CUT by Wolfgang Puck offers a sophisticated and modern design, refined service, and the absolute finest selections of beef. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus reflect the unique spirit and sensibility of the Washington metropolitan area, with both the menu and design drawing inspiration from the surrounding Georgetown neighborhood.

CUT restaurant features two stunning bars: one guests will find upon entering the hotel lobby, while the other sits atop the hotel on a magnificent deck overlooking the city. Both will serve custom artisan cocktails, wine, beer, and an extensive food menu. An intimate 14-seat private dining space also will be available for special events, meetings, and celebrations.

I couldn’t have picked a better restaurant for my boyfriend’s birthday! He was blown away. EXCELLENT service, food, and atmosphere. Best filet we’ve ever had. Our waiter Andrew was incredible. Thank you CUT for this unforgettable experience! We will be back.

Great spot for a birthday. They accommodated my 10 person party at 10:30pm. Kitchen closed at 11 but there was no rush for us to order. Great experience

George, Rosie, and their team orchestrate a culinary experience to top all! The duck is the best unexpected delight, along with the lobster perfectly poached and delicious! Eggplant appetizer is divine.

Chef Puck was present for our dinner service and greeted us and each of the tables personally. Call act! The food was delicious, prepared perfectly and the sommelier was knowledgeable and helpful with wine selection. This a great new addition to the Washington restaurant scene!

Food was excellent with generous portions. We each had our own main and split a salad appetizer and a side of spinach. At the end of dinner both of us were too full to have dessert. The wine list is extensive and a good mix of price levels.
Service was amazing, our water glasses were never empty and we never had to look for our servers. The only complaint is the restaurant is very noisy-- we were struggling to hear each other and we had a corner table so it was quieter than a table in the middle of the room. Definitely a special occasion restaurant and we will return

The steak was average for a high price. The service started off strong but then became terrible. After dinner they never brought ordered Cappuccino and Tea. They repeatedly told me that the drinks would be right out. It took me four attempts to get our check. Finally, had to find the manager.

Our night at Cut DC was such a wonderful experience from the moment we walked through the door where were greeted by Rosario. We were then escorted to the beautiful rooftop bar by Eliza to a beautiful view of the city. Allison and Mariah served us amazing cocktails and appys. Our server for dinner was Ashley who couldn’t have been sweeter or more efficient. We were also able to meet the management staff, Evan, George, and Chef Andrew and we’re completely overjoyed by their hospitality. We ended our perfect dinner over night caps with Mixologist Andrew who spoke about champagne, whiskey, sherry and bourbon with such passion. Your entire staff is AMAZING! Wishing you all much success!

Our waiter was friendly and all the staff were great with the little one. There are no restaurants like this around where I live, so the food and experience was wonderful.

This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time, hands down. The service was stellar and the food amazing. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly, and had just the right amount of seasoning/char. The macaroni and cheese and the potato tart were both delicious sides.

We were staying at the rosewood, we have tried many steakhouses but not cut heard great things, but not impressed with the bone-in strip meat was good but not cooked like it should of been, cheesecake was amazing!

Came back a second time! Food was just as good as the first. This time we actually tried the duck! The food was of course delicious but the magic of this place is in the presentation. The whole duck is def and must try! We also had the sweetbread which was top notch. Service was top notch as expected. Server was very knowledgeable and passionate about the food.

I was expecting a better experience. The renovated space is well done: enlarging the lounge was a great idea. The seating is comfortable and the bar is attractive. It will draw bar patrons away from the nearby Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton. The renovation means that the bathrooms are now down a flight of stairs--a familiar set up if you dine out in NY, not so much in DC. The menu is limited. Thumbs up for the summer corn agnolotti and salad options. By contrast, the vegetable side dishes were terrible (especially the potato tarte tatin. Get this abomination off the menu before it is too late). All of the beef items are dry aged. For some, that is great news. For others like me who don't like the effect of dry aging, it eliminates the beef options from the already short menu. (Cut's Beverly Hills location, for example, has several non-dry aged options). The service, especially the sommelier, was attentive. This may have been because on an August evening they weren't too stretched. Cut is noisy and expensive--and has much room for improvement before the busy fall season gets underway.

Only bad thing is we complained multiple times about being hot, then on our own saw that the thermostat next to our booth was set on HEAT in August and it was 79 degrees!!!!!!

Came for brunch with family - after having a delightful dinner here recently. And it did not disappoint! We saw outside on a gorgeous morning. We ordered oysters, tomato burrata salad, and mushroom pasta. We shared the tomahawak - it was so flavorful! Our kids have severe food allergies and not only did they make the accommodations, they made great recommendations as well. Would definitely come back - again.
