   The mark up on alcoholic beverages is to much. I thought that a glass of wine was unnecessarily expensive. ( not withstanding the duty paid on such beverages ) I ordered extra wild mushrooms with my meal order, but they never came. I never made a fuss and carried on, I don't know why this happened but it wasn't so important, but a detail missed. The food was good, and well served. The dining room was nice and the chairs comfortable. Whilst on a few occasions when we go out without money constraints, this night being our wedding anniversary, and I'm willing to pay what it costs, no food and drink is worth the amount of the bill. I just hope your staff are paid very well as a result. I would return if the occasion warranted it, and I would recommend it as a dining experience. Thank you. Brian Wilson

   The food at CUT was decent, but not extraordinary. The marbling on the ribeye was sufficient and was cooked to order, but for the type of cut a ribeye is, it should have been larger and preferably bone-in. That said, it was flavorful and sufficiently tender. The sides offered were similarly decent, but with reduced portions ultimately leaving you wanting a bit more. This is in sharp contrast to the sauces one can order to accompany your cut. I felt that there was far too much given; a quarter of the amount being more than adequate for the entire steak. The ambiance was rather muted, which I actually prefer so that I can hold a conversation. The lighting was similarly adjusted. The floor plan did feel a bit too open, and I'm not the biggest fan of rectangular tables as they stifle conversation with anyone more than a chair away. Overall, I wasn't dissatisfied with my meal, nor would I balk at the price I paid. However, given the rather "standard" quality of the meat and the size of the portions, and unremarkable atmosphere, I felt the price was not justified; one should get what they paid for and unfortunately CUT came up just a little short. Would I eat here again? Perhaps. But with so many options Doha has to offer, it's difficult to commit to returning to a restaurant that leaves no lasting impression.

    Outstanding food and service. Great music and great staff. Worth the price for sure. Portions are large and the staff more than happy to advise on what to have. Will definitely be back!
