff. Hi FB my recommend the Caesar salad, shrimp and calamari sala. Their lamb is outrageous and pastas and pizzas are divine.
We had a celebration birthday lunch and everything was great!
Delightful wine and Pasquale salads were delicious.
Nice relaxing atmosphere and great service.
The establishment is nice, but you are surrounded by entitled people - it is BH. The lady behind me, told me to quiet down when she was the one belligerently drunk while we were seated outside... next to the road... where cars are revving their engines. It made no sense, but obvi, I was cordial and understand it is not the restaurants fault.
The food was good, and the shots were heavy; well worth the $$$. I feel like this is more of a date night restaurant and is pretty intimate... if you aren't on the sidewalk seating. Most of the people were older by like double my age, so be wary if you plan to go with friends for a night out.
The waiters were switching off, so it was a little inconvenient to not consistently have the same waiter. Sometimes they would overlap duties and ask us twice the same questions or bring us water right after each other. They were probably short staffed so I definitely won't hold that against them.
Best italian in LA
We love the food here and the staff! One of our favorite restaurants!

Bolognese pasta, vegetarian lasagna, pizzas and wine are all great!! Pasta is fresh, just delicious. The quality of food is top notch. Highly recommend to check out this restaurant. It’s a little hidden gem
Excellent had the lamb and was fantastic
Best authentic Italian food. Love this restaurant. Neighborhood gem.
Great service and food. On the street can be a bit noisy at times but worth it.
Recommended by friend from Naples Italy and he was right! This place always delivers on fantastic and flavorful authentic Italian--- not the fuddy duddy stuff you find at most LA Italian places. Nice atmosphere, not overly sceney. Just pleasant, consistent and delicious.
Our Italian go to in the Westside!
Wonderful restaurant. The eggplant Parmesan is delicious.
Amazing dinner like always!!
One of the very best. Even with the pandemic and sitting on the sidewalk, the food and servie were great.
Amazing as always!!
I’ve been dining at this lovely gem for 25+ years. Gracious host, Pasquale, and his staff are attentive and professional. The food is outstanding!
Love the food here! It’s fresh, authentic, and delicious. My favorite dish is the spaghetti pescatore and for an appetizer, the grilled calamari and shrimp. Amazing!
came with mom in a wheelchair and seating was easy outside. Our waiter and busboy were both outstanding and our waiter gave great advice.
Have liked this place for years.
Good outside dining experience except for the traffic.....very good service even though outside.
Food and service were great. One of our go-to restaurants and we saw lots of people picking up orders to take home. Very happy that they are able to stay open and be there for their customers.
Excelente calidad de comida. Vale la pena ir.
Very good food. Great service. I will definitely return.
