   Great spot for brunch with friends. Food and cocktails were amazing and staff was attentive. Atmosphere is lovely as well. Beautiful restoration of an old vacant property.

   Our server was also bartender....she did a great job waiting our table way across the room. Water glass never empty! Food was good but not exceptional. Decor lovely restored building!

   My hubby and I enjoy eating at nice venues from Indiana, Louisville, Georgetown, Lexington, Versailles, Frankfort. Cypress & Oak is the best .The food is amazing. I got the cast iron Cod and he got the NY Strip. So many flavors 😋 my taste buds was happy. The restaurant is beautiful 😍 . The open kitchen is nice to see the food get put together. The drink from the bar was perfect, the bartender 👌. We will definitely make this a place to eat at often.

   Maybe brunch is new and they need to work on the process. The server did not check on us very often and there were only 3 tables with people. Biscuits and gravy was very bad, very sweet, worst I’ve ever had. On the plus side, we were seated quickly and the Avocado toast was great.

   So happy we found this spot- the dishes were phenomenal and perfect for us all as we have a range of dietary needs (veterinarian, GF, and paleo). We loved all our entrees and desserts both, our husbands loved the whiskey menu. We plan to come back whenever we make it back to Frankfort!

   This was our first trip to cypress and oak. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and service were great. The food was excellent. The open concept kitchen is a treat. This is a wonderful addition to the Frankfort restaurant scene.
