   This was our first time trying the new Afternoon Tea at cut. Such a fun activity for the afternoon. Nice selection of teas. The 3 savory sandwiches were so yummy! The desserts were pretty to look at and yummy to taste. The penaut butter mille feuille and the chocolate rocher were melt in your mouth yummy. The detail of the cherry blossom on the desserts was amazing and so fitting for DC in the spring. The service was great as usual for CUT. A really cool new concept. If there was a bit more savory to sweet ratio, this would be perfect.

   I wish we could enjoy this place more but there was a CONSTANT interruption of conversation by the servers. We were asked four times within 10 minutes if they could take our plate away which was full of food that we were obviously still working on. You feel very rushed to finish your dinner and pay the check. The decor and atmosphere is nice, the food is OK, very overpriced for what you get for. Next time, we will just go to the rooftop for drinks but not to the restaurant for dinner.

   Excellent food Steaks were delicious, wait staff were excellent Ambience was very nice and location was very nice . Off a main street in George Town. Visiting from out of town , would definitely eat there again.

   One of the best steaks (Wagyu bavette) I have had in my life. Oysters and my guest’s filet mignon were also world class. Nice ambiance and excellent service. Very impressed!

    Disappointing service and mediocre menu. The main male server was quite grumpy and presumptuous. They were out of several teas such as Earl Grey which is the equivalent of being out of water at a restaurant. He told me I wouldn’t like a tea I asked about before giving a description. He huffed and puffed when splitting our check. Having had tea across the US and outside of the US this is by far the worst experience. The young woman who brought out our food and another man who brought us sugar cubes were the only ones who displayed friendly behavior. The food was okay: the only standouts were the truffled egg salad and the cherry blossom sweet. To pay $85 for no tea refills (or offers of adding hot water), a respectfully underwhelming menu and poor service felt like robbery. If you’re in DC don’t waste your time here go to the Willard for the best experience.
