This is one of the most consistent restaurants in the area. Food and service is always good. My only criticism is that I noted it was for an anniversary and expected something to acknowledge that but not even the waitress said anything.

Service was very slow today. The server we had seemed to be having trouble multi-tasking. We waited 15 minutes before our bottle of wine arrived. And everything was just slow. Dan or Jeremiah are our usual servers, so I guess we’re spoiled.

I’ve posted previously. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful. The problem…..waiting 30 minutes after my reservation time to be seated. The last visit was a 45 minute wait. That was a Friday night. This visit was a Tuesday night. I was sure we would not have an issue. The manager spoke with us, at length, about the issue. She could not have been more respectful of both our frustration while explaining the difficulties faced by the restaurant to accommodate their patrons. The restaurant finds its customers like to sit and DaF will not make any attempt to move them along. Will I go back, maybe. But I’ll call before I leave to see how far behind they’re running and adjust my show up time accordingly.

Da Francesco's is great for families but not so much for couples or a romantic evening out. Not unusual for Italian restaurants, Da Francesco's caters to families and there are many children with the accompanying level of noise. A potential option if attempting to avoid the family atmosphere would be to sit in the bar area. I had requested couples seating for this reservation, 2 people, 5:00 on a Thursday, but we were seated in the large group and family areas. Not Good, not acceptable. The food is standard Italian family offerings. Nothing bad, but nothing exceptional. We had the seafood pasta and a Veal/Prosciutto/Asiago cheeses special of the day.

My family and I were celebrating my wife promotion at work. I asked my wife where she wanted to go and of course she says “Da’s”. She was born in Napoli, so she loves the food. My kids love it as well. We had an incredible server last night they Matt. He truly made our overall experience exceptional. He was attentive to our table, knew what we needed before we did, and had a great smile and presents. We always end our time at Da’s. Dominic and his wife are great people and run a phenomenal restaurant.

We waited a few minutes past our reservation time, but once we got seated, everything went smoothly. As always, the food was great. Our entrées included veal Val’dostana, chicken Parmesan, and spaghetti with meatballs. Had a great time catching up, and also ordered a couple desserts to enjoy when we got home. Will definitely be returning!
