I had the catch of the day and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ate oysters which were very good as well.

Food was delicious, service was great, restaurant is lovely and prices are reasonable! Have introduced several friends to Cypress and they all love it!

Let me just say everything about this restaurant is amazing. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were absolutely outstanding ten stars we will be back!

First time at a relatively new (6 months, I believe) place. Very pleasant and helpful staff, nice selection of seafood and other choices and everything we ordered was tasty and plentiful. Nicer than your average "strip center" eatery but not so formal as to be uncomfortable. Fine neighborhood spot that we'll definitely be going back to.

Great new restaurant in Severna Park. Pricey but well worth it. Top level chefs. Wait staff was awesome. Comfortable seating. Low noise. Exceptional food! “This must be the Place” to go to!

This was our first visit. Service was incredible and very personable. All the food was well worth the trip. Highlights were the fried green tomatoes with the hot honey (appetizer) and the short rib sandwich (unexpectedly flavorable for a mostly seafood restaurant). The jumbo stuffed shrimp was also good. We’ll definitely be back.

The menu here is a carbon copy of dozens of Maryland restaurants predictable and uninspired. Ahi tuna with wonton chips and avocado cream? Seen it. Calamari with the chipotle mayo dipping sauce? Check. Crab dip, standard salads, and sandwiches with only the fish swapped outn all textbook. Even the “Trident” combo (crabcake, scallops, or shrimp) is just another version of the same “seafood trio” you’ll find anywhere. Honestly, I could list five other places with this exact menu off the top of my head. It’s frustrating because the space itself is beautiful; airy, full of natural light, with a warm staff and great ambiance. And then you look at the menu and realize… it’s just more of the same. If I didn’t know better, I’d think the chef from Libbey’s on Kent Island designed it. Unfortunately the menu is just a copy-paste.

The service was very slow. The restaurant was not full, but appeared to be under staffed. Drinks took a very long time to come out. Our dinners were all good. Good, not great. After we were finished, The dirty dishes sat on the table for quite a long time. Took a long time to get the check and then even longer to get it picked up.

Cypress was an excellent restaurant. Did not rush us when we were done eating. Food could not have been better than what was served.
