Da Edoardo North
The restaurant’s cozy and elegant ambiance is enhanced by a rich wooden bar that is perfect for drinks after work, or dessert and cordials after the movies. The interior is comfortable and inviting and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
Halibut was not worth the price. Service and atmosphere were lovely
Place is slipping big time. Very sad.
Traveling from out of town found this place on open table. Excellent service until the end when server forgot the sugar for the espresso. I think place was understaffed in the front of the house. Food was very good. Bread was yummy. Specials where priced right and delicious.
The bread is amazing. The tuna was not very good. Our waitress was neither courteous nor attentive. She was short when asked what was included in our meals. It was elaborated in their menu. The atmosphere was beautiful. Overall experience was disappointing. I took my partner there to celebrate his new job and our move to Michigan.
Very clean facility and pleasant service, great food. Will return.
Probably one of the nicest places I’ve ever been. Food was so good. And they didn’t even scold us for making out at their table
Had a great dinner for 7 people. Not really overpriced. Great attentive staff. The food was very good, standard Italian dishes. Nothing outstanding to write home about but overall very good. Not much for veggie fans
We enjoyed the evening very much. The food was very good. My veal was very tender. My wife's carbonara was excellent. The the calamari appetizer was outstanding. The portions were so good that we ended up having lunch the next day and enjoyed it again.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, service and ambience of this restaurant. We will definitely be back.
Three of us had an early dinner on a Thursday evening. We asked for a table by the windows for 5pm, and were happily accommodated. Our server, Nicole, was polite, nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She was very attentive without ever making us feel rushed, and brought our courses at a pleasant pace. We started with the fried calamari and Nancy’s Nectar, a house cocktail- delicious! We continued with house salads and Gamberoni Da Edoardo, also delicious! The portions are generous, and the meal is accompanied by a bread basket with dipping oil.
While we were dining, the manager (or possibly owner) came over to chat and ask about our meals and service. While the occasion was bittersweet (personal story), we were delighted that we chose Da Edoardo’s for our special occasion.
We enjoyed our meals and the server Tina did a fantastic job. The place is on the high end of prices but the meal was good quality.
My favorite restaurant in michigan excellent food the owner is very nice
We were celebrating my granddaughter's High School graduation. I brought in a special dessert and the restaurant happily cut and served it for us at my extra charge. They also seemed happy to do it for us. Some restaurants really give you a hard time about this.
Lovely dining room. Our waitress was very attentive and the ravioli was delicious. Portion was small, but perfect. Hostess and other staff were not very friendly. Smiles and eye contact would have been appreciated.
Everything was beyond all superlatives !!
I did not think the minestrone was as good as usual. Also, it took awhile for them to bring more bread to the table...after a request for more.
We’ve been here many times and this is by far the best meal preparation we have had. The wine we hoped to drink they were out of however a suitable second choice was presented to us. All in all a great experience.
I brought my mother for lunch for her birthday with my cousin Tami. When we came in I told the server who seated us that it was my mother's birthday (she was 78). So we had a very good meal, but the portions for the mains were very large. I think this is just how things are in the U.S. Our starters and mains were very tasty. When we'd finished our main, the server asked us what we'd like for dessert. It was like I'd never mentioned my mother's birthday in advance. So she did bring a Tiramisu for us all to share and my mother enjoyed it, I just wish she would have been surprised....
The waitress Nancy was great. I will request her service the next time we visit.
We love this place. Never bad service or food. Quiet and intimate atmosphere.
The service is a little off. Poor bus boy effectiveness.
The service and food were outstanding! It is a beautiful, quiet restaurant on a quiet lake. The best of the best!
The food was great the lasagne wasn't very good but the service we received from Nicole was not what you expect when you go to a restaurant like this. She failed almost every level of service, the water girl and busser where better then she was.
We celebrated our 45th anniversary at the restaurant. The atmosphere was delightful. The service was very professional and friendly. We were well taken care of.
Service and food quality are always great, wine by the glass choices are very good
It's nice but a little pricey. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic.
The service and food was beyond excellent. Very nice outing thanks
Food and wine were excellent. Unfortunately, we were seated within two feet of a stairway that was constantly used by wait staff and diners - it felt like we were in the middle of the traffic path. After being seated, it took at least five minutes for anyone to acknowledge us - I was very close to leaving. When our server finally came to the table, she even commented, “Geez, no one has even given you water yet!”. The same server appeared to be rushed and/or annoyed when she dealt with us. Since we never expressed our frustration or disappointment to anyone at the restaurant, I’m assuming the server was having a bad night and her attitude wasn’t directed at us.
