Great food and great atmosphere! Everything was amazing! Will be back!!
We were happy to be back at Cypress, and to see their new set up! I was disappointed to see that they removed my favorite item, the hot honey chicken biscuit from the menu! But I did enjoy the babka chocolate French toast in its place and the new chicken fried steak was the bomb! We also got to grab a few items from their market, which were delicious as well! Can’t wait to go back, and excited one of my favorite brunch spots is back open!
Great service and delicious, well prepared food. The cream of asparagus soup was amazing as was the chocolate pecan pie a la mode. Sound buffers on the ceiling—wish all restaurants had these
Wonderful as usual
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Plan on returning.
Great variety in unique tasty foods; excellent mixed drinks and charcuterie board.
The fried risotto balls are wonderful. The New York strip was requested Medium, but unfortunately came out on the very rare side. The menu tilts toward seafood. If you’re in the mood for southern flair on locally derived fish it may be worth the try.
On a random Sunday night we were the only people there during the time of our dinner. It seemed a little strange. Overall the food was good, unfortunately the soup and several sauces were cold. Not sure we would go back even if we lived there. As we were the only people, hard not to get it right.
It was an average meal
Beautiful presentation of the grouper dinner. We both had that. Very good service. Small table for 2 when there were plenty of 4 tops. Wasn’t cozy and relaxing. Felt cramped and seated right next to another table of 2 and heard all of there convo. There were lots of empty tables so not sure why we were seated right next to them.
My soda came out watered down, the pasta was not good. I got the squid ink carbonara and it did not taste anything like the carbonara I've had before. My friends for the lamb pasta and the portion was not really that big.
The food was amazing and the service was great as well! I highly recommend the filet! One of the best I have had! Highly recommend this place!
Although they had a special menu in effect due to their one year anniversary, it was still an outstanding meal. Service was great as well.
My only disappointment was that while their online menu looked fabulous (and I wanted to try most everything!), they had fewer offerings the night we visited. But the food we did have - fried green tomato stack with pimento cheese; arancini; tuna carpaccio; charcuterie; and, shrimp bisque, plus some - were all delicious! Will definitely be returning.
Staff is very friendly and moderately attentive.
The menu is inconsistent. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely wonderful with the perfect crispness and marvelous sauces. The scallops were very nice consistency with very mediocre service risotto. The Caesar salad lacked adequate dressing and thus flavor.
I hate to give less than perfect reviews. This was our first time dining here and we had high expectations. When we arrived they were having their 1 yr anniversary celebration so the menu was very limited. There were 3 of us and none of us liked the food. Initially, our service was good, but we had a poor experience with a VERY rude server named Victoria. After we ate we decided to try their desserts. They had 3 options. One of the options was a Myer Lemon "Hot Toddy" that had a shortbread cookie with it. We all 3 thought it was an after dinner cocktail that came with a cookie since it said it was a Toddy. My friend ordered it. When it came it was an actual dessert. The lady that served it was very nice & said she would take it back. Our actual server Victoria was very indignant and asked us if we thought the dark chocolate bread pudding as a drink too since it was also listed under the desserts!! We were also shocked that she would be so RUDE. Of course no one confused a bread pudding as a drink, but all 3 of us assumed the same thing. Either way, that was a poor way to treat a customer. I won't be returning, but I wouldn't hold this one rude server against the restaurant. We didn't care for the menu or food, but based other reviews a lot of people apparently do. I wrote this primarily for the owner's of the restaurant to know how their server treats their customers. We still tipped her well because despite her rude comment she did service our table well. Maybe she was just ignorant to common courtesy?
We were excited to visit given the excellent online reviews but we were very disappointed. Food was just ok and nothing like we had anticipated. It was a day or so after Valentine’s Day so maybe the kitchen staff was tired. Regardless, we won’t be back. Quality didn’t match the price.
Went there for the first time on Valentine’s Day, so service was a bit slower than what it normally likely is. However, our waitress was very friendly and helpful of the menu items. Overall, the food is very good and on our list of top dinner options in Pensacola!
Our first time for brunch and it did not disappoint. Great value, big servings, delicious!! Always a great experience.
The best food and beverage program in all of pensacola
The service & personal attention was greatly appreciated. Grouper cheeks, veal, filet & dessert were delightful! Thank you!!
First time trying out! Will go back! It was good but really cannot give it full review until going a couple more times.
Cypress has the best Cobb Salad ever!! It is my favorite go to. My husband and I enjoy our evening meals at Cypress also. Servers are very attentive and their pasta is always delicious.
Excellent food and service.
Excellent food, beautiful atmosphere and terrific service. Need I say more? If you haven’t been to Cypress lately, you need to go!! Cypress is fantastic!
Intimate restaurant with wonderful food. I've visited 5 times and each time has always been amazing. The food is always tasty, hot and well cooked. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My favorite new restaurant in town.
Everything we tasted was perfect. They accommodated a wheelchair without any complication.
We loved everything about Cypress Pensacola. Starting with the warm welcome at the door, excellent service and food, we were won over! Looking forward to returning on our next trip to town.
The food and service was impeccable at Cypress! Will definitely be back and reccomend Cypress to friends!!! Delicious!!!
Ate before we went to a play. The food and desert was outstanding!
Very nice ambiance and cuisine. Service was great!
Delicious! Will be back soon!
This was our first visit to Cypress, and all four in our party loved it. Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. We will definitely return.
Wento for Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was delicious. Loved the gumbo and apple bisque soup. The turkey with all the trimmings was wonderful. It's a cute place with a very relaxed but upscale vibe. It was a little on the pricey side, but nice for a special occasion.
The most amazing food and service!! Delicious and beautiful presentation!!
So glad you enjoyed your meal with us!
While we dined here for Thanksgiving, it would also be good for date night or other casual upscale dinner with friends. Food was delicious, service was spectacular and ambience was pleasing with exposed brick walls and tin ceiling.
Thank you for joining us for our Thanksgiving feast!
Great food, fantastic service (thank you Alyssa (sp?) ). Thanksgiving dinner was perfect.
Thank you for joining us for our Thanksgiving feast!
Wow what a find in Pensacola. Comparable to the best 5 star restaurants in New York. Foie gras, waygu beef, scallops all cooked perfectly wine list very interesting. Can’t wait to return
Thank you so much for the kind words!!
Cypress is worth a detour, and I'm glad I now have a reason to stop in Pensacola on my drives from Tampa to the midwest. On a chilly night, I had a Manhattan that was even better than what I make for myself. The amberjack, one of my favorite Florida fishes, was perfect; when the fish itself is good, a simple presentation
is best. What dazzled me was a deviled egg with "bacon jam" and air-fried leeks. Labor intensive, but what a taste explosion! I was very happy and only wish I'd been staying nearby. The service was excellent and personable. Cypress is a find.
This was our first visit, and we will definitely look forward to returning. I ordered the special of the evening, which was priced at $30 and included soup or salad, entree, and a glass of wine. The entree offered was a combo of seared salmon and a Wagyu filet, served with fingerling potatoes and a vegetable. It was delicious. My husband tried a dish which featured a carrot pasta with wild boar. I sampled it, and it was very good. In addition, the house made breads that were served with the meal were a great touch. We will certainly be adding Cypress to our list of favorite restaurants!
Thank you for the wonderful feedback. I am so glad you enjoyed your first visit and we look forward to having you with us again!
