Da Pasquale Trattoria Italiana
Da Pasquale serves classic Italian cuisine in its spacious eatery steeped in the warmth and charm one would expect in a Tuscan villa. Appetizer options include the frutti di mare al guazzetto, a fresh seafood sautée and the prosciutto san daniele served with your choice of melon or burrata, both of which are simply delicious and great to share. Da Pasquale's pizzas are crowd pleasers that come with red and white sauce options, as well as a variety of toppings. Specialties include veal ossobuco with roasted potatoes, the hearty vegetarian lasagna and the pappardelle pasta with asparagus and juicy chicken.
Da Pasquale proudly serves heaping amounts of luscious southern Italian cuisine to your plate with charisma, staying true to its roots the entire time.
Genuine Italian family run restaurant. Food quality is excellent. I’d forget the high end & eat here. Food is real and fresh. Service is authentic no acting here. Great choice of wines. We shared a tricolour starter & then the seafood Zuppe, containing fresh fish & shell fish) carb free. Sensational. And the breaded chicken escalope & pasta.
If I have one suggestion I’d be offering real Italian ice cream!
My friend and I had a wonderful meal. The service was very good and the food was excellent. The fish and seafood were both very fresh and delicious. I do wish that there was a bit of acoustic treatment because it was a little bit loud for me. I will return for more delicious food.
I'm 38, my wife is 31; we were the youngest people there by about 25 years :) Authentic food, excellent service (if not a tad slow), and a nice family run place. Not as chi chi as other BH spots, probably bc it's a few blocks away from the touristy areas, but a good local spot. You won't be disappointed!
The best Italian food around my neighborhood.
It is an excellent restaurant.
Always a best night
Waiter was slammed with a huge table and working outside. But he really took care of us!!
Thank you Da Pasquale
The food is EXCELLENT! Anna, the chef , cooks with love and the freshest ingredients. Pasquale always makes you feel like you're coming into his home. All of the servers are friendly and accommodating.
Put this on your "must go to" list for restaurants.
GOOD FOOD, AND AT VERY FAIR PRICES COMPARED TO TODAY'S MANY RESTAURANTS THAT ARE OVER PRICED.
Always a special treat with Pasquale hosting in the front and Mama doing her magic in the kitchen. The food is better than ever: Spaghetti Pescatore (fresh tomatoes, mussels, clams, shrimp) and salad with shrimp and squid were out of this world!
The service was great, our server was super friendly and everything came out right on time. But the food was quite disappointing, the salad was not fresh and neither were the ravioli or pizza. Im not usually too picky, but the pasta seemed undercooked and the pizza almost looked store bought. The people were so nice we didn’t complain but the food was not up to par with every other Italian restaurant I’ve visited in LA
Very nice service and lovely food and wine! We enjoyed it!
went in for my birthday and was greeted warmly! Even got vanilla ice cream with a candle. Very cozy and welcoming feel to the whole restaurant.
Delicious birthday dinner!
Da Paquale raises the bar for excellence. Anna's cooking is amazing... as good or better than anywhere in town. Bravo. Keep it up.
Great little restaurant Pasquale has his team waiting for you
Great food and great value and great family owned by fantastic people .
Great food. I had the linguine vongole. It’s better to sit the side. Tables in the middle get noise from all around.
This is an authentic Italian experience; excellent food, family atmosphere, efficient and attentive staff. Full marks!
Food is always reliably excellent and the service attentive. Anna is the best with pasta
Very noisy. Our waiter was either very busy or inept. Our first visit, and we were really hoping for a great experience. It came highly recommended.
Italian restaurant good genuine kitchen, wine price is too high,
The food was incredibly authentic, very fresh, and delicious. Service was excellent. The gnocci and lasagna were amazing.
There were obviously not enough servers working as the service was very POOR!
A wonderful dinner in Beverly Hills for my birthday. It was like having a home cooked meal. Thanks to the staff for making it a special night for us.
It’s loud, but the food was amazing. Saw woody Harlson and Ed O’Neil
Great food plus a simpatico ambiance and friendly staff. I've been here twice in the last 2 weeks and everything I had was outstanding: eggplant parmesan and seafood guazzeto appetizers; fantastic zuppa di pesce and a heavenly lasagne vegetariania.
The food was pretty good, service however was not. We sat for 25 minutes without being greeted by a server. We finally flagged down an employee and within minutes a female server was at our table. She brought water for the table and then disappeared for a while. It was 35 minutes before we got our other drinks and were able to order appetizers. The restaurant was busy, but we were not properly attended to. She never asked if we would like another glass of wine, nor did she take our places for 15 minutes after we were finished eating. I would not come again.
Best food!! Wasn't a big fan of Italian food until I tried out this place. LOVE IT!!
We’ve had consistently excellent experiences at Da Pasquale over many years. It is one of the most reliable restaurants in Beverly Hills. Authentic, beautifully prepared (largely southern) Italian food. Servers in this always busy trattoria are efficient, observant, and polite.
Pasquale, as owner and host, performs miracles with seating endless numbers of people. The chef, his wife Anna, is nothing less than a national treasure!
It is a fun place and the food is delicious. I should also mention the excellent service. But don't go so I can get a table!
always a delicious meal and terrific service. We dine there often
Everyone from the host, server and the busboy were wonderful. And the food was DELICIOUS!
Our only negative comment is that time it took to receive the food was much too long. However they get a pass as the restaurant was packed and it was weekend prime time so next time we’ll just go at a less busy time. So worth it!
Authentic Italian in the heart of Beverly Hills! The menu has so many options it's hard to choose, but everyone at our table loved what they ordered. From grilled fish to scrumptious pasta dishes, you will not be disappointed. Great for date nights, business dinners or more casual family & friends.
Service hurt this review. The lady helping us seemed overwhelmed. We felt forgotten most of the time
The best food and the best staff! Can’t wait to go back!
Great birthday celebration for my nephew. Food was well done and authentic.
Food is always great. Great neighborhood spot!
food is always outstanding as is the service. Restaurant is a bit noisy.
This was an excellent restaurant and I highly recommend it. We had a reservation and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The food was excellent and so was the service. There were about 15 tables so it was a pleasant experience.
Note that it is very loud in the restaurant - perhaps they can do something to deaden the loud noise so you can hear the people talk at your table.
Food was good, but the service wasn't. Maybe they were having a bad night.
