Holiday menu was so much good food!
In seattle for the first time for the bears game!! Which they won…lets go bears…
I ordered the chicken tenders and bacon infused waffles, they were super. Fried chicken tenders were crispy and very tasty.
It was a Great way to my birthday on good boxing day.. oh yeah bears won🙏🏿😎
Great chicken and waffles. I love having a neighborhood restaurant just a block away that has good food and friendly service.
The food is sooo good. The fried chicken and dipping sauces are amazing and certainly live up to the hype. (I'm still thinking about it two weeks later.) We got the tasting menu and were surprised on how much food there was. Next time I'll order just the chicken so that I can concentrate on enjoying just that dish. The Pumpkin Spice Side Car is a must have too. I can't wait to go back for brunch or dinner!
Stopped in for a quick bite while exploring Seattle. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. Would definitely go again next time we’re in Pioneer Square.
Found this restaurant on the open table site and it was an unexpected jewel.
Can’t wait to go back!
Perfect reservable spot for post game socializing!
Service was excellent
With oysters, mussels, and an octopus burger, the menu suggests that it is not everyday pub grub. Fried chicken was also prominently featured, so we tried the chicken party platter. it ended up being the opposite of what we expected. overcooked, dry, unseasoned heap of chicken and fries in a box.
I’d give the place another chance, but avoid the chicken.
Cute little place! Great service great drinks and food
Love the fried chicken sandwich and party box, great quality and delicious!
Awesome spot that I’m happy to have finally discovered!
Oh my gosh what a find! This unassuming gem is a must-do.
Homemade siracha for their oysters was a revelation.
Cider with glitter in it. What? Completely amazing.
Seared octopus on the same menu as brisket fries.
Get in here and eat their food ASAP.
We made a reservation for our party of 6 for after the Seahawk game so we could get a bite before hitting the road. Food and service was awesome. This was our 4th time in and we will continue to frequent this place.
Worst experience. They called to cancel a group of 10 the day of and then called back to say nevermind. We booked for a birthday brunch before a sounders game and would not return due to rude staff and poor service. They never brought drinks after an hour and a half. Had to continuously ask the waiter what was going on. They ran out of items and rather than telling us they just ignored us, after being told they were out of beer, champagne, bloody Marys we changed orders and still never received anything. Was ignored and charged 20% tip for terrible service and no follow through on what was ordered. They also charged us for all the drinks that we never received. Would never return. Rude staff, No drinks ever arrived after two hours and the food orders were wrong. Would not recommend to anyone.
We were definitely understaffed for the Sounder's match on the Saturday that you came in. Additionally we had some issues with product not coming in as ordered & this all had an affect on the service that you received. I understand that these are excuses and we're working with our team to improve. We hope the gift card we included with our response to your review on Square will be enough to give us a 2nd shot.
The brunch menu at D&E had something for everyone in our group - including great options for the vegetarian - and the service was excellent. Would return again, and recommend the restaurant to anyone for any event.
Chase was an excellent server!
Great pregame brunch. Close to stadium and feet atmosphere.
Great ambiance, drinks, service. However, there was a major problem with one of our dishes. Portions were a little bit small and lacking in presentation. I feel like this may be a newer restaurant and they just have some kinks to work out. Definitely has great potential!
“Pub grub” shouldn’t require that one be drunk to stomach it.The saving grace on the chicken sandwich was the fries. The grilled chicken Cesar was not so lucky. There were chewy bits in the chicken than should have been trimmed away during prep. The romaine was served burnt, bitter, and skipped prep entirely - it had to be cut off the lettuce head by the diner. One can elevate simple dishes or one can emasculate them. This was the latter.
I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the food at our restaurant. I will discuss your feedback with the team to ensure we're properly serving everything on the menu. Since we didn't serve to our high standards for your experience, we'd love to invite you back in to again on us to prove we're capable of creating a better experience. Feel free to contact me directly and I can help coordinate the details for another experience.
It was a Valentine’s Day dinner. I was on a business trip. Excellent fresh food, good friendly service - all around solid place.
We're happy to hear you enjoyed everything. Thanks for the feedback.
Great atmosphere. Very good food!

Dropped by before a Seahawks game, obviously busy. Great service. Thank you
Great food, especially the chicken sandwich, and excellent service.
Great spot for a bite and a beer before the game! Glad to have found this place.
Table was setup and ready when our party of 6 arrived. Server answered questions easily and provided table with pleasant, efficient service. Food was cooked to order and well received by all in the group. Have been here individually and with small groups a few times and have enjoyed on each occasion.
D&E is a great restaurant and place to hang out. Keep up the great work!
Yummy cocktails, delicious food, cool spot located just a couple of blocks from the stadiums! Fun new find!
Food was ok-nothing memorable. Coho salmon was overcooked, broccoli was cold. Highlight=Ginger beer on tap👍🏽
There were some nice things about the food - the lamb burgers were really great. The wilted romaine caesar salad was really meh, though. We waited a ridiculously long time for our food in a place that was practically empty, and the burgers were hot but the other things were cold and had clearly been sitting way too long. Fried chicken was good except cold :-( and there was some kind of hot sauce in the marinade that wasn't mentioned in the description and which i didn't enjoy. The wait and cold food though - that was disappointing and i don't think i'm likely to go back.
Great place for before and after Football or soccer game.
I've been to D&E a few times. I'm still not sure what they're really good at. This occasion I had brunch, a simple basic egg, bacon breakfast and while it fuels you, it wasn't really distinct.
While this was pre-Sounders match and a bit busy with maybe two servers, the service lacked a bit in regards to replenishing coffee or even being a bit more available to ask for salt and pepper (which the tables did not include). Pretty much on par for the other occasions I've been here.
It seems best for a very casual happy hour, but I'm not sure its distinct from any other bar/grill in the area.
I get I'm a bit particular, but I'd love to see them winnow the options and really do a few things great. And have condiments and such on the table, so people can use them at their leisure.
