   I have loved this place since the day it opened. The Morra family and staff are all absolutely wonderful people. I'm very happy that Anna and Pasquale are retiring now so that they can relax and spend more time with their kids and grandkids, but I'm positively heartbroken to lose them. The good news is that their kids have opened a delicious new restaurant in the valley!

   Unfortunately, this will be my last review of this iconic restaurant and their wonderful owners and staff. They will be closing their doors and retiring after more than forty years in the restaurant business. We wish them all a continued fabulous life either in retirement or wherever their next employment might be. My wife and I have been enjoying Da Pasquale's incredible food and engaging staff for more than twenty-five years and we will desperately miss them all but are happy for them, especially Pasquale and his wife.    We are distraught that DaPasquale is closing. It has been our special place for 30 years... but we're grateful that we got to enjoy another fabulous meal last night, thank Anna personally, and connect again with our lovely server, Teresa.

    Horrible: we had an 8pm reservation. When we got there they informed us that there was a party of 10 coming and they just sat another big party. They had placed us in a corner with a wobbly table along with people who had been sitting waiting for bread and water for over 30 minutes. We figured the waiters will be coming quickly since they just sat us. After waitressing for 30 minutes ourselves without water or even an acknowledgement that we were even there we left. We got the “I’m sorry” and “ we overbooked” but come on, prisoners at least get bread and water. Never again

    We were seated right away but absolutely no service. We had to ask several times for water and wine glasses for the wine we brought. We ordered the bruschetta with the eggplant to start and the waitress didn’t tell us there are only 3 pieces and there were 4 of us. The waitress was wearing a mask and we could not understand her or hear her very well. No one else was wearing a mask. Overall the service was extremely poor but the food was good. And it’s too bad because poor service can really ruin a dining experience.

    We went to Italy last summer. The food here is on par with what we had in Italy. Fresh, generous portions, interesting menu items, and everything was delicious. We had the chicken parm with spaghetti and house made tomato sauce. I don’t normally particularly like this—it’s my husband’s favorite. We both loved it. I had the homemade pasta with sausage, porcini mushrooms, shaved truffle and Parmesan and it was a culinary treat! We shared a half bottle of barolo and had tiramisu and Italian cheesecake for dessert. Just like mama used to make (if my mama were Italian…). Perfecto! And the staff were so kind and helpful and attentive. Just loved it!

    Love, Love Love the food. The flavors are simple, fresh and beautiful! The service was wonderful too. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my time with my family and friend.     Love this restaurant, have been coming for years. Everything is familiar and they never change the smile, quality, and bread Sad to hear it’s closing permanently this summer as the family has maintained the facility for decades. Time to return to the routes of life.

    Every time we dine at Da Pasquale it is a wonderful experience! The food is outstanding, every single dish. The atmosphere, the staff outstanding! The owners are warm and friendly. We always choose Da Pasquale for special occasions or as we did last night, just to have a delicious Italian dinner at our favorite restaurant!     Large menu with many choices for all food groups. Friendly servers and bus boys. Easy parking in the structure behind the restaurant. Prices, food quality and preparation are in line with other Beverly Hills Italian restaurants. Main courses were generous enough to take food home. We went early on Valentine's Day but were not rushed so they could turn the table even though I saw that the appointment book was full.
