My name is Antonio Tartaglia and I have been a Chef for over 30 years.In this time I have worked in some of the best restaurants in Italy, Germany and Scotland. My restaurant is family friendly, traditional and has authentic Italian cooking as well as fresh products refreshed daily. I learned my trade from a young age in some of Italy's best kept restaurants and moved to Scotland in 1980. Since then I have worked in the famous La Parmigiana and L'Ariosto in Glasgow. I decided to open my own business and then at end of 90's we decide to take over the Pulcinella Resteraunt in Glasgow with rocco martone. After I have moved to Dolce Vita in Wishaw and most recently the Da Antonio in Hamilton has won the tripadvisor award for excellence in Lanarkshire.

Excellent local Italian restaurant. Friendly staff, great cooking. Had the mussels to start which were very, very tasty in a white wine, tomato and chilli sauce. Then had Veal Parmigiana which was so good. The homemade Tiramisu was also great. Good value wine. Great place, worth a visit
