   This is merely an "acceptable" village Italian - mostly useful for its location, rather than actual value. For what you get, it is more vastly overpriced than even the usual NYC standard. One could do far better for $100 per person by walking further east or west.

    We had an early reservation on a Tuesday so the restaurant was fairly quiet but still had a good buzz. From greeter to getting the bill, the service was excellent; friendly and attentive but not pushy. The food wasn’t exceptional but portions were a good size. I had the soup starter and tagliatelle vongole and my companion also had a pasta dish and some sides. The sound level was perfect for table talk and I’d highly recommend this restaurant as a place for friends to have a casual dinner where having the ability to chat is important!
