Food was wonderful. Service was a bit slow. It took an hour and 5 minutes before our food came out. Despite this, I would definitely go back. I think we just had bad luck on our food delivery that night. It seemed everyone else was served in a decent time.

We loved our experience at Da Carletto! I had researched a place not too far from our Airbnb and our gondola ride. The restaurant in person looks just like the pictures online, if not better. We shared the beef carpaccio appetizer. The two entrees we ordered were seafood pasta which had a lot of shellfish which was NOT overcooked (thank you!) and the ravioli. White wine suggested by the server was a good choice. I wish we weren't so far away, but we'll definitely go back whenever we are lucky enough to be in Venice again!

Overall a very good experience, the mixed fish antipasto was probably the best I’ve ever tasted in Venice, in quantity and quality. Service was excellent and prompt, the only regret was “profiteroles” not at the proper temperature and a little bit overpriced. At the end of dinner we also got a free excellent “Limoncello”. I definitely will recommend this rare gem in a city really difficult for turists looking for a good restaurant.
