Lovely Italian Restaurant Staff very friendly and attentive The food is good - However I ordered half a lobster £23 and got a load of pasta and about 3 or 4 bits of lobster and the empty shell on my plate - must have been a small lobster! I thought the restaurant was expensive for what it was charging 3/4 star hotel prices

I came here with my partner and we were very disappointed. The waiter who was apparently the owner was very arrogant and condescending. I have a dairy intolerance so asked if one dish could be made without cream he said no. I then asked if a sauce could be on the side he said no. He started to get annoyed and wasn’t helpful at all. Mine and my partners steak was tough with no flavour. Also he sat us on a table looking into the kitchen, and the table next to us had a small child on it being very noisy. I asked to be moved and we were given a better table. The house wine to which there is no choice, is cheap and nasty. We won’t be returning. Romantica is much nicer.

Although the food was lovely, the customer service was awful. We visit often but after our latest visit, I won't be returning again. I'm not sure whether the owners had an argument beforehand but everyone else seemed to suffer for it. The restaurant was by no means full and yet we sat for over 30 minutes in reception despite our table being empty. We were also made to order our meals whilst sat in reception instead of at our table. The specials were practically shouted at us and we were spoken to very abruptly and rude all evening by both the owner and his wife so a return won't be on the cards. Our very presence seemed to be a total inconvenience and their attitudes were disgusting. It's not the only nice Italian restaurant in the area and for the price, you deserve better customer service.
