Love the restaurant, the food is good and everyone is very friendly.
Good selection of dishes for every budget and food requirements. I had the grilled veal chop that was a special on the menu. Delicious!
Best food great chef
The staff was very knowledgeable, management was very accommodating, and the overall experience was wonderful.
Excellent meal....Classic Hummes was outstanding as was the Chicken Tenderloin! We tried some fried meatballs which were delish. It has a city neighborhood feel with the convenience of the suburbs (there is an easily accessible parking lot directly across the street) this restaurant was lovely and yummy. Can't wait to go back!
Delicious food as always and friendly staff!
We went on Valentine's Day (Evening). Falafel was dry. Tenderloin kebab on skewer was okay. Portion of meat was way too small for $18.00. Makaronia was dry. No taste. Sampler salad was the best part of the dinner. Kevin was a really good Server. Fun atmosphere. Everyone was very nice. The food left a lot to be desired. I was surprised how bad the food was...
Overall very good, especially the food. Service was good but a little bit slow and back area could use a little more lighting (not much) because it was a little hard reading the menu. Will definitely go back.
This place is fantastic! The owners care about your experience and the food is absolutely delicious. I always look forward to going here.
I love the grape leaves and cheese pies. It’s always a toss up between the bronzino and something on special. This is a great family friendly restaurant and the owners are so nice and welcoming. We love it there!
The restaurant is fair at best. Not sure what the hype is all about. The tables are tight such that the server could not reach across the table. It is so loud in the place that it was difficult to have a conversation across the table. Our food, the beef tenderloin and lamb, arrived well done when it was ordered medium rare. The pork belly was served burnt and inedible. I left the rest on the plate. The server did not even notice that the main entree wasn't even eaten, when it was staring them in the face. We ordered a bottle of wine and when our glasses were clearly empty, our server took no notice again. In other places the server would have at least offered to fill the glasses. As a side note, we had a reservation, but it was clear that if you weren't on the A list you waited. Some may rave as the staff and chef dote on them but we certainly didn't receive this attention. On the plus side the portions were not overly sized, the tabouli was very tasty, and the parking easy.
Food was great, most of it. Place is lively but very loud, could not hear ourselves. Also, can us some decor, pretty plain.
Delicious. We were very pleased. I will definitely ho
Great restraunt, some of the best Greek/med food you can eat anywhere in Baltimore. It is a little noisy
The food was delicious, the service a tad slow but very friendly. We did find it to be a bit loud & difficult to hear each other speak at times. But we will definitely return.
As always our dinner at Cypriana was delicious from start to end! We enjoyed the hummus
Maria in the kitchen and Vassos out front is an unstoppable combination. Spectacular food. Fresh and tastes homemade. Never dissapoints!
Fantastic food always! Desserts were a bit old (my donuts were hard and the baklava too crispy), but delicious still.
Our meal was delicious at Cypriana. The owners make you feel at home. Highly recommend it!
Love this restaurant! We always have wonderful, delicious food! However, it was so noisy on a Friday night that we could barely hear each other at the table. Next time, we will go during the week when it will probably be less noisy.
Outstanding food, excellent service, beautiful location and atmosphere, warm welcoming owner and staff. Great restaurant.
Outstanding food! The owners are so welcoming and made sure your evening was perfect. So happy for this neighborhood restaurant!
we can't wait to go back!!!! we over ordered because everything read so fabulous. We truly enjoyed every bit of our experience.
you must make reservations it is very popular!!!!
Cypriana was incredible from start to finish. This restaurant is now one of my two favorite restaurants in the city. Here’s why: the owner is such a kind man and makes it a point to greet EVERY table and customer who enters this restaurant. From there, he was able to share the most taste-filled details about everything on the menu. You can see the pride of his restaurant in the way he speaks and describes every piece of the menu. Once ordered, every bite was an explosion of tastes that were SO heavenly. We had the hummus, Greek Salad, mushroom grape leaves, and shares an entree, pork belly - it was such an amazing meal. Be sure to order all of this AND Cyprus coffee with Baklava. The owner said it perfectly, “ this will be the best baklava you ever had” and he sure was right! Even the barista was lovely as she explained the process of making Cyprus coffee to my husband and me. We would go to this restaurant daily if we could and cannot wait to go back!!!
We love Cypriana - sesame roasted feta and Greek salad were outstanding. The back room where we were seated was like a storage area blocked off from the rest of the restaurant by metal shelving. Also, the lamb chops were, in my opinion, overpriced at 3 for $35. Even less appealing were the unusual consistency of the lamb chops which in the case of all three were very stringy.
This will not prevent us from returning, but will not order the lamb chops.
Delightful atmosphere, delicious food, but pricey and portions are small
A meal not to be forgotten! Such a great experience!
Our reservation was for 8:15 but we had to wait about 25 minutes for seating at two top in flow of traffic. Was Saturday night and extremely noisy. Conversation not possible without yelling. All plates are small Mezze running $10 to 18 or more each. Kebab - tender and tasty but small - came with cold burned french fries and a two tablespoons of tasty chopped salad. Desserts limited, $10 each. Chocolate cake tasted like Sams club cake but with rosewater drizzled on it. May go back at a less busy time. Pretty place but too loud.
The food and service always great.
The servers were excellant, giving us good advise, not rushing us. Food was served in a timely manner and was delicious. The owner came to our table twice to greet us and find out how we were doing.
One of our favorite places. Best Mediterranean food and drinks. We just keep going back.
Way too noisy!! Guests at next table screaming!! Had to ask them to lower voice. They did! Much better after that. Would definitely come back but. It on a Friday or Saturday nite. People dining out should be able to have conversations and not have to listen to their neighbors’
We love this restaurant. The owners are so gracious. Always come to check on us while we are there. It’s our go to place before the theatre or to meet friends. Great food and the servers are terrific.
Food was good but portions small and expensive for the amount.
Grilled fish was excellent but small and pricey.
Everything was extra delicious! We felt at home and will certainly be back.
Food was VERY slow to arrive but very tasty and a great menu. The baklava was the BEST!
Exquisite food, great portions, great options for small, medium or large plates, and the coffee is fabulous too. Service and front-end program are exemplary. Free parking makes a special occassion dinner totally hassle-free.
I give this gem of a place 5 stars! The only thing I would mention is there is no changing table in the restroom but there are high chairs. Even still this place is amazing. It’s an evening place so I was even surprised by the highchairs being available. The food is unique and made with absolute care and love. I have dined here twice and have made this a go to place for special occassions. I live very close to DC and the drive is worth it. The waiter was busy but treated us as if we were his only customer. The owners are great and even come around after dinner to ask how everything was and for a little small talk. This place is a true gem!
Love this place!
This was our first time at Cypriana. It was fantastic! Prior to our reservation time, the hostess called us to let us know there was utility work on the street in front of the restaurant and gave very helpful directions about where to park. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly sever. The atmosphere was energetic and fun. The owner/manager came over prior to us ordering, asked if we had dined there before and sat down at our table. He walked us through the menu and let me know that everything on the menu was gluten free except for three items. One of which was pita, but they have a gluten free pita. As a celiac, this was music to my ears! We had a wonderful meal sharing many small plates with our group of five. Some were so good we ordered seconds! We finished off the meal with a delicious chocolate cake that the kitchen had adorned with a happy birthday message for my mom. When we left the owner/manager shook our hands at the door, asked us about how our experience was, and engaged in fun conversation about Greece. I rarely write reviews, but use them to guide my own dining experiences. Wonderful reviews were what brought us to Cypriana and this one should bring you there too!
